Suits delves into the fast-paced, high-stakes world of a top Manhattan corporate law firm where hotshot associate Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht, “Love & Other Drugs”) makes a risky move by hiring Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams, “Old School”) a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout, as his associate. As he becomes enmeshed in this unfamiliar world, Mike relies heavily on the firm’s best paralegal Rachel (Megan Markle, “Horrible Bosses”) and Harvey's no-nonsense assistant Donna (Sarah Rafferty, “Brothers & Sisters”) to help him serve justice. With a photographic memory and the street smarts of a hustler, Mike proves to be a legal prodigy despite the absence of bonafide legal credentials.

I love the dynamic between father and son here.
I don’t see why Harvey didn’t just send Mike to see a client on a business trip the day of the lecture
Because Louis wouldn't let it go and might escalated the situation
Because that wouldn't stop Louis. Unless Harvey got Louis to agree to letting it go, he'd keep looking for a chance to put Mike and Gerard in the same room.
Then Louis will be more suspicious
Holy gosh that’s a bad argument, Luis has only suspected Mike at this point… if they deliberately dodged Gerald it would have been confirming a suspicion… giving Luis actual deeper motive leading to escalating the situation… so friend, you won’t be passing the bar… see that’s funny cause Mike also didn’t pass the bar…
If you are talking about BEFORE Mike confessed to Louis that he tricked the result, no that would not work because Louis would enquire with the professor whether a student really got the A+. If you are talking AFTER Mike confessed, then yeah obviously Louis would escalate it further, and would investigate Mike thouroughly, only to find out what Jessica found out. The only way to get out of this situation was to make the professor never come, so that Mike remains credible.
"He betrayed the law."
"LAAAWWW"
This is doubly hilarious, because if it was a less serious conversation, Harvey would 100% respond like that.
At the end of the day… Louis always put his blood sweat tears and soul into coming through for the firm, even if he made situation 5x worse 😂😂😂😂 (*cough cough* season 4 with Fortsman *cough*)
Mp
9:27 Mike here knows that louis is chill after all and he thinks he loves him
Why’d the cut the part Harvey acknowledged Luis covering for him. Legit just 10-20 seconds more lol
How did he get Louis to cover without telling him the truth?
@@Burt_Sampson Because he said Mike faked that one grade, not that Mike never went to harvard at all
Crazy how that’s his dad
Is it just me or if Harvey actually handed in his blackmail they could have stopped him from coming anyways as they could disgrace him in the press or something and say they don’t condone having him speak at the firm when he conducts that sort of behaviour 🤷♂️
Harvey was bluffing he had nothing to blackmail him with.
@@misters3681then why did Gerard say "you know" to Harvey?
@@misters3681 if you watched the whole show.. youd know that you are wrong my friend. Its proven in a later episode
Even in this video it's clear Harvey knows and has something, but he has never been going to use it.
@@aMacFanaticsuch statement without explanation
Why couldn't Mike just be "not present" eg a holiday, long distance client, car breakdown etc
I love that both Gabriel’s wife and dad were in this show❤❤❤. It’s also cute that he got to date her too❤❤
The Best show ever ✨
The problem I have with this scene is that Gerard met Mike anyway, and since he knows the rule is "we only hire Harvard grads", he would've said he you've never been in my class, I don't know you. It's the exact same bait the show 'escaped' by having Gerard meet Mike to verify whether he recognized him or not.
THE WORK LOUIS ASKED FROM MIKE IN THIS SCENE IS OF A PARA LEGAL NOT THE WORK OF A LAWYER
GERARD HAS HAD WAY TOO MANY STUDENTS IN HIS CAREER HE WOULDN’T RECALL MIKE SPECIFICALLY
The entire point of Gerard's visit is to recognize a star pupil...can't have it both ways@@tjsherpa
@@engeldernacht41and Gerard doesn’t know that’s the reason Louis asked him to come. he thinks it’s for a lecture.
@@olympiafightclub9982 yeah this is exactly the point
Wait so does that mean Louise. Bailed mike out at the end?
Ironic later in the series they were trying to save the same ethics professor who took 25 Grand to change the grade.
Season 10?
No i think its season 2 but not sure
It’s in the description
8:44 but forgiveness isn’t about right and wrong…I know you value the letter of the law but what about it’s spirit because Mike embodies that spirit…
