It's all good, Uncle Josh, Keanu seems to be a really humble, down to Earth, honest, and sincere guy in person. He treats his fans with respect and appreciates their energy. All of those films you mentioned are good, but to me he'll always be Ted Theodore Logan, dude!
Those tie downs will come in handy when Uncle Josh spends the night & has one to many Barley Pops. Tie him down to the guest bed so he won’t fall off & hurt himself 😂 or keep him from wandering around the camp site during the night 🤣. Always love the patio for sitting on & drinking coffee while watching the sunrise at the lake. Keep’m coming
I have the bigger sister of this .. fuel 287…. A 2022 model (build date 02/22) .. we full time in it. Absolutely love it.. patio we use daily.. coffee mornings / bourbon evenings…. Zero issue after 8 months of full time.. towed over 8000 miles. Torque and Fuel are built on the same line.. patio down backed up to a pond or river even beach, is livin life ❤️❤️❤️ Issue, huge camp window bakes you in the summer. We use reflective insulation stuff during the day on the top part of that huge window to stop some heat.. and wish it came with 2 a/c’s …. I would love a 12v compressor fridge instead of the 2way.. back in the day not to long ago. A toy hauler was just that, that happen to be kind of a camper,, now a Toy Hauler is a camper that happens to be a toy hauler.. 8 ft ceilings .. 102 inch wide body. 16.3 ft garage .. love mine so far! things id change though. 1. a 12v fridge option with solar package 2. bigger vent fans ..we did swap all 4 of ours out to maxx air vent fans 3. solid step style entry steps.. 4. better outdoor speakers my T-26 has 2 fuel tank's for fuel 1 for our rzr xp 100 4 seater the other is for the generator like the one in the video. our toilet is porcelain not a plastic one was that way from factory tis a bit tongue heavy , but i have a 3/4 ton truck kitchen is great the extra fresh water capacity is awesome! doesn't feel cramped when rear door is closed and family is inside awning is perfect size I think .. great review once again my man
I like this a lot. The versatility, the on board fuel generator. I can see this being the ultimate for boondocking which used to be what we did most. I like the two way fridge too. Our new rig has a 12volt. We haven't taken it out boondocking yet but, frankly, it concerns me a bit. We have some solar and a generator for back up so will see how it goes. TMI? Sorry 😅
With a generator installed I would prefer the 12 V refrigerator just for the extra storage and I don’t need the propane to run the refrigerator. I would also want a maximum solar package on it that would enable a 3000 W inverter so that I could run one of the air conditioners off grid
Thanks for doing a Toy Hauler/SUT review! I really like this unit. I love having the slide in the kitchen common area. Unfortunately, my outdoor storage building was built with 12' doors. Sigh..
As an owner of a 2021 T26 I can say it is a great layout. Regarding the patio doors - I’ve seen GD owners selling the doors - they do not seal at the bottom/top so bugs get in & air conditioning out. T26 Ramp is not waterproof. Love the ceiling fan. Wish it had a tootsie toaster for cooler weather camping. In all we are very happy with the build. We carry a Goldwing trike in our SUT.
Walton I’m considering a used 2021 t26 but you mentioned a tootsie toaster? Is the t26 not equipped with the article winter package? Like a 3 season trailer with heated under belly and insulated walls? If not I’m going to have to consider the Stryker 2613 equivalent model.
We saw a toy hauler that was use to have 2 freezer so the 4 dogs can have their frozen ''fresh'' meat. At that time we were hauling 2 motorcycles on the back of my husband tractor van and pulling our 21' travel trailer. We were jealous of the toy hauler without toys!!!
My best friend's have four four-wheelers and a side by side. They haul everything to the mud park on a trailer but they do have a fusion fifth wheel toy hauler. We like calling it toy hauler because those are our toys. They don't use the toy hauler for the bikes, they use them for their three great danes.... And, of course, for friends who need a place to crash.
Since Torque/Stryker are on our shortlist, I did a little digging and there are folks on forums that have installed the 3 season patio doors aftermarket. So I'm guessing the door size does work, even if not from the factory. I wish I could double-check that somewhere though....
Those are on my short list as well. Which one did you end up with and why? Someone in the comments said the t26 was cold. Not good for winter camping I’m guessing. Stryker has artic type package. Anyway looking forward to your response.
Nice. This is the 1st toy hauler I've seen with a good kitchen. Plenty of counter space. I like it better than the Jayco yesterday. Day before? Great window coverage! I don't have toys to haul, but I've always appreciated the versatility of it. The amount of sleeping space is a big bonus. Yes, Herringbone pattern. I didn't know they made jumbo showers. I really don't like the 2nd door on the bathroom, to the bedroom. Especially if you are somewhere with other people camping with you. Those doorways always seem like a waste of wall space. A towel rod would be a much better option. I agree, everyone would hang out on the ramp patio. When you were talking about not able to get the closing doors on this one, I started wondering...if you are going out of the campsite for the day, do you have to move everything into the trailer and put the ramp up to secure it? It doesn't look like there is an awning over the patio. can one be added? And a modification question. Since I will travel with a dog, what do you think about putting a fence or half door (to block the Shepard in at night) across that open area? I'm not sure I'm explaining what's in my head.
I'm curious; is there anything along the lines of a normal travel trailer with a fold out patio? Maybe 20-30ft in length. I've been searching and all I see are 5th wheels or full on toy haulers?
@@JoshtheRVNerd Ish! I like it! I may have to train up to pulling something that size. I'm confused why they wouldn't put an outdoor shower hookup under that sink in the back for spraying down the kids and critters before they get all of the way out of the mud and back into the RV. Imagine if Ember had that on the back of their bunk-house/cargo models. Being able to double-fold the back out for a larger porch with the three seasons screening would make an impressive and maybe unique feature for getting far more "out of the dirt but outside" space for camping where there are no slabs.
We are considering a toy hauler for traveling for our son’s kart racing … and maybe to attend race weekends at places like Road America (throw a golf kart in the garage for that)
I have been researching to find our retirement RV for SEVERAL years and only recently started considering an SUT...toy hauler TT. It will be probably another 5 years until my husband retires and by THAT time, maybe I will find "the one". We currently have no 'toys' (and may never have any) but other considerations have led me to this avenue. First and foremost is my husband is 6'7" tall. MOST fifth wheels make it very cramped if not impossible for him to stand in the upper deck(s). Most TTs and motorhomes make it very cramped if not impossible for him to stand at all! We've found a few with taller ceilings but they are still cramped for him. We plan to travel a lot so we think we will need something with a higher cargo capacity and storage that is easier to access. Toy haulers make it super easy to store a grill, chairs, tables, canopy, screen room, etc. when traveling. We need functional for the two of us and our two pups. We don't need luxurious and/or pretentious. Toy haulers tend to have larger tanks and often solar so that we will be better prepared for boondocking. They often are equipped with fridges better adapted to dry camping. So far, the majority have great camp view windows. We love our fifth wheel but I had to ask myself "Do we REALLY want to be dragging 7-11 tons of trailer around the country?" Not to mention, I really like the idea of having the patio up off the ground where it will be less likely for critters to invade the space when we are trying to relax! This model may not be the one we choose BUT I certainly appreciate your videos that thoroughly cover the RVs pros and cons so that I get a better idea of what to look for!
Smaller and Taller is hard to find.. and with the way you need to step up into a shower the height of the toy hauler ceiling DOES make sense for someone of his size Who knows what'll be available when the time comes for you, though. PLENTY could change by then!
We looked for a "toy hauler" just for the storage space. If they could just make them with full timers in mind, maybe we could find one that marks the boxes.
@JoshtheRVNerd We haven't looked at them. We will. The Keystone we bought has turned out to be a lemon. We got a 2022 29RKS that needs more repair than a 10 year old rv. Beyond disappointing with the craftsmanship of this rv. Thanks Uncle Josh! I appreciate you
I went to see if the MFG had that on their website and do not see this model listed anymore. And without one on hand I'm unable to hop out to measure for you. Apologies. If one of our stores has a model remaining in stock, then they could verify for you

Tow with my new Silverado 1/2 ton with 5.3 V8 .. helper springs and air bags. Heavy trans and oil coolers.. pulls ok.. but 3/4 ton is safer and smarter.. looking for 3/4 ton that won’t break the bank ugh…

Re: using a SUT for purposes other than hauling a toy: I'd love to talk my SO into a toy hauler for the heavy suspensions, generators, fuel tanks, etc, but the interiors are so... "utilitarian," she will never go for it.
I don’t like the plastic curtain that rolls up, you can’t see thru them. Would be nice to look thru out on a rainy day. Last year I saw a ATC toy hauler that had a weatherproof room with windows on the toy hauler deck. Worked out nice for the guy. Rained all week. Since many of your readers want a DC fridge, if they have the money couldn’t Bish’s swap one out. I know another RV dealer in Oregon does the swap.
alternative use for toy hauler..... saw a guy one time who was a expert gunsmith, he set up a shop for repairs and modifications in the back and followed the shooting competitions around the country, servicing all the professional competition shooters needs. i can see a toy hauler being useful for many things like that... high end dog groomer following dog shows.... mobile vetrenary care in rural areas, where a stationary office might be 100 miles from some customers or groups of customers (suppose you could even put a horse in it and tie it down if you had to for emergency transport, am sure would void any warrenties, do not think toys are supposed to be 2500 lbs of living muscle).... far as no glass doors being available on this one... unless you can lock them like any other door, does not really matter, would close the ramp anytime sleeping or gone anyway since only way to lock up safely, screen good enough for anytime i would want ramp open i would think. tv is in decent enough spot since you have chairs you can point right at it if you want to, good for anyone in bed as well as outside... about as good as can be done in toy haulers. yet another very nice functional unit, many ways to set this up to suit each individual situation/enviroment etc. desk at window no problem, dinette at window for 2 or dinner for 6 on the benches, no problem, besides patio and other possible outside uses for chairs and table.... all without buying a single thing extra or modifying anything. just using what they give you.
I could happily live without the linen closet in the bathroom and the extra entry door to bath from bedroom if I could have a normal shower preferably a shub💖 We the people want porcelain also🙃
Please settle an argument. What is that middle top cupboard window made out of and why? Is it perforated or is it that dark solid glass like on a microwave? Again, why?
Apologies it’s been a while since I got my hands on these but I think it’s just a dark glass As to why? I can’t speak for a mfg on design choices like that one. I can only guess it was to break up the decor
I just don't understand why they would not include the 3 season porch option, the floorpan is perfect for us but because it lacks that option it is a hard pass.
You can choose to call this toy hauler whatever you want to, but if you can’t leave home without your toys and you don’t mind living in a garage with bare minimum comfort and amenities with a cheap plastic toilet and a Dollar Store 4” fart fan then this RV might be perfect for you👍
The glass door is always my first question. Thanks for proactively answering that question!
Happy to help!

Not sure about having the generator beside my pillow.
Would never buy a heartland after seeing one on a lot that was just delivered, no way
I could happily live without the linen closet in the bathroom and the extra entry door to bath from bedroom if I could have a normal shower preferably a shub💖 We the people want porcelain also🙃
Please settle an argument. What is that middle top cupboard window made out of and why? Is it perforated or is it that dark solid glass like on a microwave? Again, why?
Apologies it’s been a while since I got my hands on these but I think it’s just a dark glass
As to why? I can’t speak for a mfg on design choices like that one. I can only guess it was to break up the decor
@@JoshtheRVNerd No worries! Thank you Josh!
Frankly, I only watch these videos for the discussion of Keanu Reeves' career. I feel that this episode made my investment of time finally pay off.
I just woke up and this is the first comment it see.
That’s how I know this is going to be a good day
@Josh the RV Nerd at Bish's RV I'm back from church and this is the first comment I see. I get to spread joy; my prayers have been answered. 😁
Rule #37 RV manufacturers shall not put side splash on kitchen walls near stove top. 😂
Except Alpha Wolf, Nash and someone else 😅
😆
#NerdHerd 🎉 😊
I just don't understand why they would not include the 3 season porch option, the floorpan is perfect for us but because it lacks that option it is a hard pass.
I wish I had an answer for you. I have seen in a few owners groups where people have added them but I don’t have a link to an upfit kit or anything
Do you mean 3 seasons ramp door? Or 3 seasons glass doors like the grand design?
The should of put snap magnetic screens like the put on vans in black this is a bugs magnetic.
I like that idea
The ramp door looks cheap and fllimsy -- not the look I'd be going for if I was spending this amount of money.
You can choose to call this toy hauler whatever you want to, but if you can’t leave home without your toys and you don’t mind living in a garage with bare minimum comfort and amenities with a cheap plastic toilet and a Dollar Store 4” fart fan then this RV might be perfect for you👍
Don't turn your Torque into a torch.
Always good advice!
