  • If you have collapsed arches, these exercises can be used to help "reshape" your foot. Even if you don't have collapsed arches, these exercises can help improve foot awareness.
    If you have true flat feet these exercises probably won't work to reshape the foot, but may help improve foot awareness.

    Im so glad i stumbled upon this. I try to actively lift my arches during yoga sessions, but i always feel like im not "hitting all the spots." I messed around with this shin rotation today and omfg. This video is absolute gold for anyone with fallen arches.

    Thank you for the video....I have 2 strikes again,,, never one i have some history of flat foot on my mother's side of the family, and number two, I have had 2 major strokes (i am 48)...... nevertheless, I am glad i saw your video on dealing with flat feet (i know its very vain of me) but i will overcome the flat foot "syndrome" of me! i have tried the exercises you demonstrated, and i feel happy that the flat footsituation has become a goal i can reach. :-)

    Okay, I'm researching the idea of correcting low arch conditions via foot exercises. I still haven't seen what I believe to be a true foot transformation as a result of exercises. Are your feet able to maintain a natural arch while walking, as normal feet do, without having to exert a conscious effort?

      I would say try them yourself first. Notice how it affects your knees and feet. then see if you can notice a correlation between knees and feet in your daughter.

      You could give it a try, but go very slowly. If it hurts then don't do it or see if you can change the way that you do it.

    I'm not sure what the difference is between fallen arches and flat feet, but your feet still look kind of flat, no?

    • @sensationalmusclecontrol
      @sensationalmusclecontrol  9 лет назад

      +Theo Sakoutis well actually it depends. I can make them flat or I can engage my arches so that the flatness is removed. Yes?

      Could mean "supination" , which is opposite of flat foot. Just a guess though.

    I have flat feet, but I have no pain. The reason I want to fix my flat feet is because when I wear jeans, or any long sleeved pants, my legs look like an x shape.

      Dylan Nguyen that condition is called knock knees or knee valgus. It happens due to 2 main reasons: either flat feet or weak abductor muscles (muscles in the outside of the thigh responsible for pulling your legs away from the midline). I'm suffering from it too and in my case I have both flat feet and weak abductors so I would suggest you try some exercises to strengthen your abductor muscles along with the flat feet exercises. Hope that was helpful. :)

    have you ever cured one collapsed arch ..Just curious

    • @sensationalmusclecontrol
      @sensationalmusclecontrol  5 лет назад +1

      You can do the same exercise while standing on one foot. And that would enable yo to fix one collapsed arch.

      @@sensationalmusclecontrol Thanks for the reply. But I am just curious whether you have seen anyone getting cured using such techniques, because usually such videos are posted by normal people. so I would like to know feedback from one who actually got cured.
