Actually, Floor is 6'1" but she is also wearing four inch heals... so almost as tall as Silas when in uniform. This entire concert (as well as many others) is epic from show opener to closer. One bit of helpful trivia, when Nightwish released the original DVD video and High-Definition Blu-ray video disks, there was an error on the Blu-ray version. The high-def video was sampled at 24 Frames-Per-Second instead of the CORRECT SPEED of 25 FPS. Although this has no effect on the audio track, it causes the singers lips to be slightly out of sync with the audio. Fortunately, @NightwishArena wonderfully remastered the entire high-def video and resampled the video to 25 FPS so that it exactly matches the audio track for every song in the setlist. If your head hurts, your doing it wrong. First Rule... if it hurts, STOP !! Second Rule : do NOT test the limits of motion, or how hard-you-can-go. 'Ballistic movements' are dangerous. I'm not a Windmill Instructor, but I do know head/neck Anatomy/Physiology. - RELAXED neck/shoulder muscles - wide stance, one foot in front of the other, bend from the waist; often Floor uses one hand down on her forward thigh for additional support. - the neck circumscribes a 'cone on TOP of the shoulders'. Dropping the chin can over-stress the trapezoids and occipitalis muscles. The head does pivot slightly on the Atlas ands Axis vertebrae (C1 and C2) but only SLIGHTLY. - start SLOW, and get the technique down... as you get used to the motion and gain a firm base. - you NAILED the 'recovery flip' that throws the hair back over the shoulders at the end... the secret is to do it on the 2nd or 3rd bar of the four-bar stanza, so you can recover the mic and be ready to sing the next line. - if you find you're developing bad habits like clenching your teeth or setting your jaw too tight, stop and address that EARLY. Not an MD, Physical Therapist or Exercise Therapist... just a DMD with tonnes of experience working with severely medically compromised folks, accident and trauma victims, and recovering Windmill Injuries (lol... not really. I haven't seen a Windmill Injury yet, but lots of general case neck/back/auto-wreck/facial injury folks. And our oral therapy regimens often extend to all the head/neck/upper back muscles... often needed for clenchers/grinders. Taught at the local U, blahblahblah)
