This definitely needs to be used therapeutically. I would have gone through with my suicide plan if I hadn't gotten some of the healing experiences that I did with lucid dreaming. I can safely say it saved my life. That's what keeps me motivated to keep helping others with it as much as I can.

You made me wanna ask you, how exactly did lucid dreaming help you? I myself tried to lucid dream but to no avail. I currently suffer from social anxiety which was not present in my teen years, so I thought lucid dreaming can help me with that. Please tell me if its possible.

+Richard Trofimov hey, it's definitely possible. personally, it helped me to uncover parts of myself that I refused to see and to make peace with them. I got my big help from meditation in lucid dreams, which has almost immediate effects in dreams. I also made the intentional effort to find the meaning of what appeared in my dreams and learned to ask questions that would provide answers to why I was the way I was and how I could improve my situation. For social anxiety I think you could do similarly, but you might benefit more from exposing yourself to social situations in dreams that give you trouble in waking life. like trying public speaking in dreams or even starting with talking to one person and scaling it up gradually. If you get bad reactions from people in dreams you can clearly ask why, which is something that's frowned upon in waking life. Some of their answers may surprise you, or even bring insight. you could even ask for pointers from dream characters and you just might get some advice that you can apply in your day to day. hope this helps!

I just need to express my gratitude as well. Have been interested in lucid dreaming the last couple of months. Been extremely inspired by the book "Dreams of awakening" and look very much forward to explore more and more. Thank you!!
    * Last night I aspired to meet my uncounscious anger, and during dream I was surrounded by a mob whom I believe represented that anger/rage. Unfortunately I became so excited over being lucid that instead of meeting the dream characters in a constructive way, I just started to fly through them and show off. Looking forward to get over this phase! Much Love

I had such a bad experience when I was like 17 trying to have an OBE but I used to lucid dream too and also had a bad experience where I forgot I was aware and went back to dreaming and it turned into a nightmare. I became fearful and stopped trying but you said something so amazing that gave me a little courage. That whatever is in my dream/nightmare is a part of me and if you ask it what it represents it will tell you. I wish I had known you back then ... ugh all these years I wasted being fearful. I'm still a bit nervous but very excited about doing this again. Thank you for your videos ❤

I like flying and exploring in my lucid dreams. last time I had a lucid dream I was in a beautiful park with buildings and it felt like it was summer time, and I felt like I want to gå to a beach, I started walking and then some young guys walked past me and smiled and then I woke up.

I have read 60% of your book, Dreams of Awakening, and i enjoyed it soo much allready, packed with great experiences and techniques, I use really every night for mindfullness of dream and sleep, it is phantastic, after several years of rather demotivated practice (the only missing part was the motivation, that got me lucid in the end, funny discovery :D ) i got my first lucid dream after 1 month 15days of serious practice with growing motivation, then after that after 23 days, then after 12 days, then after 6 days, and then after 2 days. After this i regret the stop of the practice, but i had some deep insight, great experiences and even successfully asked a question, got the answer immediately, all thanks to your work and my motivation.
By the way, your audio track really helped me out i think.
And thanks for that great video, enjoying every content and wonderful work you create and share.

What do you think about visitation dreams from departed loved ones? I've had ones with my Dad and Mom as well as a set of grandparents, they are lucid and vivid, I know I'm dreaming and that my loved one has passed but is here with me. It's an amazing thing. You get this euphoric energy that runs through you.

I think sometimes its just our memory projections BUT at other times i think it may truly be them using the LD state to communicate with us :-)

If lucid dreaming became any easier the government would invent ways to make it illegal/regulate it - its an extraordinary instrument! Honestly I'm beginning to think we should only cautiously introduce it to teens and young adults. It has the tendency to take over your life without proper maturity - there've been times I'd just wanted to get the day over with so I could dream!

I have had OBE's, and entered the, what some call, the astral plain. My thinking is that this astral dimension it the place we also go on bodily death. People who have a NDE, also report entering another plain of existence where they can, like the OBE, travel within the astral. They can see and hear all that is familiar to them, but not interact with it. So my thinking again is, the astral, is where we get familiar with our new condition of being. Like in the OBE, the NDE experiencer, is not actually dead. One is asleep, the other not 100 % dead.
