  • How to cook bone marrow. It's a fascinating food that played a role in human evolution. It's super tasty and nutritious when roasted in the oven and spread on toast. I could have this every day.

Just tried it and it was amazing 🤤 didn't have garlic powder for some reason so I kinda burned some crushed garlic in the oven, grinded with salt and black pepper and put in the oven again to completely dry, then put it all over the bone marrow with a drizzle of lemon juice, was a little salty for my roommate but next time I'll use garlic powder

    Two questions:
where do you find/buy marrow bones like this? I've never seen anything like this at the store.
And what would be a good alternative to the baguette to make it keto? Low carb tortilla maybe?

Yes it stores very well and you can use it as butter in sauces. Just scrape it into a container and put in your fridge.

Considering the fat alone in the marrow I wonder if it is necessary to butter the bread? Seems a bit cholesterol overkill for one meal.
