Fix broken cable with bicycle brake adjuster - ford car truck van door won't open - stuck latch

Updated 2022/09/13 Shows how to fix broken cables that prevent many Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury car and truck doors from opening. It's an easy fix. Just file a bicycle brake adjuster to resemble the shape of the original housing end. This idea can be used to fix other types of cables also.

The brake cable adjuster I use in the video were ordered off of ebay. The seller is no longer available, but there are plenty of other sellers. You can also get them at some bicycle repair shops. I recommend the 10mm adjusters. Buy a few extra in case you make mistakes. They are much cheaper on ebay.
