TaeYong is a fan of Afrobeats music and dance. So he choreographed the Nigerian Legwork Dance influence, for the chorus of the song in one hour. The choreo uses a few popular African dances. Taeyong didn't think the chorus choreo was hype enough, so he put together the dance moves and presented it to SM in one hour. SM went with his choreo over the professional choreographers. The reggaeton/afrobeats vibe/sound of this song is 🔥.

great reaction guys. yes, their sound is neo because that what NCT 127 name stands for NEO CULTURE TECHNOLOY. there are my ult group in kpop. their title tracks are great, they are some that are not everyone tastes but b-side are chef kiss. wow you kind of spot on about firetruck. the guys are the young girl's guardian angels, and these angels use fire hoses to flush out the troubles for the girl.
Yall should react to their "Killing Voice" live performance. They do snippits of their hits and bsides live

NCT definitely has one of the best discographies and vocals in kpop. It would be great if you guys could react to their r&b b-sides! NCT 127's discography has many r&b b-sides, so there are so many that I could recommend, but some of my favorites are: Time Lapse, Focus, Back 2 U, Designer, DJ, Crash Landing, Gold Dust, Misty, Love Song, Baby Don't Like It, Love Is A Beauty.

I also agree with Josh when it comes to NCT 127. I love any number of other groups, but there’s something special about 127. Their songs can be challenging at times, but the vocals and rapping are so strong that you end up loving them. They are such amazing performers, and they’re so good looking that I’ve seen people’s jaws drop at the sight of them. Keep having fun discovering their songs, and don’t miss their Killing Voice.
NCT's concept is based on dreams and dreaming. So that is what I think you see being depicted in NCT-127's "Fire Truck" MV --- It all has to do with a dream/fairytale. I kind of see it like Wendy from Peter Pan. The NCT members are kind of like Peter who never want to grow up and always want to stay young, and they are always around to protect Wendy.
The girl in the MV is "Wendy". You see her as she grows up and goes through life and the NCT members are like guardian angels protecting her from all the "fires" (bad things) in her life. When you see them spray the water this is during a moment in "Wendy's" life where something bad or unpleasant is happening and the NCT members are trying to cleanse and fix the situation. The squirt guns represent how they are fixing a small thing -- Wendy is building her castle out of sand, i.e. an unrealistic dream without a solid foundation. As she gets older, it becomes fire hoses because more power is needed to solve bigger problems that take greater force to fix.
But like Wendy, the girl realizes she has no choice but to grow up and go through those adult milestones. In the end, you see her as an old woman and the girl you now see in the yard is "Wendy's" granddaughter. As controllers of dreams, NCT helps to change the narrative in "Wendy's" and her family's lives.
Sobangcha is the Korean word for fire truck.
"Fire Truck" came out in July 2016 and it is NCT-127's debut -- when they debuted they only had 7 members.The members of NCT who were in the"Fire Truck" MV are Taeyong, Mark and Jaehyun (who all also debuted as part of NCT-U with "The 7th Sense" in April 2016), along with new additions Taeil, Yuta, Winwin and Haechan. WinWin is trained in traditional Chinese dance, so he was the one you saw do the flip in "Fire Truck's" routine.

So I agree about NCT. I will always love and support BTS, always. And I adore and fangirl hard over Stray Kids and I love them for their creativity and lyrics and production and for being different. They have amazing storytelling videos. NCT maybe isn't quite as good as some of those things, but it's their SOUND that I'm obsessed with and their R&B flavor. And their dancing and performing. They are super talented, but their voices and harmonies do it for me. So even though BTS and SKZ are number one on my list, NCT is my actual most played on my Spotify and Amazon, lol.
Nct is full of talented people. Not being bias but for me they have the best bsides in the whole kpop
