Forgot to mention I turned off the fake "engine sounds" that BMW pumps in through the speakers! Even with that off, the exhaust mod keeps the car loud & aggressive 😈
The car is all you Sai. A girl who talks about revs and has a radar detector. Your a true hero in my book.
The first thing you should is get PPF paint protection film on the front bumper, hood, mirrors, and side skirts to stop rock chips from damaging the paint. Then get the PPF ceramic coated.
That sound so much better than a 4 cylinder , man you can't beat that sound.

Hey, for brake pads:
- if you dont plan to track it - EBC Yellow is more then enough, no brake dust/less squeeking then original and a bit better braking
- if you plan to track it - you will have to change discs as welll, prolly EBC 2 piece floating for extra cooling, pads: ebc blues at the back and eb rpx racing front. Doubles blues is fine as well if u dont track it very hard. Off track I would change to yellows anyway, so two sets would be best.

Very nice car and sounds very sporty. Love the color combinations both inside and outside. Wish I have a bigger house to have one more nice driving machine like yours. Honestly, of all the BMWs I have driven, the 3 series is still the charm, not to mention the M and, especially, this M Competition.
Yeah, I parked and drove next to M4 all I can say is epic.
M4, GT3RS and Huracan really leaves an impression.
Welcome to the Triangle, Sai and to the Bimmer family. I'm driving my eighth straight BMW and also have an M3 Comp. I went with a Remus Axle Back exhaust and an Active Autowerke midpipe which deletes both the resonators and the secondary cats. It's legal, and you will pass your required NC State Emissions Inspection. Sounds aggressive, but at the same time respectable. Translation - you won't get the childish gunshots and only burbles.
I highly recommend you to femto unlock the DME of the car so you can run aftermarket tuning. It will make the car blisteringly fast. Also for mods, I recommend eventuri intake, valvetronic equal length midpipe and remus sport axle back!
I currently own a 2022 430I coupe, I'm going to upgrade to this beast soon!
There's no comparison, this is miles better than a C63 now. Fantastic piece of kit
i own a 2022 330i mSport with over 250 HP which I thought is more than enough and I really enjoy driving it daily to work. Got a chance to drive a friend's 340i, and HOLY FUCK.. that's the car to have!! I regret not buying 340i as it is sooooooo good !
You didn't have to remove the valves. You could've just installed a valve controller that you can remotely fully open or close. I have the VSC-2 valve controller paired with the Dinan X Pipe.
Facts!!! Ceramic Coating is a must….35% is the best
you can get the armytrix valvatronic exhaust and it comes with an up map as well if im right .... not sure tho
since its a valvatronic exhaust .... u can always control the valve opening using the remote ... letting you keep just the amount needed
NICE UPDATE ON THE M4
You should still add the PPF. I did the ceramic.. it does become shiny and all, but small rocks from trucks still chipped of the front a bit. If not the whole car, definitely the front is my suggestion.
you're absolutely right in that a good valvetronic exhaust goes soooo far in entertainment and bringing the car to life!

In UK you can pick a less than 1000 miler up for £65,000 or less. £894 pm with a 10k deposit. High APR. That front grill is nasty though....Id be looking for aftermarket bumper.

Ceramic coat the wheels, it makes it sooo much easier to clean. And if you find some brake pads that gives the same performance with less dust let me know.
Next thing you need is a gps tracker!!! I unfortunately got my 2018 ZL1 stolen starting of the year. I had everything on it except a tracker and I hated myself for that, such a beautiful car and amazing owner who seems to love it! Other than that amazing on how you’ve been upgrading things on it
cool video. i have almost the same m4 (just different interior colors) and after 11000km (~6800 miles) i can say i love the car. one suggestion: try the MDM modus on the M1/M2 settings. it's my favorite modus if i drive over passes and such. it's so much fun, driving curvy roads with some some more power on the back wheels (traction ist not complete off with MDM modus and i still feel very safe). thanks for the tipp on ceramic coation! will do this if it is not to late (willl ask my garage). have fun with your M4!
I am going with the MAD single midpipe with stock exhaust on my G80. If you want it louder, MAD is working on a prototype exhaust currently. NRP has a video of the install and some sound clips.

I did the MAD Single mid pipe and SST Valve controller, sounds great. As far as brake pads, do iSweep 2000s or EBC Reds, ceramic coating helps, but its still a mess.

The brake dust on the oem pads is awful, my tuner put the ceramic pads on and the wheels stay much cleaner.

Looks like you are in Raleigh. I live in Cary. Where did you get your radar detector hardwired at? I have had this exact car and flipped it and have a Lotus Emira coming. M4 comp is a great car by the way.

Hi, Love my G82 also, all those things you've done I've done too! Also added (Wish I could show you a pic), for the exhaust my pick was a VR Titanium "blueish" exhaust, 4 inch straight from the front to the rear from Vivid Racing. This exhaust was very light in weight, my tech guy was impressed, after my BMW tech guy installed it he couldn't believe how LOUD it is. Even when I put it in "comfort" mode, it's LOUD! check it out on the website! My M4s color is Sao Palo Yellow with the Yas Marnie Blue and Yellow interior also carbon buckets. Keep on M4 ing...ALOHA!
AWE would be a good choice as far as an exhaust would go.
N.C. has a higher grade of Octane than California 93, and you don't have all the exhaust restrictions, also the fuel is a lit cheaper, and evenly cheaper in S.C.
Akebono pads for way less dust and still great stopping power

such a good looking car to have that ugly grill. its like a few years ago when camaro relocated the bowtie on the front to the crossbar instead of it being on the grill. it was a subtle move but made the front look ugly
The lease is up soon on my 2021 c63s and I think you convinced me to get the new M4.. Or I may splurge and get a new Nissan GTR😈

My favorite bmw is m3 I agree with have Mercedes on 4 cylinder electric boost took step down on engine should stick with 6 cylinder with electric boost.
