It was the general believe that she was way better than any contestant at that semifinal. The song is not a cover but written by Davina and her boyfriend.
It was the Eurovision 2021 competition which was organised by the Netherlands because duncan laurens won in 2019. And since Davina is Dutch she did a guest performance with a song especially written for Eurovision. We have to deal with water a lot over here (Netherlands) because 1/5th of our country is below sea level 😁. Another great interval act was Glennis grace, Wulf and Afrojack. You really should check that one out as well.

This year’s winner (Italy) and numbers 2 to 5 were all completely different songs, but I enjoyed every one of them. If you’re not responding to them, at least listen to them. I was especially surprised by the Ukrainian entry.
