I have the Google Calendar plugged into the Apple Calendar. I can schedule back-and-forth from either app.

@@sugerless20 Change default calendar in iPhone settings to the same email you use for google calendar (instead of iCloud) and allow syncing from apple calendar in the google calendar app.

I am in the Apple ecosystem, & want to like the native calendar. Yet I agree with you, the nondescript dots on the Apple calendar are maddening. Also, getting to the calendar set-up screen is confusing. As a result, I keep going back to Google calendar. Good video!

I get that the video is predominately for "iPhone only" calendar use. With that in mind, one thing that never gets discussed that's kinda Mac-specific, maybe even iPads, you can drag reminders onto your Apple calendar

I used that function a while ago and it stopped working at some point. How do you do it?

I want to love the Apple Calendar but I agree with you as well, a calendar view feature is much needed on the iPhone just like how we have it already on the iPad and MacBook. I recommend Fantastical, and Calendar 366 is good as well.

Hem... it seems to me that even if one is using several Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac), the only burden would be to install the Google calendar app on each device. Which is a one time operation. Then after when you place an event/RDV on one device it will be available on all other Apple devices, thanks to the Google account sync. So this video is not for "iPhone only" owners, in my opinion 🙂
