I use these, they are great when your building a quilt, I keep my pattern, fabric, my scraps and finished blocks in them until I am done with the entire quilt
Yes! They are wonderful for this!!
The clips come off easily but are also easy to snap back on the box. I have dozens of these storage boxes and LOVE them!
They are just really great storage containers! Thanks for sharing!
I never knew about the 2.5" x 24" bins! I've got a ton of strips that have outgrown my bins. I just went to ArtBin and ordered 4. They are $14.99 on their site and they are $16.99 on Amazon. If your order is $50 on ArtBin, the shipping is free, so I got 4 and am getting free shipping. Thanks so much for this video!
You are so welcome! You will not be disappointed in the boxes your ordered!!!
Another couple of uses: I make mostly throws and baby quilts. The 12" flat square bins are the perfect size for my project boxes. I can keep everything in one container as I collect fabrics and other supplies for a future quilt. I stack them together on a shelf until I have all I need and am ready to start a new project. Also, that same size is great for storing and protecting 10" squares.

My favorite ArtBin product is their Super Satchel Thread Organizer. It holds lots of thread spools and keeps the dust off of them. I organize my spools by color from light to dark. As Michelle said, the latches are well-made and easy to open and close. Also, I like that they are made in the USA!
Jeanette, Thanks for sharing!!!
Need to look for that one.
I found some of these containers at Johann fabric store. Coupons make them more affordable.
Yes! That sure helps!
Artbins were one of my “splurges” when I overhauled my studio last year. They’re just great for organizing your projects and stuff. They make me feel “together” and less scattered. Thanks, Michelle!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching and sharing!!
Super satchel. You hit all the points of why I love them too. Quilts in progress to keep all parts together and they stack nice.
Simply great products!
I LOVE they’re made in the USA! Thank you. Those are my favorite too!
You are so welcome!
I bought the ones you recommended for jelly rolls. They are wonderful. After I bought mine , and I’m sure others bought them too, they doubled in price. lol I’m glad I picked up a few of them. They are just about perfect. Thank you for your suggestions. They are always appreciated.
Wonderful!
I love them too!! Got a couple given to me and immediately bought enough for all my fat quarters and scraps!!
Yes!
My favorite kind of storage container is the Sterilite containers from Walmart. I usually get two sizes. One size for storing smaller projects and the larger for bigger containers. The ones I use are also see through.
Thank you so much for sharing! I have some Sterlite containers throughout my house I use for storage. They are mostly the larger storage tubs.
I have some ArtBin containers also, one for 2-1/2" strips and some satchel type. I also have some satchel style bins that I bought at Sam's Club in the office supplies section that stack well with my ArtBins. I use mine for UFOs, WIPs and kits that I've cut the pieces for. They are so handy to keep the cut pieces and patterns/instructions together! Being able to see inside the box without opening it is a bonus too.
Thank you for watching and sharing!!
I love my Artbins and love the handles and all of the same reasons you said.
Yes! They are great!
I use the double deep Super Satchel to store fat quarters. Folded fat quarters fit perfectly standing in the bins and the dividers help keep them in place.
Great idea!!
I bought some at Joanna after Christmas on sale. I have the big flat box and the 2 1/2" strips
I really like both of those!!
After seeing the 2.5 x 24 inch bins on your video I got 2. They are almost full of random strips so time to make a quilt or 2!
Those containers are the best! Now to get started on your quilt!!!
I did not know they were American made/family owned. I am so glad to know that. I love the satchels....and I have some others, too, and love them all.
The latches sold me on these containers!
Joann’s has these 50% off right now. Just a heads up if anyone is interested.
Wow! Thanks for sharing!!!!
I love your shirt! I haven't tried these bins but I like supporting small companies and American made. Thank you Michelle.
You are so welcome! Here is an Amazon affiliate link for the shirt if you are interested: amzn.to/3WxAjKY
I love quilt themed t-shirts!!!
@@thesimplequilter7499 thank you! You always have the cutest shirts on.
I love ArtBin containers!
Yes!!!

Love the art storage containers 🎉❤
Thanks for watching and sharing!
How cool. I have never heard of them before ❤
Great products!
Love art bin containers.
They are wonderful!!
I use sterlite clip box containers for beads, buttons, ribbons and trims.
I do use some Sterile containers around my house for storage. Thank you for sharing!!
I love ArtBin containers, but unfortunately my local Joann’s no longer carries them. I tried to buy some online but they arrived broken so had to be returned. At some point I’ll try to order again.
I had that happen also, but, the company was great to resend them. Keep an eye out at your local quilt shop!
I use iris boxes but I will be checking these out
How do you like the latches on the Iris boxes? I have never used them.
@@thesimplequilter7499 I like them
Instead of foam, I’ve used batting pieces. It seems to work well.
Thanks for the tip!!!
I love, love, love ArtBins - my space is overflowing with stacks of them, but I can see what all of them have and can straight to that project. I did find a new favorite at Joanns that are collapsible. Do you by any chance have a good wool pressing matt that isn't collapsible and doesn't heat up. I tried searching Amazon, but that was overwhelming. I found one on FQS, but pricey
I tried a wool mat; however, i gave it to a friend because I kept scorching it!!!
Any stackable clear containers with sqarish corners. Handles are nice but not necessary.
I used to keep my scraps and yardage in cardboard cartons 😮. Now, it's All in Iris cases, (or other brands), and makes my closet neater, scraps and fabric easier to access, and, the fabric smells better. It's unreal how cardboard can affect fabric. I also use clear plastic bins for threads, embroidery floss, etc. My stash is happier, my closet is, so now, I am also happier.
Thanks so much for sharing!!! I like to hear how others do things!
I have 4 of those cheap floss boxes from 2 people filled with thread on bobbins and those boxes WILL fall open when dropped. One of our daughter’s cats knocked them off the shelf!
Oh no!!!
Any ideas on which container to use for storing 2 1/2” squares?
Could you use the long box for 2 1/2" strips? Not sure if that would work. You can visit their website to see if they have any options you might like. ArtBin has a huge selection!
@@thesimplequilter7499I will check their website
Love these but they are expensive.
They are expensive. I purchased a lot of mine at Hobby Lobby when you used to be able to use the 40% off coupon. Someone said they are on sale (50% off) now at JoAnn's. Maybe that will help!
What is the quilt pattern hanging on the wall behind you in this video?
It was a kit years and years ago from Leila Boutique. It is called Little Miss Sunshine. It came in a kit called a Frivol and it was Frivol #9.
I like these too but the prices are too high for me unfortunately.
JoAnn’s has them on sale 50% off sometimes with a coupon.
@@thesimplequilter7499 oh ok. Good to know! Thank u!!
I have Art Bin with the handles. Use the plastic shelves put the Art Bins on their side. Put a label of the project where the handle is then put my UFO in alphabetical order
Thanks for sharing!!!
I like to store fat quarters in the bigger bins.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing!
Art bin are the best. You get what you pay for.
They are really really nice!

Thank you!
