Noah here! Thanks Geek Climber for making these awesome data videos every year - and for all of your incredible content! I will be the first one to say that my channel grew unpredictably & insanely fast thanks to the youtube jet-fuel that is shorts. I had no idea that some shorts would go so viral and still to this day feel like an imposter - but I've just been trying to keep up and do my best to put out new videos that I love. I still primarily am a shorts creator and have been trying to venture into long form content - but shorts subscribers don't transfer over so easily to watching long form content (oh well). I still feel like I have so much to learn and am honored that you even put me on this list with the incredible climbing creators on this platform!
This morning is the first time I've ever heard of Noah Kane. Likely because I don't watch shorts and I prefer watching longs. Great work, Noah. Keep sending!
Hey Noah, thanks for stopping by! Your work is great! I know it’s not easy to perform well in shorts at all, so you definitely got something special in you. Keep it up and go get that million subs!
Amazing how many great creators there are in the climbing space now. It's awesome that we get to watch all this cool content of a sport we all love so much, for free!! Looking forward to more great vids in 2024 everyone 🤙
Cool vid, I'm hyped to have made it onto the spreadsheet lol. Also, I think Reel Rock has like 166k subs, in case you plan on making more of these in the future.
RUclips works in mysterious way (or not). I watch a lot of those channels, also smaller ones. Also climbers who focussed more on calisthenics for a while. But I have never heard of or instantly forgot about Noah.
Looking at his view counts something suspicious is going on with that channel, he has a lot of subscribers but barely any views relative to it. Even his most viewed videos have fewer viewers than he has subs
Sour grapes. The guy is killing it and makes the "pure climbing" content creators look inferior. I'd argue that Magnus' content is all climbing relevant, it's all climbing training and fitness. He does challenges as a climber to see how he performs in other segments. It's good climber content.
Just for those commenting on the "qualifications" for being included here - I am not a climber, but a calisthenics guy, and the only two channels I have heard of (and/or subscribe to and/or have ever viewed) are Geek's and Magnus'. I am not likely to look at the other channels referenced here, or to subscribe to them, after seeing this (but I did find it interesting, so thanks Geek). Not sure what that all means, but perhaps it tends to support the basis for Geek excluding himself and Magnus? Anyway, kudos to Geek for doing this, and for all his support of climbing (and calisthenics).
It's a real shame that Eric's channel has been such a staple in the climbing youtube world for so long, and yet this video just tracks him getting continually overtaken in popularity despite consistently producing great content, with a crew of super strong and personable climbers. Bummer. Hang in there brother! Also this is my first time hearing of NoahKane. How is that possible?
Noah Kane is fun to watch but clearly his varied nature sojourns aren't 'pure rock climbing content' compared to climbers like Adam Ondra. And not only Noah, Magnus obviously also relies on a lot more diverse content than climbing. Adam's climbing focus seems more consistent, same with WideBoyz
I should just not write comments before watching the full video smh🤡 trying to be not to much of a hater but, I don't know about other channels but neither you nor magnus has pure rock climbing content, I assume I understand the title wrong but if not this is just plain incorrect. besides climbing videos, you make calisthenics videos and magnus makes strength testing and ninja warrior videos. you could have left out the pure and it would be right. regardless of accuracy, very interesting and well made
Magnus channel IS pure rock climbing .. everything he does is climbing related even the fitness elements. To suggest otherwise is somewhat disingenious in my eyes
well, it may not be purely, but it is mainly. I am sure he inspired thousands or 10s of thousands to try climbing out. It is probably the channel that popularized climbing the most. So having a statistic without him, feels kind of petty
@@ДимитърИванов-д3ш You can read right? Because if that's the case you can just read your comment, then read the title of the video and see what you're missing.
@@GeekClimber Ondra recently did a collab with a MMA fighter & has past collabs with a cyclist & powerlifter. Does that mean he's not a pure climbing channel? I'd definitely count you as a climbing channel btw
Ondra did those collabs “as a climber”. Don’t think any fighters or cyclists decided to sub to Ondra because of those videos, his subscribers are still most likely 99.9% climbers. On the other hand, for Magnus and myself, to be fair a good percentage of our subscribers are not climbers.

Honored to work with you again man and congrats to Adam & Noah for reaching 500k !!! It’s great to see the sport we love continue to grow 💜🫡 🔥
Thank you so much again for the great music! It was awesome working with you!

Excluded for lack of climbing content

I'm surprised Noah has 500k+ subs given that almost all his videos are below 100k views and he rarely posts 🤔
The power of youtube shorts

Doing Magnus dirty!
LOL
Noah gives great climbing advice like: if you're nervous when leading, don't be
Lol so true
