      Haki the boiled cabbage and ugali was cooked to punish us 🤣

      @@swahilifood Aki a little kitunguu and some shredded carrots wouldn't hurt. I'm convinced that it takes effort to make it taste that terrible.

      @Kay Ji It was normal for me too back in the 80s, I was in boarding school during the drought of 84' they served monotonous food
      Breakfast = Sugarless Uji
      Lunch = Boiled cabbage and Ugali
      Supper = Boiled githeri with less beans and visible maggots!
      During school holidays, I appreciated my moms cooking more and up to now I try not waste any food! Even though I now live in a country where they waste more than they eat! So now I buy mostly food products that are almost expiring for 1/2 the price. Eat what we can and preserve what we cannot= Zero waste goal is what we are aiming for.
