Last night, I went on amazon to buy my son a $40 mic for his RUclips videos. An ad for this popped up, and I went down a dark hole, saw this video, and came out the other end having bought this drone 😂 (the Mavic 2 Pro). The team behind this ad killed it.
this video gives me goosebumps every time I watch it this must be the best AD still of 2019 no other drone company will ever come close to this much thought for the future buyer this is why DJI sells more then any other and this is why they stick behind there products and I dont regret buying mine

I'm still using a DJI Phantom 3 Pro ever since 2015. I've probably crashed/sunk/destroyed four of them, but I still keep on buying the same model. Once the Mavic 2 Pro comes down in price/is superceded, I might just pick one up. It comes down to what features you want/need vs price point. I also live at the seaside, so the weight of the 3 Pro means more stability (IMHO)

I don't know what is his student debt, but this ad is not that high quality. The editing is well made, but the cgi is shit, and this is a fact.
Not saying the company should spend more money on it, because it's not necessary for what they are selling. But let's not overvalue an ad, when it's not worth it :)

mavic air is a very good drone ,i also have mavic pro platinum ....mavic 2 doesnt make too much difference as i expected for someone to change mavic pro or mavic air ,for mavic 2 !!One generation after mavic 2 ,would make the big difference ,then i should change my mavic platinum !!!
The Air and these are in different leagues, the Air is smaller and aimed at more budget oriented minds, these new ones are aimed more towards professionals.

Kidneys cost way more than $1450 for a Mavic 2 pro. It really depends on your location, in the U.S a kidney cost over $250,000 while in India it cost $25,000. If you plan to sell your kidney know your price so you don't get ripped off.

I am a ship chaser. Since Mavic 2 Pro debuted, I’ve been challenging flying It to the limit in time and distance on filming large ships sailing on the ocean. Every RTH after completing the mission is a battle with the battery. But it’s been so reliable on controlling the flight in various conditions and capturing high quality footage. In late 2020, I still think Mavic 2 Pro is the best potable drone out there ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm (very) late to the party, but I only upgrade my drones every few years, once the price point comes down. I have multiple hobbies, so I am in no rush to get the "latest and greatest" in something.
I upgraded from a Phantom 3 Pro that I bought second-hand years ago to a second-hand Mavic Pro 2 (had 10 hours on it) and I am impressed by the size and build quality for a hobby drone. The speed is great and the radio range is appreciated. My house backs onto a small cliff face that meets the ocean, so it's ideal drone territory. I will say this though, if you have a Phantom 3 Pro , it still has a few entry-level features, so the evolution is more incremental as opposed to total game-changing (IMHO). If you do have the cash, I would definitely recommend the Mavic 2 Pro. Seeing as its been out for well over 2.5 years, I'm waiting for the next iteration (aside from the DJI FPV). If you can only afford a Phantom 3 Pro (or something in that era) then you're still not missing out.
I will also say, if you buy a cheap DJI copy, then you get what you pay for.....Safe skies
