Thank you sooo much. You offer way more info as the manufacturer.i think they are very busy to get their product 100% and on the market before updating their webpage. Pls offer us as many details as possible. I did the same when I was a test rider.
A 8s Lipo is a 30v with what type of AH? How far or long has it lasted on single track? What do you think a 52v 15AH would be like on a couple 1000 feet of gain? Did you ever compare the motor to a Bafong or any else on the market? Appreciate your vids
Thanks for all the videos showcasing the CYC X1. I noticed you're using an aluminum frame and I was wondering if there was any risk of the frame flexing from the X1's torque. I recently bought a cyclone (didnt't know the x1 existed, would've went with that instead) but I'm afraid of it destroying my aluminum frame. I'll probably end up limiting it to 20% or so.
Oh my gosh you're still alive Tony where have you been? Or RUclips notification algorithm is screwing up again! 😭 This is dope going to have to follow this Beast of yours, hope all is well buddy 🤘🔥❤️
Currently its not that fast with the small batter. Tops out at around 28mph. But another guy with the same motor and 20s battery got his to over 40+mph. Crazy fast and powerful
No the BBSHD is outdated and doesn't fit the new modern bike frames. Yeah if you have an old bike frame the Bafangs will work ok, but the CYC is clearly much better than the BBSHD. Not to mention the BBSHD has that one plastic drive gear that will strip under heavy load and heat. Road use will be ok, but for trail riding I doubt it will last long over time. But the BBSHD is quieter so it is better on that end
The bbshd with a shim will fin any and every bike. I've fitted them on many bikes with no issue. The cyc is hella ugly and noisy. Had high hopes for it and after a look sold mine straight away. The bbshd is easy to repair. Has many customing options. So far not other bolt on kit has it beat in my option. I have one on a 2005 santa cruz and a 2019 commencal dh bike. Until cyc fixes all its bugs I think it will just die out. Good luck with it tho. Thomas
@@thomasdanielgausten5304 the BBSHD will stick down under the frame. Not good for a modern full suspension bike. Who wants a motor sticking down and reducing the ground clearance? Plus it looks like a big ball sack hanging that low on a bike. If your riding on the street or have an an old frame with the triangle frame then it will work, but not on most of the newer bikes these days. Just saying... everyone has their opinions and views. If the BBSHD fits my bikes I would have gotten it, but it doesn't fit nice like the X1.
Also I've had mines for a while now and haven't had any issues. Some are reporting issues but a lot of it is due to user error. I've heard more issues with the BBSHD such as stripped gears, error messages preventing the motor to work, and throttle/pedal assist not working together. Every DIY motor setup will have issues, just some people post more and some don't. The X1 doesn't need many aftermarket parts like the BBSHD to work. Yeah you can swap displays on the BBSHD because the ugly stock display sucks, no BT, cannot be easily programmed on the fly, why so many different chainrings that is like proprietar. It's awesome to have customized options, but from my perspective you only need options because there is an issues and you need those options to work on the bike.
Thanks for the overview video. This e-bike sounds like a brushless electric RC truck. 😉

I still haven't seen any videos of people giving it some downhill off road yet though
They should design a sun visor around the LCD screen

Nice for a small battery 👍👍

Yo man. It's been a while. Yeah RUclips changed. I didn't even see most of the videos I sub to until like weeks later lol
Blows through stop sign at 30mph...doh! (Haha...nice thorough explanation. Try some hose clamps on that speedo...)
would it fit a scott gambler 750?
Nice bike.I like the enduro frame.Check out my 52v vintage Tomac 98 special 1000w hub drive conversion ebikes rule.
Hi, what type of battery you using? Voltage?
it's not supposed to work on mode 0. its pedal only same as a normal bike. 1 is the starting setting.
I am interested in it. Does it have cruise control function?
I forgot how much and how fast does it go Tony? And where can I get it 🤘
Looks like 1000 watts. 3000 watts 60 amps would easily get you past 40mph and would keep poping the front wheel up.
What's the difference between a 14s controller and a 20s?
Top speed?

Must be a “Windows” brand controller...🤣 Unplug. Plug back in. Tap the right side of the controller. Wiggle this wire. Finicky software...🥴
Pass..👎🏾
Hey Apple... iBIKE???
don't like stop signs
sounds like a weed wacker ....to noisy for me.
Yeah it's pretty noisy. Not as quite as a Bafang mid drive
@@shockadellick more power to you if you like it ;-)
Should of just got the bbshd..
