This seems like a decent low budget alternative to the Tonal and the Speediance, etc. Not so high tech as the others obviously . My concern would be the durability and reliability of the electronics and the build. Seems like these types requires you to become a computer programmer to a degree in building workout programs, tracking progress, etc. No neg.resistance is a deal breaker and it appears gangly when folded up( with the vertical frame). I think Ill skip the programming curve and just get exercising on my Total Gym and resistance bands for now. Still, this machine seems promising esp.in the next generation or two. Thanks Dave for the interesting content and your winning personality!
Any tips or tricks to separate the bases from the plus? I bought the plus a a rowing machine that it functions well for, but I haven't been able to get it apart as I'd like to use the squats function.
I think I will stick with bands. I have door price and it seems that I can do much of what this gives it , expect I have to change bands and not turn a dial. Maybe when I am no longer poor i will hit something like this up. lol
Sorry I'm new to all this. Mind explaining what you mean by negative resistance? Does that mean it's not strong when it comes down like resistance bands?
It's a piece of junk. I'm one of those unfortunate backers of this junk! Do yourself a favor and stay away. Their customer service is the worst ever. They didn't care about anyone during the campaign. They didn't care about anyone asking for a refund. The unit is cheaply made. That backrest thing came with ripped on the side. An A4 paper is thicker than the material they used. App you asked? Even a kid would have made a better app than that. It is also supposed to control the tension of the motor but whatever you set, it's not changing anything. So you have to do it yourself with the knob. It's a junk. But the worst part of it is the customer service and the whole team behind it. Also, they promised to deliver back in December. But I received it last week. There are people still waiting for this junk. so, Stay away from Unitop and everything they will make in the future. I respect to these people reviewing it. But I'm sharing my honest opinion.
Thanks for this thorough video. It’s for sale on TikTok and I couldn’t find any info about the brand.

Thanks for watching
Looks like an interesting system but the lack of any negative resistance totally kills it for me. Thanks for the review.
Yea I feel ya
I have the same Automatic vacuum lol in my work out room.
Awesome in depth review!!! Do you think the lack of "Negative Resistance" can be added with a software update to the device?
I’m not sure
Great idea but with no negative resistance is a massive disadvantage.
Yea I wish it had it

Do youdo one on one coaching for resitance bands. Im also in the atlanta area
Where are you in Atlanta?
How do you get the plus. I have the bottom. But not the plus
Do you still have this and if so how's it holding up
Total Gym... redesign? Thanks, Dave.
You welcome
Looks cool but I'd rather usemy Bodylastics. I bought a bench to enhance my workout with them.

Fair enough

Yes exactly
So basically a "smart" Maxpro gym with only concentric phase on the lifts. And at a lower cost than MaxPro too
thats a good assessment
Yup, wish this was available before I bought the maxpro. This is way better as the resistance on the maxpro is never syncronised side to side
Good video bro Where can I get the plus from?
Same site
Can you bench press?
Yes
