Thank you for introduction, I've lived in China for 46 years and heard this train for the first time ! hope I can experience it with my family one day !
Wow 😲 When did China introduce this luxury train service? I’ve visited over 120 cities and towns across China, and I’ve never encountered such a luxury train experience before.
I think it's quite new, I only just heard of Chinese luxurious train travel this year, apparently there are numbers of companies doing that in different routes, as the fast bullet train becomes more popular these old slow train carriages were revamped to scenery train with high standards, which is excellent way to give them second life rather than getting scattered
Just checked the price on the Chinese websites,it costs between $3500 to $14000 USD for a 4 nights trip on this luxury train, and the tickets are often sold out very fast😂
I bumped into your video by chance today. You make very nice and informative China travel videos. I was amazed by the beauty of the Silk Road Express, hope I could use it one day. Have subscribed to your channel already. Keep up the good work.👍👍👍
www.nandatravel.com/context_image/file/Silk%20Road%20Express.pdf Have a look on here. It's hard to give a definite cost as there are so many options to chose. As for how to book, you can go through an agent online or book direct through a mini program on WeChat . Just search for 星享铁旅 on wechat
I m Chinese and This is my dream train! The Oriental Express of China. It actually goes around all of xinjiang province, I believe the vlogger here only took a part of it. The total price for the whole trip starts from USD5000 to USD15000 for the most luxurious suite I guess. Definitely an exorbitant amount of money
Sumilar in price to the Shiki-Shima Exclusive Luxury Train in japan. And the sights in China is more amazing. Also the jap train has no majong and karaoke
I booked through a wechat mini program. But you can book through agents online. Nanda travel have a lot of information about it: www.nandatravel.com/context_image/file/Silk%20Road%20Express.pdf
www.nandatravel.com/context_image/file/Silk%20Road%20Express.pdf Check this website for some info on the itinerary. I did the Dunhuang - Xining trip which was 5 days altogether.
thank you for this epic video, could you please say how much cost this part of silk of road , and price and time of trip and if you coming from guangzhou how to make it better ?
the interior is nice, but they choose the wrong track for that type of train. I mean it looks very traditional and all so I expect trees and view overlooking the mountains where the peak is covered by clouds. So basically living the xianxia fantasy.
it depends a lot on which area, and the time of year but in big cities its definitely getting better. i am in Beijing for a few days, and the AQI is 27 - Last night could see Orion's belt from the city centre!
There are a whole load of different trips you can take on this line. I went from Dunhuang to Xining in 4 days. Have a look here for some more info: www.nandatravel.com/context_image/file/Silk%20Road%20Express.pdf
what a high quality video and chanel! It should be watched by more people. Well done! I just wonder how much is the ticket of the train? It's defintly on my list
Sounds like reasonable price as Canadian rockies train is double the cost ... Room is half the size and excludes land tours along the way. Putting this on my bucket list. Thanks for the video.
看了那么多穷游的还是更喜欢富游的

The train is epic! I had no idea something like that is still operational in the world.
These days everyone uses the high speed trains to travel quickly, and the older slow trains can be used for tourism!
This luxury train and the tour are really amazing. Thanks for your video.
Oh my dream is living in a luxury train forever
Simply amazing, the most luxurious train ever and the sights full of history are equally incredible.
This is a very well-done documentary. How come this haven't over 10K Subs??
Keep traveling brother!
Thanks, will do!
Why so few subs and views? Ask YT why hide this from people.
Thank you for introduction, I've lived in China for 46 years and heard this train for the first time ! hope I can experience it with my family one day !
It is a new train called 丝路梦想号
So beautiful and amazing! Really like it. Keep updating!

it's not overly easy to book. through a wechat mini program, just search for 星享铁旅

Yes, you don't just get tickets - Scenic spots, food, your cabin, entry tickets etc. Everything is included in the price!
I knew about the Oriental Express but never heard of the Silk Road Express. Looks fanny!!

Wear sunglasses and sunscreen lotion when you go outdoors in Qinghai, Tibet, UV light there is very intensive.
I'm just back from a trip to Yushu, Qinghai and you're right - even 1 hour in the sun without sunscreen and I was roasted!
I feel like ancient Chinese emperors and empresses would be traveling in this kind of train if it was available at the time 😂😂😂
that's the feeling I got when I was onboard - transported back to the Ming Dynasty!
it definately is a very nice way to travel . Oh my god, it is way beyond my budget. i wish i had more money
