I've loved everclear since I was 14! Im 39 now and Santa Monica was on the radio 2 nights ago and I sang every lyric ,and my husband looked at me like he never knew I could do that. Santa Monica has always been one of my favorites and I love this video too of Art Alexakis!!! ♥️
Me and my little sister have listened to them our whole lives because of our parent's. I just turned 30 and we celebrated by going to Everclear's anniversary tour. We got to see them in such an intimate setting and I can't believe Thursday night was even real.
Love art. Seen them so many times. Yelled his name at a show in Louisiana. He jumped off the stage came and hugged me for a picture. What a genuine real guy
I used to sing wonderful on my acoustic set list, I played it the other day for my daughter and it's her favorite song now. It's quite exhausting to sing and play, But I'm so excited that she has taken a liking to music that i don't mind
Another great 👍 episode!! Im soooo happy 2nite & enjoying the content!! Another ace in the hole Lisa & Ashley!! Diversing in2 music an excellent move!! Best Wishes 2 ya!! 😁😁😄😄👍👍😉😉 (PS-i agree with the Huey Lewis comment, would love u 2 do an interview with him!! B2TF!!!!❤)
Portland has always been known as a smaller city. But considering it's population & isolated location in the pacific northwest - it has an incredibly fertile music scene. Just off the top of my head i can name a plethora of great portland artists: Pond, Heatmiser, Hazel, Lifesavas, Poison Idea, Decemberists, Pink Martini, Dead Moon, the Minders, Quasi, Stephen Malkmus, No. 2, Audio Learning Center, the Thermals, March Fourth Marching Band, Wipers, Theatre of Sheep, Kind of Like Spitting, Neo Boys, Sleater-Kinney, M Ward, Red Fang, the Shins, Mean Jeans, Sweaty Nipples, the Kingsmen, Paul Revere & the Raiders. And the list goes on & on. But of all the great musicians to come out of the city, i believe 3 names in particular represent Portland's spirit the most accurately as our musical ambassadors: (in no particular order) Elliott Smith, Everclear, & The Dandy Warhols. I'd be interested in hearing from people from other places about what musical artists represent their the best respectively.
