17:27 I wrote a long post about this but then deleted it yesterday. I think with tripleS the real difficulty is learning all the terminology. I also wonder if the "feeling" of "kpop eras" is also a matter of youth (time often seems to go by more quickly, the older you get), the novelty of kpop as a new fan, and the way content wasn't so prevalent. So glad we’re starting to recognize how amazing 2022 was for kpop. It was definitely one of my favorites and life was actually at its prime for me so it’s very memorable. Nayeons solo that quite literally everyone was and still is obsessed with, aespas Coachella and USA promotions with girls, ive love dive and after like, gidle with tomboy and nxde which I was absolutely obsessed with, le sserafims debut and anti fragile, newjeans debut that shifted the industry, the legends girls generation came back, twice with ttt literally get flashbacks when I hear it play, bts’s ptd concerts and their comeback before the military and of course blackpink with born pink which is still a staple for me because I got to see them live! So much enjoyable music, cool events and different concepts came from 2022 and it will remain an unforgettable year for me. Hopefully with bts’s discharge, newjeans comeback after a break, blackpinks comeback, 2NE1 COMING BACK OMGGGG, etc. 2025 could potentially become a new prime era :) 🙏🏼
im slowly getting into tripleS and was so excited to listen to you talk abt them! if anyone in the comments has any analysis/review vids to recommend, id be very grateful!
I cannot suggest Ben Atmos' two videos enough."Explaining ALL 24 tripleS Members Like It's A Sorority" and "How tripleS Became The "LA LA LA" Group" are a must watch
The way this video feels like me throughout my k-pop experience but if i can add one thing I'll definitely add I've IVE album cuz this album is a definition of a perfect full length album filled with hidden jems with multiple genres and overwhelming songs which is impossible in today's generation of k-pop where albums are filled with fillers and concepts are rushed Anyways tysm for the video ❤
I'VE IVE was the definition of you had to be there. The hate train leading up to it, the controversy with Liz's lines in kitsch and the overall hate for the song, the album release, the amazing I AM mv, the Wonyoung airplane meme, the luxury aesthetic.. I miss it
Winterosy, I’m so glad you gave the time to explain the impact and potential of triples. I’ve never had a group that I would want more to succeed. They have made my favourite releases every year and have the most listenable music ever. I think they should get the recognition for making something so unique to follow. Thank you
2022 was the year people finally recognized how powerful is GG music (it was about d4mn time, world). But for me, the strongest creative flow arrived in the dawn of Billlie: a group with assertive risk as their artistic trait, with one of the weirdest debut TTs ever in RING X RING, to be followed with the unapologetically fun and quintessential Kpop Gingamingayo, and then, the pop-punk flair full of confidence of RING ma Bell. Like RV on steroids, in less than 10 months, or a year and a half if you wanna close the circle of the billage of perception and EUNOIA. Amazing stuff, and after the world tour, can't wait for them to comeback as a full group. Also, Red Velvet appearing twice in this video seems so so so right. The best of the best.
Your videos give me chills every time I watch them. You make kpop seem so much more than what it is. I’ve been slowly losing interest in the genre but your videos reignite why I started loving kpop in the first place. Love your channel so much 🤍🥰
this video is amazing. it perfectly represents the essence of being a k-pop fan and how music can create an impeccable form of art. i’m even happier as a fellow reveluv seeing how red velvet is being mentioned by you here! :D
I don't know how much time you spend to make a video from raw idea to final video process, it is probably a lot but at the end you really make it look easy. You don't over exaggerate. Just go with simple explanation and straightforward to your points. Song choices, footage choices, editing everything on point. Your videos do deserve the wait. To put it into one sentence, I click on your video fully knowing I will be satisfied by the end of the video. And I thank you for it.
You just had to be there…and I feel so lucky that my adolescence coincided with these iconic eras. I got into Kpop at the same time you did-2016, Wings. A whole world unfolded after that, like Blood Sweat and Tears was the key to the Kpop kingdom. Each era you covered was exactly how I experienced it too. This video just made me intensely nostalgic and instantly reminded me of that time period. You don’t know you’re living in an iconic era until it’s past-might as well enjoy it while it’s here!
to me an era is a reference, its a very specific memory glued to a very specific nostalgia. its a special folder marked with a gold star among all the groups and comebacks we have. for me its like THE moment in a career i think of first/most often. such as nct with empathy and resonance, blackpink with dddd, seventeen with aju nice, etc. it’s something i use as a reference for what these groups can bring us.
My first ever comeback was The boys by SNSD... to say i was blessed knowing KPOP since 2011 and living in a day by day with such bangers of that year was A BLESSING and for me that was AN ERA in kpop history
I’m impressed by your dedication towards this channel. I’ve noticed that you’ve began to upload more frequently and let me be the first person to thank you for doing so.
choked up a lil when you started talking about perfect velvet, red velvet and that album in particular mean so much to me, truly is the best kpop album of all time imo
this video is the best thing ive ever seen in my life.. the transitions.. the EXHIBITS nonono its all soo fkn perfect i got chills everytime u showed an exhibit and picked the perfect section of the instrumental... CHIEF KISS
I genuinely appreciate the professional production value of the videos you make. I feel like im watching a documentary. Really makes me take the things you have to say to heart.
I think for me enhypen’s dark blood was such an era with orange blood as continuation and in a way to end that era perfectly to start a new era with romance: untold. Like it is so well planned out. They started fully being immortals and vampires and even released darker songs with the albums with orange blood being a perfect mix between romance: untold and dark blood delivering songs of both light and dark genres and then r:u with the whole mortals, humans and mainly the theme of love matching it perfectly with soft songs.
The production in this one video, like, HELLO? its like you did a research or wrote alot before even going into the editing its just so beautiful the music the videos carefully chosen and the transition??? so beautiful you literally kept me on edge to know whats next, also the way you described each ''era" was so amazing, your video is so inspirational from a creator's pov (though im not one yet but i aspire to be). keep going i rooting for you!!
i can never stop talking abt tripleS and their discography. their music is just so good and so different. i mean like yea there are bunch of other ggs out there that make music like tripleS but no one can do it like them. it js makes so much sense when you see why they are a big grp. they have so much potential but ppl dont even stan them bc of their size which is quite unfortunate. and tbh i dont even know anyone in the grp other than 2-3 members myself. but their music is js so over the top and easy to listen to. ion know a fck abt the grp but their discography? i can yap abt it all day.
this seriously had me tearing up. your kpop experience is so similar to mine and everything you said hit home fr. i started in 2014 and was a bts fan then, but wings was really a transition, and you could feel it. thats when i knew bts would be big, in kpop at the very least. and then the same feeling with seventeen! you had me screaming when red velvet showed up, words cannot describe what perfect velvet means to me, it really is perfect. and then LOONA? dont get me started. INCREDIBLE VIDEO as usual
i rarely comment on videos but this one left me speechless, i related to almost all the things u said and this video just reminded me why i love kpop so much and made me even more appreciate the art of it
With eras, i always think back on some of the edits or artwork I've seen that use the concept of placing idols side by side with past depictions of themselves throughout the various comebacks they've done. For some groups, the scope of what concepts each has tackled are so distinct, that the eras as characterized by their respective styles allows a group's versatility to shine through the years they've been active. Like marking waypoints in an idol's journey and development. I can't help but really appreciate those kind of works
Your videos are always beautiful to watch, theyre cinematic and give me chills usually every single time 😭 keep making videos like this please they keep me alive
The way i immediately subscribed at the first second, with yr incredible editing skill, and the font choices, yr amazing narration delivery, the build up great quality music from BTS, NCT, and RED VELVET, and the anticipation just hit me when the 2018 segment started, boy oh boy did i smiled from ear to ear 🥰😆🤗 when the beat dropped at 8:50, KNOWING VERY VERY WELL, LOONA gonna get a special mention. That aside, I'd knew yr great taste span even further out to the very start of 5th Gen, tripleS with their incredible music, and original sound. Exquisite taste! We stan harder than before. Though the girls are no longer in a group, but as a forever Orbit, we'll keep manifesting that OT12 will make its apparent return!
15:10 While NewJeans might not be directly comparable, Young Posse is another group with a well-defined artistic direction and vision. Their concept is truly inspired and you can tell that the girls are loving it!
You have me strayed. Winterosy, Your videos seriously are like a well crafted movie, I sit down everytime and watch in silence. I seriously love your narrations, it almost feels poetic, you have seriously inspired me and even have changed the way I think about things within Kpop, you are seriously the best K-Tuber out there!🥺💝
Videos like this is why I love being a K-Pop fan and also the commentary surrounding it made by other K-Pop fans themselves; you don't get anything with this kind of video editing and attention to details on videos in this platform that are about videogames, movies, etc. It's truly something I would've never experienced elsewhere if I never gave this genre a chance and for that I don't regret doing so.
this was genuinely an amazing watch. as someone who only recently started watching, this was SO fun to watch! i had no idea who half of these people are and i still was on the edge of my seat. ate
I’ve been listening to Kpop since I was only a few months old as my friends mom would babysit me and played it all the time. I grew up listening to Kpop more than I did any other type of music and what changed how I see Kpop music is the love yourself trilogy by bts. I was 16-18 at the time and had lost my mom a few years earlier. If it wasn’t for the love yourself trilogy I might not be here today. And it may sound dramatic but I’ve learnt alone from bts since 2016, I’ve been a fan of bts since their debut but I truly became an army in 2016/2017. And because of them I’ve met so many new people and I’m no longer seen as the weird girl who obsessed over a music genre that I can’t understand bc I don’t speak the language. Not to mention the way learning new Kpop choreography has relit my passion for dancing.
I still remember my brother obsessing over Blood, Sweat, & Tears when it came out. I wish i was already an ARMY back then. WINGS was an era i will always regret not witnessing as a newer fan.

2025 could potentially become a new prime era :) 🙏🏼
starting with WINGS just makes total sense, that’s how you establish an era
One of my favourite artist era is IU's Lilac and SEVENTEEN's Face the Sun
You just had to be there for Face the Sun 🤧
Face the sun was ICONIC
I hate myself I didn't become a carat in fts era I HATE IT
Face the sun was something else
im slowly getting into tripleS and was so excited to listen to you talk abt them! if anyone in the comments has any analysis/review vids to recommend, id be very grateful!
I cannot suggest Ben Atmos' two videos enough."Explaining ALL 24 tripleS Members Like It's A Sorority" and "How tripleS Became The "LA LA LA" Group" are a must watch
The way this video feels like me throughout my k-pop experience but if i can add one thing I'll definitely add I've IVE album cuz this album is a definition of a perfect full length album filled with hidden jems with multiple genres and overwhelming songs which is impossible in today's generation of k-pop where albums are filled with fillers and concepts are rushed
Anyways tysm for the video ❤
I'VE IVE was the definition of you had to be there. The hate train leading up to it, the controversy with Liz's lines in kitsch and the overall hate for the song, the album release, the amazing I AM mv, the Wonyoung airplane meme, the luxury aesthetic.. I miss it
i started sobbing when loona came up and full on crying at tripleS T-T they're truly my forever groups
The editing gets me every time its soooo good 😫
you're so cinematic idk how to explain it i love your videos please don't die
Your videos give me chills every time I watch them. You make kpop seem so much more than what it is. I’ve been slowly losing interest in the genre but your videos reignite why I started loving kpop in the first place. Love your channel so much 🤍🥰
YOOYEON MENTIONED
this video is amazing. it perfectly represents the essence of being a k-pop fan and how music can create an impeccable form of art. i’m even happier as a fellow reveluv seeing how red velvet is being mentioned by you here!
You don’t know you’re living in an iconic era until it’s past-might as well enjoy it while it’s here!
everybody say 'thank you winterosy'. he has come back, he is consistent, he's so true, he is an icon.
tripleS mentioned i loved them so much
to me an era is a reference, its a very specific memory glued to a very specific nostalgia. its a special folder marked with a gold star among all the groups and comebacks we have. for me its like THE moment in a career i think of first/most often. such as nct with empathy and resonance, blackpink with dddd, seventeen with aju nice, etc. it’s something i use as a reference for what these groups can bring us.
My first ever comeback was The boys by SNSD... to say i was blessed knowing KPOP since 2011 and living in a day by day with such bangers of that year was A BLESSING and for me that was AN ERA in kpop history
I was a different person after i heard I Just, i have my critiques for The Perfect Velvet but man...that was THE moment
I’m impressed by your dedication towards this channel. I’ve noticed that you’ve began to upload more frequently and let me be the first person to thank you for doing so.
THAT CHANGE FROM NCT TO LOONA WAS CRAAAAAAZY SO TRUEE
You put that into words so accurately and yet it's beautiful
you kinda (absolutely) ate with this omg.
can't wait to see more tripleS on this channel !!
Yooyeon as the thumbnail tho🤭
This video is so beautifully done, it's crazy!
0:32 CLC MENTIONED
WE GO UP HELICOPTER 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Where??????
Yooyeon thumbnail and a whole tripleS section as the ending??!? You ATE
choked up a lil when you started talking about perfect velvet, red velvet and that album in particular mean so much to me, truly is the best kpop album of all time imo
this video is the best thing ive ever seen in my life.. the transitions.. the EXHIBITS nonono its all soo fkn perfect i got chills everytime u showed an exhibit and picked the perfect section of the instrumental... CHIEF KISS
I instantly clicked, because of Yooyeon on thumbnail, and I'm not regretting it. Thank you for this amazing video!
They started fully being immortals and vampires and even released darker songs with the albums with orange blood being a perfect mix between romance: untold and dark blood delivering songs of both light and dark genres and then r:u with the whole mortals, humans and mainly the theme of love matching it perfectly with soft songs.
your video essays are so well crafted it’s amazing
I love how for each era the editing style and music changes up too, it’s really thought through
The production in this one video, like, HELLO? its like you did a research or wrote alot before even going into the editing its just so beautiful the music the videos carefully chosen and the transition??? so beautiful you literally kept me on edge to know whats next, also the way you described each ''era" was so amazing, your video is so inspirational from a creator's pov (though im not one yet but i aspire to be). keep going i rooting for you!!
i can never stop talking abt tripleS and their discography. their music is just so good and so different. i mean like yea there are bunch of other ggs out there that make music like tripleS but no one can do it like them. it js makes so much sense when you see why they are a big grp. they have so much potential but ppl dont even stan them bc of their size which is quite unfortunate. and tbh i dont even know anyone in the grp other than 2-3 members myself. but their music is js so over the top and easy to listen to. ion know a fck abt the grp but their discography? i can yap abt it all day.
I was a tripleS doubter at one point nowadays im obsessed with them and they're my ultimate group 😂
this seriously had me tearing up. your kpop experience is so similar to mine and everything you said hit home fr. i started in 2014 and was a bts fan then, but wings was really a transition, and you could feel it. thats when i knew bts would be big, in kpop at the very least. and then the same feeling with seventeen! you had me screaming when red velvet showed up, words cannot describe what perfect velvet means to me, it really is perfect. and then LOONA? dont get me started.
I seriously love your narrations, it almost feels poetic, you have seriously inspired me and even have changed the way I think about things within Kpop, you are seriously the best K-Tuber out there!🥺💝
THE EDITING ON THIS VIDEO ATE oh this was so good.
Not to mention the way learning new Kpop choreography has relit my passion for dancing.
the tripleS section is PERFECT! they carried the slogan the idol of all possibilities to their core and have been changing the game since then
“WINTEROSY IS ACTIVE!!!” We all say in unison
Perfect Velvet is probably still one of the, if not the best, kpop album ever released. It's literally timeless
Damn, this felt like a docmentary, couldn`t belive it was just 18 minutes long. AMAZING WOW ♥
The CINEMATOGRAPHY 🤌🤌
I still remember my brother obsessing over Blood, Sweat, & Tears when it came out. I wish i was already an ARMY back then. WINGS was an era i will always regret not witnessing as a newer fan.
Oh the tripleS mention 😭🖤 they're not appreciated enough and i rarely see people mention them
WAS WAITING FOR LOONA! ur so right and we thank you
every time I watch one of your videos, I feel very grateful for being a fan.
2:39 THIS PART IS LITERALLY ME WHAY
