    Wow 😲 When did China introduce this luxury train service? I’ve visited over 120 cities and towns across China, and I’ve never encountered such a luxury train experience before.

      I think it's quite new, I only just heard of Chinese luxurious train travel this year, apparently there are numbers of companies doing that in different routes, as the fast bullet train becomes more popular these old slow train carriages were revamped to scenery train with high standards, which is excellent way to give them second life rather than getting scattered

    Just checked the price on the Chinese websites,it costs between $3500 to $14000 USD for a 4 nights trip on this luxury train,and the tickets are often sold out very fast😂

      Have a look on here. It's hard to give a definite cost as there are so many options to chose. As for how to book, you can go through an agent online or book direct through a mini program on WeChat . Just search for 星享铁旅 on wechat

      Yes, you don't just get tickets - Scenic spots, food, your cabin, entry tickets etc. Everything is included in the price!

    I m Chinese and This is my dream train! The Oriental Express of China. It actually goes around all of xinjiang province, I believe the vlogger here only took a part of it. The total price for the whole trip starts from USD5000 to USD15000 for the most luxurious suite I guess. Definitely an exorbitant amount of money

      Yes, I only took a part of it. We started in Dunhuang, visited the Mogao grottoes then got onto the train, ending in Xining!

      还好吧,坐十天的邮轮只是有balcony的仓位差不多也是这个价钱吧,饭还根本无法和这里比。一趟下来能看到这么多偏远的景点,省时省力,不错吗!

    Wear sunglasses and sunscreen lotion when you go outdoors in Qinghai, Tibet, UV light there is very intensive.

    the interior is nice, but they choose the wrong track for that type of train. I mean it looks very traditional and all so I expect trees and view overlooking the mountains where the peak is covered by clouds. So basically living the xianxia fantasy.

      it depends a lot on which area, and the time of year but in big cities its definitely getting better. i am in Beijing for a few days, and the AQI is 27 - Last night could see Orion's belt from the city centre!

      Sounds like reasonable price as Canadian rockies train is double the cost ... Room is half the size and excludes land tours along the way. Putting this on my bucket list. Thanks for the video.
