What a revelation! I thought that the pumping eighth note bass technique was invented by Manuel Ponce, but I now find that Mendelssohn did it first. Thank you for arranging my favorite Mendelssohn piece for solo guitar.
@@tea-and-guitars As triplets! That WOULD be hard. Have you ever heard the Andante from Sonata Clasica by Manuel Ponce? He just does straight eighths in 4/4. It's fun. I used it in one of my own classical guitar pieces. But.eighths as triplets, especially with a melody, would be very difficult. Congratulations!
Any chance to somehow get a hold of this arrangement? Purchase it? I am moved... Very recently, I was opening the mid-summer play, was improvising on a theme (as unfortunately, did not get a chance to be more engaged, visit rehearsals... is a long story... ) but listening this for the first time, it really got to me, as when did improvise- I was after this music... this type of feeling and sensation, and I don't know.... As I said, I just listen to this for the first time, it struck me, and I don't know if I ever going to play it, as I usually play shorter pieces, with different vibe... but if you somehow share the score, it would be great...
@@mihajlostojanov7311 I could put a digital version on my Etsy. I still have to edit the sheet music. It’s a lot of work. I could put a single pdf for purchase on my Etsy, but in future, when I have enough music, I will make another guitar book
Nicely-done.
That’s just sublime ❤😊

@@rineric3214 it’s a tricky rhythm, they are suppose to be 8th as triplets, which makes it hard with melody.
