Great choice. 👍👍 She's doing some play on the words "douce souffrance" (sweet pain/suffering) and "Douce France " ( Sweet France). They sound the same in songs and poetry. There's a really old French song (maybe from the1930s or '40s) called Douce France, I don't know if Indila deliberately set her song as a contrast to that old song . There are some rhyme patterns (not necessarily the same rhyming words) she seems to have taken from that song. SL👍

The video is about being brave and surviving through the bad things instead of running away from it. The only way to survive the pain, is through. After breaking up with her lover, Indila mentions running away from all the bad and scary things that are happening to her. She feels “unimportant” and that her life “is without meaning” without her lover, but realizes that she will never truly be free from the pain without confronting it first, which is when she looks up and notices the storm following her. So she goes back the way she came, going towards the storm (which represents life’s problems), and kneels before it, letting it in. She wakes up, having have finally braved the storm, and everything is sunny again. But she has to let go of her previous lover to move on, which is why the wind takes the picture away from her, setting her on a path of her own, one without him.

Such a beautiful explanation, this makes sense. Who was the lady who kicked her out in the beginning though, her mother?
