thank you for the advice..theres no magic..only practice every day even for a 5 minutes! although sometimes i cant find those minutes with the 3 of my beautiful children😊 i'll keep on trying..thanks again for the motivaition & your drawing is very good (love trees) 👍

You know what I do! Sometimes just before sleeping i draw a little thing face? Trees? Coloring quick eye ear or somethin just 5 minutes before sleeping. Hope this could help you. Goodluck!! Keep learning!

The shadows look really good...they look like that in the picture.

They're ok. Not like in the picture. The values are off. It just needs a lot more time put in to it, but even then, it's just a bad picture. An excellent drawing of a bad picture is still a bad picture. This is good practice for value reproduction but it was never going to produce a good final image no matter how good he is.
