    Hearing it is one thing, but _watching it get played live_ is a whole other level that drenches it in a human element.

    If I was able to make stuff half as good as your "low effort and generic" production then I'd be happy. This is awesome.

    The dystopian dread is sitting on my chest like a metric ton, love it.

    This is AMAZING! The subtle ray of hope that shines over the vast and dull dystopia of our own making

    Oh man, i love your work so much!! Love those drone pads you do. I tried using Paulstretch and Shimmer too, but don't even come near your lush pads! Keep it up!

    • @RemixSample
      @RemixSample  5 лет назад +3

      Hey! Thanks a lot! I'm not really sure how I do it either haha. Using Shimmer on the audio before it's stretched can make a big difference though!

    Thanks for sharing. Very good tapestry of sound. It is good that you demo a "low effort" (minimalist?) composition and share your notes too. May my low effort produce something as well as this some day!

    "Low effort and generic is better than nothing right?"
    Is it me, or are synths the only type of instruments where low effort is needed to make amazing sounds?

    • @RemixSample
      @RemixSample  5 лет назад +4

      I think you're right and that's why I like them :D

    • @brofister9682
      @brofister9682 5 лет назад +7

      I mean the low effort comes right after you actually undestand them, otherwise they can get hard, specially ofmmif you do your own samples

      Ok, agreed at some extent. However, compositional skills are needed wether you deal with synths or "actual" music instruments. And our friend here is nailing it.

    What stretch settings do you normally use on your pads when you stretch them out to make the drones?

    • @RemixSample

      The default settings pretty much all the time.
