Interesting and informative. As far as salt based nutrients goes, you say to keep the EC between 1.0-1.2...
I presume that's factored from 10, or 100 EC. Could you please elaborate?

      Hello Don,
You are correct! EC is measured in either µS (Microseimens) or ms (milliseimens) where 1MS=1000µS (similar to ml and L)

Taking care of pests.... I've got spider mites and Neem oil is too expensive and water blasting is too injorious. A little more info would be appreciated.

We love using predatory mites, for spider mites specifically Phytoseiulus persimilis from Koppert! The key with controlling spider mites with predatory mites is preventative applications and repeat applications throughout the crop lifecycle. Stay tuned for a video on biologicals in the near future!

Can grow tomatoes in zipgrow towers

      Hello!
Yes you can, however they can grow quite large and wild and you need to be prepared to prune regularly and tie up the plants to prevent the weight of the fruit from breaking the plant. We have had success with some dwarf varieties such as "Red Robin" and "MicroTom"
      Thanks for watching!

I have been in agriculture for eight years, imo those strawberry plants look terrible

      Hello John!
Some of these plants have been fruiting for over 8 months, so they are a little tired. We are more interested in growing healthy fruit than healthy plants though! These plants have given us higher yields and quality than comparable outdoor plants of the same variety
      Thanks for watching!
