I know I am late to this party, but I wanted to thank you for turning me on to this product. Using this product has totally changed my hair routine for me and is saving me A LOT of money on Brazilian blowouts. It is easy to use and works better than anything else I have tried to get a long lasting straightness (even in humidity) and leaves my hair feeling very soft without looking greasy. Don’t know what this stuff does that is different from other hair products, but I’ve not found anything else that is even close. Thanks again for the tip!
It’s excellent ! Hasn’t damaged my hair at all and don’t need to use it after every shampoo it does what it says it’s supposed to -I’m recommending it to everyone I know!
I use this every time I wash my hair. I have thin, straight hair so I only use it from my ears to the ends. I live in Florida and it has really helped manage my hair in our humid climate.
I can't thank you enough for this video! I've been fighting with my hair forever. I have the same hair issues as you so it was a no brainer to try this product and your styling method. The results are AMAZING!! I also took your advice and now use Kenra hairspray and you're right..it brushes out easily and even my hair stylist was impressed with how great my hair looked and felt. As if that wasn't enough I also tried the Lansinoh cream for my dry, chapped lips. Nothing has ever kept my lips as smooth and hydrated. I am thrilled with all three products. I found this on my own...and where has it been? I have shoulder straight hair that frizzes in this Texas humidity...and this is the only thing that works! My hair is lighter and frizz-free now. Creates shine too

Thank you so much for this review! I ordered some and it is amazing! I live in Florida where the humidity is around 85% most of the year. My hair is thin and frizzy and is a continuous challenge to even look half-way decent, hair-wise. I have tried it all, but this was surprisingly different. I can even have bangs again and they aren't little squiggles LOL I am beyond thrilled with this product.
I bought this and used it EXACTLY how this video states and I love it!!! My hair is so soft and silky. I will never be without it now.

I was getting my hair colored when I watched your blog, I asked my hair dresser and they had samples, I used it when I blew dry my hair and you are right WOW WOW. my hair was very smooth and shiny and soft. I liked it a lot. I will see if it lasts a few shampoos, but even if you have to apply after every shampoo it is still a great product. Thanks for sharing with us. 😊

I've only just discovered this product and wow and wow.... I have rebellious hair... its curly and dry.... but this product has transformed my hair.... unbelievable.... my hair feels so silky smooth to the touch...... Can you do an update on this product after continued use? I want to buy it but am seeing a lot of mixed reviews and complaints that continued use left hair dry, brittle and caused breakage. As someone with heavily highlighted hair I’m concerned the temporary smoothness isn’t worth the risk. Thank you for bringing this product to our attention and my fingers are crossed you still like it after continued use.

Thank you so much for speeding through but not editing out all of the shots of you blow drying your hair! I find it extremely helpful to see details like how people hold their brush, how they move the brush through their hair and around their head, what angles they use with the brush on each side of their head.... So helpful! Thank you!
I can't tell you how many times I've watched her blow dry tutorials (which are THE BEST) and I still can not master those beautifully straight side swept bangs. Watched this one and got all excited when she got to her bangs because I thought I'd catch something I wasn't doing. Nope..mine always stay flipped up on the ends even when I go right behind and zap them on the brush sideways. It's probably the way mine are cut, I suppose....sigh. She has the most perfect hair ♥
Would you be kind enough to give an update on this product after using it for several months? You have a substantial audience. Given that there are numerous very negative reviews on Amazon by people who first loved the product, now feel it has ruined their hair, I think your opinion on this after extensive use might be received in a very welcome manner. I've used it for 2 weeks running now. I have fine fly away hair. I must admit my hair does feel slightly different. My hair squeaks a bit when wet ???? And I feel i have to be a bit gentle with it. Strange I know but true x

@@ldbagge I highly doubt that she will do an update. There was an issue in 2017 with a very dangerous eyelash growth product that contained prostaglandins that Dominique endorsed. I commented and so did many others. Instead of a response the video was deleted. She cannot be trusted. I was told by another RUclipsr that Dominique was sponsoring and collaborating with the manufacturer of WOW products. It is a well know fact that this serum has a history of problems. I am about to look up the ingredients. I am not a subscriber and avoid this channel. IMHO she is a phony. She has obviously had work done and from her experience as a TV news anchor knows how to use filters on her cameras. She is making money as a sponsor. It's a shame that so many people believe in her.
You may have to try it again. At first I felt it did nothing for my hair, but after watching the video again, I changed my mind. My hair is short so there wasn't much difference with the blow drying, but when I used the straightener, WOW. Give it another try.@@tarawebb9237
I can't believe your hair! It is visibly different. You and I have exactly the same the same type of hair and the frizz factor is always a problem. More so now that most of my hair is grey under my color. Your hair looks like silk in fact, it looks like a silk press that black women get. It's lovely.
I can't decide whether to order this or not because many reviews on Amazon said it ruined their hair. Said at first it was great but then their hair started breaking off. They posted pictures. Don't know if anyone on here knows anything about that. I really hope this is not true because I want to try this product so bad. I feel the same way, and when I read about someone's dog gettig a very bad allergic reaction to the smell of this product I freak out. My dogs follow me everywhere in my house :(.
Amazon is not an authorized seller of this product. You can buy it directly from their website and Dermstore. On their website, www.colorwowhair.com under the FAQ section they have a list of authorized sellers in the US and international. Their customer service is very knowledgeable about all their products, so I would give them a call. I purchased Dream Coat from my hair dresser and have used it for several months with no problem. Dream Coat is activated by blow drying. My hair is color treated (dark brown with magenta fashion color pieces). The bottle shown is $28, but they also have smaller sizes available of most of their products, as well as kits. The Dream Coat has no scent whatsoever. I also own the shampoo and conditioner, hair spray, root lift spray and Kale Cocktail (essentially a leave in cocktail used after towel drying hair and before Dream Coat...one of 3 they make), again...little to no scent. I would start with their website and speak to customer service to see what products might work best with your particular hair. Good luck!

I use WOW and agree 100%. I think I saw this product in a magazine. I’ve been using it for 1 year (as directed) and have seen no ill effects at all. Not having to put up with frizzy ugly beachy-wave hair is worth any dryness. I would rather up the conditioner and care for my hair with more concentration on any brittle areas. I was impressed that I don’t have to use WOW every shampoo as it has some staying power without leaving a heavy residue helmet.

Dominique, can you give us an update after a few uses of this product. Like a lot of subscribers, I read the reviews and they are enough to make me hesitant about purchasing it. I also want to tell you, there is a new product done in salons called Magic Sleek with no harsh chemicals. It straightens the hair and when the roots grow out, that is the only part that not straight. I prefer it over keratin, which I have been getting for years. LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!💄

thank you for the recommendation! Purchased from Amazon last week and it arrived Monday. Tried it on Tuesday and love it! NO frizzes, definitely cut my drying time, and have not needed to wash my hair since. Plus it kept my style... all I've needed to do since then is brush my hair and it falls right into place.

I bought this directly from the manufacturer. I have been using it a few months. I wash my hair every 3 days. I believe you have to buy this from an authorized dealer-Amazon is not one of them. I have curly hair and all I've ever wanted is straight, smooth hair. This product has totally changed the texture of my hair. I can't say enough about it. I'm in love!
Hi Iris - Even though you wash your hair every three days, I was told the product is supposed to be used every three shampoos: wash, condition, use Dream Coat and no other styling products. Next two washes, wash, condition, use your styling products and NO Dream Coat. So, if you wash your hair every three days, you should use this once every nine days or so. I believe this is why there are so many negative reviews from women, they were using it too much. It needs to be used once every three to four shampoos. I have been using it going on seven months with no issues, my hair looks shiny and healthy.

that's why Dominique said the product lasts thru 2 or 3 hair washings. because the ingredients are toxic chemicals that may damage the hair in the long-term. the price for immediate gratification I guess!! Jean
This product has ruined my hair. Like Dominique, I was SOOOO excited the first few uses. After about the third time using my hair started falling out like crazy! I thought it was holy grail. It takes a few times and then BAM....dull, dry, falling out, breakage in the middle of hair. Don’t buy this! I’m so sad my healthy shiny thick hair is done and needs to grow back to be normal again. 😥😥

I just want to say thank you so much to the person who recommended this product to you and thank you so much for doing a tutorial on it because I've been through so many products through out the years and nothing ever ever works everything goes to waste. I bought and finally used this product this past Saturday and OMG!!! It worked wonders my hair never looked or felt better!!! its Thursday now and I'll be washing and I'll keep you updated on how it lasts and how well my hair continues to do until I've got to reapply more of the product again!! With all other products they never last and my hair is so frizzy by the next day 6 days with WOW and no frizz!!! Plus I've been able to go longer in between washes!!! Thanks a bunch 🤩👍😍👍

Definitely want to try this but as I have said numerous times with your other hair tutorials YOU HAVE GORGEOUS HAIR your options are limitless when it comes to hairstyles I've been a fan of your page for years now and there has never been a hairstyle that you didn't rock. Watching you blow-dry your hair is a beautiful thing it always falls so perfect so beautiful.

I have learned so much while watching your videos! I also have a tip I’d like to share. I have battled red irritated eyes and have tried so many techniques and nothing seemed to help, until I learned about washing my eyes with baby shampoo and a cotton ball. Not only has it helped with my eye irritation but it washes off my eye make up so easily! And lastly, I want to thank you for the eye make up tip with, “keeping everything up and nothing below.” I tried the mascara on the top lashes only and did the tight lining on my top lashes under my lid and my face looked bright. Thank you sharing your tips and ideas for great looks!

I bought this after seeing your review and WOW. It really does work. I have long hair and get fly aways or frizziness in the humidity after I do everything to smooth after washing and blowing dry -- go outside and flyaways are there. I didn't use much, I didn't coat each strand, kind of just sprayed throughout semi-dry hair and AMAZING. No frizz yesterday, or today on 2nd day hair and I think that I'll be able to go a couple more days of washes and it will stay frizz free. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. I want to try the other products in this line now. It really, really, really does work in keeping your hair from that cotton ball tip look after walking out into the humid hair. Love it!

Not sure what all of these negative comments are talking about! I have majorly highlighted and frizzy hair and have been using dream coat for probably 6 months and my hair is in perfect condition! I absolutely loooooooove it. And Dominique, your hair looks amazing!

I have long hair and I have great results with the product, I go 4 washes, but I don't use near as much as she just showed. I split my hair in half, horizontal, on both sides and the back. I spray one spray on the split on each side and then come it thru. No frizz, no flyaways, and very shiny!!

Dominique I bought this product on eBay last week after watching your video I received it yesterday tonight I decided to bite the bullet and do it even though I had read some mixed reviews on the product but I trust your judgement and you have never led me astray ,
So tonight I shampooed conditioned and followed your directions and applied the WOW and I can tell you and your followers that it is truly amazing so far so good my hair is very silky and is not Frizzy at all, I wish to that you would do another video in few weeks to let us know your long range thought about it.
Until then I will keep you updated as to how I like the WOW, but for now I’m loving it and my hair feels and looks very healthy and shiny.
So if anyone is thinking about getting it but read the negative reviews do what I did and go for it so far so good. Fingers crossed LOL
From what I was told, it is to be used every three to four shampoos. So, don't use it every time you wash your hair. If you wash every day, use it once a week or even less. I was told it is a hair treatment product, not an every shampoo styling product. That is why women wrote negative reviews. They didn't use it properly. They liked it so much in the beginning, they used it all the time. It's not made to be used that way.
That’s exactly right, I have not Noticed anything negative so far with this product I am only using it once a week and I’m not using a lot of it I have fine hair and it’s doing it’s job so far my hair also has never been this shiny, so I’m a few weeks in to using it and like Dominique said it works great I think you’re right about people misusing, I don’t notice any dryness or breakage
I have color treated hair that is dry and frizzy. I have been using it for six months every other week with no issues. I really believe women weren't using it properly and now are saying negative things. Less is more as they say. Don't overdo it. I love it.

Hi, Dominique: I am so happy that this product is a game-changer for you. I did want to let your viewers know that I tried the product but that it didn't work for me. After two applications, it caused breakage to my lightened, color treated, thick & coarse hair. I talked to my hair dresser about it and she thinks it is because of the high protein content of the product. Anyway, I just wanted to provide an update that unfortunately, it was not a miracle product for me. I'm using It's a 10 Miracle Leave in Plus Keratin deep treatment weekly and am adding in Olapex 3 to repair the damage. I do enjoy all that you do but wanted people to know that if your hair doesn't react well to added protein, this might not be the product for you.

Hi Dominique! Great video as usual! I bought WOWdreamcoat yesterday from my hairdresser and can’t wait to try it! I’ve read all the negative comments below and have a few suggestions. First of all - keep your hair in great condition in the first place. Wash with very gentle shampoo, deep condition once a week (I alternate a moisturizing conditioner with a “keratin type” conditioner (you’ll see protein in the ingredient list), air dry your hair as much as possible instead of using heat on it (I wash my hair at night, put it up in a ponytail on top of my head with a soft velour “pony holder”, then use gel to slick the sides back so they will dry straight, make a few big pincurls with the hair that’s in the ponytail, then in the morning I have a decent style that didn’t involve using damaging heat. Of course on special occasions I will bust out the straightener (with my rotating curling iron sometimes) because nobody’s perfect! Before I use the dreamcoat I am going to use a deeply MOUSTURIZING conditioner and leave it on a good while on the shampoo BEFORE the shampoo using the dreamcoat. In other words - using a moisturizing deep conditioner (not a conditioner that contains keratin or protein) for a few shampoos before you try the dreamcoat should get your hair in optimal shape. My hair is long, blonde highlighted, naturally wavy, and very thick. I’m 59 years old and love my hair long because I can do so much with it. But I’m a firm believer that if you are a “mature” woman like me and you love your hair long - it BETTER be healthy and shiny and beautifully cut and colored with NO damage - If it’s not you’ll just look like an old hag that doesn’t take care of herself. No, I’m not a hairdresser. I’ve just learned a thing or two. Love you Dominique!

I've been using this since September when this video posted - Wow is right!! The version for curly hair must be applied every time you shampoo and what a great difference! I thought it was holy grail. It takes a few times and then BAM....dull, dry, falling out, breakage in the middle of hair. Don’t buy this! I’m so sad my healthy shiny thick hair is done and needs to grow back to be normal again. 😥😥
I really hope she does a review over time, reviews from other places are very bad, from harmful to pets to destroying people's hair.

WOW! and THANK YOU for putting me on to this dream product! I hit late 40s, and my easy-to-manage thick long hair turned into a nightmare of 'lightning bolts' and frizz, and no matter what I tried, so it seemed pointless to spend over an hour styling my hair only to have it look like I hadn't. Living in south FL's humidity only made matters worse. But then -- WOW, sister!!! Yes, it took me almost 5 hours between the shampooing, combing and applying Dreamcoat, the blowing and straightening small sections. But it was WORTH IT!!! I kid you not -- for the first time in over a decade my hair looked BANGIN' FOR FOUR DAYS STRAIGHT! I purchased the Revlon One-Step Volumizer Hair Dryer a couple weeks ago namely because of the lack of nimbleness, and flexibility in my hands. For me to use a brush and dryer more than 2 mins caused pain and fatigue. Tried this tool and I must says it really does a fine job, and th larger handle keeps my hand from cramping up. You do need to dry your hair about half way before using, otherwise it takes way too long. I have menopausal color treated hair that is 100% gray naturally if left undone. The texture of my hair is completely different that it was 10 yrs ago in my late 40's. No matter how expensive the shampoo/conditioner my hair doesn't appear smooth even with products. The Revlon tool has made my hair feel silky again although not exactly like it was, but considerably better. Coupled with WOW it might even do better, but for sure it makes not having to use one hand for a brush, and the other for a dryer a much easier task.
I've been using Color Wow Dream Coat for over six months. I apply it every second or third shampoo. My hair has never looked so good. I have course, frizzy hair and it never got dry or brittle so I don't understands the comments below. I follow the directions and apply it as Dominique did and blow dry each section. People have asked me if I have gotten a Brazilian treatment. It does not dry out your hair or break off. I love it and will continue to use it.
Lucy Buckley I think the folks that are giving bad reviews are using too much of the product or using it too often. Sometimes using more is not always good. I am getting great results with using more infrequently.
I agree. I saw Color Wow's video on Instagram and you take a section of hair at a time after you shampoo, wet it very well with the Dream Coat, pull it to blow dry, and go on to the next section and repeat. You don't dry your hair like you normally do. Also, on the video, they didn't use any other products on the hair and neither did Dominique. So if women are adding anything like gels or sprays or styling products, that can be why their hair is dry and breaking. I have been coloring my hair for 25 years, it's is coarse and frizzy, I use this product every three shampoos without any other products in my hair and my hair looks great. I have been using this for six months with no problems. I showed it to my hairdresser and she is using it on her clients and they are purchasing it now. It has changed my hair for the better - I really do think people are not using it properly. If anyone's hair would have had problems, it would have been mine because prior to using this product, it was dry and brittle. Now it is shiny and silky.
I agree. Having curly, frizzy dry hair my entire life, and trying every conceivable product on the market to fight frizz and humidity, this product is the only one that has actually worked. I now live in Florida where the humidity is unbearable for at least five months out of the year and my hair stays straight and frizz free. I have been using this now for about 4 or 5 months and will keep on using it. Keep up the good work!!

this product is really great. the negative reviews are probably because they are not using it correctly. I have a lot of hair that get weighed down very easily. this product makes it silky smooth

My hairdresser introduced this to me a few weeks ago...wow! It IS amazing! It makes my hair frizz-free and feel like it did when I was a kid - before the colouring, highlighting, perming... After I use it, my hair feels super soft and silky. It is fabulous stuff! Also, if you want to try it, they have a travel size for $10. I got that so I could see if I got the same results at home as she did at the salon. I will be buying the big size next time! I highly recommended this. BTW, I have very fine, straight hair, but it made it so much nicer. :) Also, if you're in a hurry or you shower at night, you can spray it on your dry hair in the morning and then use a flat iron to activate it. Both ways work, but it does work best when using damp hair and a hair dryer.

I use a product that has been around forever,Humectress by Nexxus.I don't use it as a conditioner,but use a nickel size dollap on my long curly hair when it is dry.I learned this trick years ago in beauty school...glorious results!!!I am addicted to the stuff.The more you use it,the better your hair gets.

if this product lasts thru 2-3 washings, I'd seriously take a look at the ingredient deck listing. probably has ALOT of toxic chemicals in it. sounds like nice results to the product, but not if the long term effects damage the hair. thanks, but no thanks. Jean

I would encourage you to contact the chemists at Color Wow and speak with them. I have been using this product for six months on my color treated hair and I've had no problems. It actually has improved my hair! I will continue to use it!

Hi, Dominique! You probably already know this, but I thought I would share just in case you don't. After watching this video and seeing how smooth the Wow made your hair, I started wondering if it could help my naturally wavy/curly be a little less frizzy when wearing it natural. So I took to trusty old Google to see if it could be used on curly hair and discovered that there was a Wow curly hair version! I immediately ordered it and I love it! I have been using it now for a couple of weeks and it definitely does tone down the frizzies!! Just thought you might be interested! Thank you for all your wonderful and extremely helpful videos. I always look so forward to them!
