Florencio actually realized that phoenix deal no damage to someone who makes armor upgrades, so he reluctantly upgraded his air weapons.
Using a DT to spot for his fleet was genius.
Probes are very suspicious. You can never be TOO sure, even if they are wearing your team colors.

The more you attempt to understand Flo the more confused you end with.
killing that probe was not an 'accident'. That probe had vital strategic intel and could not be allowed to fall into enemy hands.

Pig mentions the cannon placement was "silver league." Where would you place the cannons at a GM level?
You wouldnt place more than one cannon in your mineral line and use the army to defend, I believe is what PiG would recommend.
Chokepoint and base entry is where you place them , and yeah other wise one cannon one battery if you get harassed a lot in mineral line but with 2 base you shouldn’t need any outside of the front

Going airtoss off two bases is never a good idea, Bigblue was dead the moment he decided to do that. The rest was basically Flo playing with his food.
Btw towards the end, Bigblue was floating almost 1600 minerals and 1500 gas. So I wonder what his MMR was, probably a silver leaguer.

Petition to show the MMR of the matches. They seem kinda low level even for gold players. Who forgets to put a cyber core for so long that they just have the money for 2 stargates?
Gold? This is probably somewhere in Masters...
Lol florencio is known to not build warp gates and sticks with stargates because brood war brain.

@@tomhe286 Virtually any diamond and perhaps even high platinum player that I played against has tight enough build orders for the first 2 minutes that they would not panic so hard just because someone is canon rushing them.
After a few hundred games your early game is instinctive, no way he can just forget to put down the cyber core.
Also, they are really aggressive, they won't just sit in their base the whole game. The level of this match was beyond pathetic, if this was diamond then everyone can get to masters with little effort.

Well you can get into master literally with just a drone rush. Its not that high merit.

I should ask Florencio to do a Protoss without the Warp Gate research and play normally as he would do.
He would probably suck at it, just like anyone attempting to do something they have no experience in.
He's already done it or rather he was known for it. Watch the older flo files, for the longest time he REFUSED to research warp gate.
