Finally! We got the opportunity to give you a full tour of a cool custom Double Eagle Sleeper! This awesome machine is owned by Arlyn Workman and it is just a fantastic truck.

I love it..... I was wondering how he had a Double Eagle on such a new truck.... ABSOLUTELY a cool story.... Back in the day when a truck had a large D/E you were big shot trucker..... AWESOME TRUCK.... SAFE TRAVELS....

I started working at Double Eagle in 2000 2 days after graduating High school and worked there until November of 2000 whenever George W was voted in and got laid off. My uncle and I worked in the Mounting Dept and done all the final work before they hit the road. Mainly what I done was cut the back of the cabs out and made the facer board in the cab and final cleaning. I’ve seen some homes roll out the doors

Have you ever done a transformation on a Kenworth? I see a lot of Peterbilt s but never a Kenworth, or even a mack say a mack vision?

Overall length of truck and trailer?
Lets see builds like freightliner, kenworth, international, mack, marmons, fords etc. Something other then the same old peterbuilt!
This truck is functional and good looking without being a 200 inch monstrosity that companys make
Davies Motor Company has the best sleepers, also aerodynamic.
Is double eagle still around ? I’ve heard different things about them . I love the small custom windows in the bunks . Gives them some flair .

why don't they just the rear axles like 2 feet closer for it to be perfectly functional , i know this one isn't crazy but still could've been a lot more convenient and still having that bunker

Yes It's a Beautiful Tractor Trailer and to have and 18 Speed Transmission is definitely a plus because I DO NOT BELIEVE IN AUTOMATICS ! I HATE THEM !BUT I really do not care for the color RED !
This truck is beautiful. But it’s not really practical. you’d have haul special cargo that’s light weight and pays well.

Beautiful rig. Sleeper is sharp. Attention to detail. Truckers aren’t firemen. Fire engine red sucks. You can re- paint.
@@mgp870 you are stating the obvious. Color is personal preference. My Kenworth W900L is butterscotch color. I’ve owned competition Orange, Emerald green, turquoise, Kelly green, canary yellow, sky blue, and pale rose, royal blue, and raspberry. Colors other than red, white, and black are attractive and get way more compliments than fire engine red. I’ve seen thousands of fire trucks but fire trucks are not the substance of my opinion.
45 degree angle on Kenworth sleeper roof is more aerodynamic
Be better if it was a Kenworth with windows in the front of the sleeper. Nice rig just the same.
