Fantastic video! And I would say your interpretation is exactly how it was intended, and the lyrics exactly match up to that! It's a very well written song with wordplay and references to other things that don't really work in translation, but I'll briefly translate the chorus for you: "I stir the sky, the day, the night I dance with the wind, the rain A bit of love, a drop of honey And I dance dance dance dance dance dance dance And in the noise/commotion, I run and I'm afraid Is it my time/turn? Here comes the pain In all Paris, I abandon/surrender myself And away I fly fly fly fly fly fly fly" I agree that her music videos are like movies, but apart from that she isn't an actress. That question was posed to her once and she said never say never, but it wouldn't be a role that she would feel entirely comfortable with. Though it doesn't come across in her videos, she actually prefers to work in the shadows rather than be in front of the cameras (before launching her solo career she spent years writing and collaborating with other artists). And the music video is certainly very well made with great attention to detail and symbolism! She has a hand in that herself: she always comes up with the concepts of the videos and the basic storyboards, and then the director brings it to life. And perhaps the best part is that all four of her music videos on this first album link in to each other! They're connected like one story. Here are the other three; it would be great if you'd react to them as well :) ruclips.net/video/vtNJMAyeP0s/видео.html ruclips.net/video/m65jhGwtWrg/видео.html ruclips.net/video/DF3XjEhJ40Y/видео.html Once again, a great video! They have a bit of romance and so much emotion. Fantastic! I see! I'd be curious to hear some of the music she made in collaboration with other artists in the past. Best reaction ever to this song, thank you for that. If you stick to the lyrics, the song is about a girl having lost her lover and fighting her feelings … but there is more to it. Mainly due to the first verse « oh ma douce souffrance » (oh my sweet torment) which sounds much like « ma douce France » (My sweet France), a famous French song. Implying that her torment is caused by France and by her feeling of being rejected by the country she was born in and where she cannot find her place, because of her foreign origin. Till at the strongest point of the storm she comes with « Je suis une enfant du monde » (I am a child of the world) which clears everything up.
As a French singer, I really like Zazie, she is very well known in France, she is a great lyricist, my favorite songs of her are "J'étais là", "Je suis un Homme" and "J'envoie valser". And if it tempts you to listen to French rock, I recommend the bands Indochine, Kyo, Téléphone and Noir Désir.

Hey! I've heard about this Mini Album a few times now. I'm definitely interested in checking it out! I love music with a story. Stay tuned! Please don't forget to subscribe :)
I think I saw in a interview of her where she said that she was singing about the hatred and indifference that immigrants and children of immigrants had to face in France. She says at some point "I'm a worldwide child" because of her multiple ethnicity : she's algerian, indian, egyptian, cambodian and more... Also "douce souffrance" translated as "sweet suffering" sounds like "Douce France" or "sweet France", which is a very famous French song by Francis Cabrel. Anyway she's holding to a photo for the entire clip, and at the end, after facing her frustration and anger she finally wakes up in a park free and serene, then her photo goes away, which means that she stops holding to the past to welcome the future. I think it's an invitation for us, French or not, to realise our condition. Anyway really enjoyed your video ! :)
Thanks for the comments my friend! I see, I was going to say she looks like she's a mix of ethnicities which is cool or at least has something eastern in her. I like the peace she offers. Listen to how great my heart is
I'm a child of the world
I stir the sky, the day, the night
I dance with the wind, the rain
A bit of love, a drop of honey
And I dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, dance
And in the noise, I run and I'm afraid
Is this my turn?
Here comes the pain
In all of Paris, I abandon myself
And away I fly, fly, fly, fly

watch all her videos, they are all linked, her mini album (mini world) is in fact a mini story, worth watching/listening
Hey! I've heard about this Mini Album a few times now. I'm definitely interested in checking it out! I love music with a story. Stay tuned! Please don't forget to subscribe :)
I gotta give you a lot of credit for your analysis in this video. You deserve more subs bro. Great video
Thanks so much Kevin! I really appreciate that! :)
Oh, I'm glad you like her song as much as I do :D
Yes I sure did! She has such a beautiful voice. Thanks for sharing this one with me :)
The message of the video and song are beautiful. She's a real talent! Hopefully we hear more from her soon! Thank you so much for watching and feel free to request as you'd like :)
Yeah, but I don't think she ever said that in an interview..anyway she's definitely a child of the world!
And "Douce France" is from Charles Trenet ;)
@@fajitv9970 My pleasure ! Well you can go for Stromae ("Papaoutai") who is Belgian but french-speaking, also Angèle ("ta reine") also Belgian, Imany, Maitre Gims.
Then you have french rap which is very big, and hip hop : Hamza is belgian again but great, Jok'air, Kalash ("Mwaka Moon"), S.Pri Noir...
@@CookiieFly Awesome! Those are great requests. I’ve actually reacted to Angele - ta reine. Please feel free to check it out! As for the others, I’ll add them to the list. Thank you! :)
@@fajitv9970 My mistake ! you did indeed react - I'll check it. You're welcome ! Have a nice day !
I like the way he is so wrong in the commentaries about what will happen but at the same time really genius. That's the kind of react video I'ld to see more often.
I'm glad you liked it! Stay tuned for more :)
The english name for this song is last dance
Thanks for the info! Good to know :)
Wow merci pour cette vidéo, voir ça encore maintenant alors qu'elle s' est retirée de la scène médiatique fait vraiment plaisir !! C'est l'une de mes plus grande fierté 😍😍🍀♥️👑
Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you liked the video. You mentioned that she has withdrawn from the media scene. Did that happen recently? Seems unfortunate. Feel free to request any songs! :)
@@fajitv9970 no it happened 4 years ago now ... it misses a lot of people especially in foreign countries and this is very touching, it's nice! thank you for your comment and she should come back this year, as it is my idol I could warn you if you want. with you instagram?

Thanks for the comment! I will definitely check out more from her, do you have a favorite? I can add it to the reactions :)
@@fajitv9970 there are 2 singers that makes me want to learn French is Indila & Lara Fabian (you can check one of her live performance like "Je Suis Malade") but if you want to check another unique singer -English speaker- you can listen to Melanie Martinez "Dollhouse" and tell us what do you think of it
Thanks for the suggestions my friend. I'll add them to the list. I haven't heard of any of them so this will be good :)
I love thé way u analyse thé vidéo songs
I am 100 like!
Thank you so much! :)
I'm french so i don't understand what you are saying lol but i enjoy the song 😂😂
YES whoever recommended Indila to you knows 🤠
Another interesting french artist is Jain. She mixes Afro-beat with pop and she also has been doing pretty well lately. And you should react to Stromae too but he’s from Belgium not France!
Nice! I'm glad she's a good one Luli! Perfect, I'll add these to the reactions. I need more French in my life lol Belgian sounds great to me. More diverse sounds. Thanks for watching :)
Stromae is too good, but girl what about if he´s from belgium or france?
Hugo F. Núñez just because I wanted to tell him before he made a mistake and everyone got mad about it 👀
at one point she says: and in the noise i run and im afraid
Thank you for not reacting to Diana's version. While Diana is good Indila gets barely any love from reaction channels
My pleasure! I'm not too familiar with Diana so I have nothing to compare to. I actually came across Indila by accident. Glad it's your preference :)
The name of the song is last dance

Hey man, i am brazilian and i'm subtitling videos to improve my english, so it is okay for you to subtitle your video in portuguese?
i think that the way you speak is very clear so it's easy for me to subtitle. Nice video btw, enjoy this song a lot.
Thank you Marcelo! I appreciate the comment. I like your idea of subtitling to improve English. How does the subtitling work? How would I add it to the video? Educate me my friend haha :)
@@fajitv9970 So to input the subtitle, I download the video and edit it, putting just the subtitles. I asked because some people don't like if someone do that with their videos. I already subititled a video, and the owner didn't reply to me if i can post it on a channel of mine. I know there is a way to put subtitles on youtube videos, but i don't know how. I intent to post your video aswell, that's the idea subtitle the videos and post it on my channel
@@marcelosilvamarques3856 I see what you're saying my friend but I'll have to pass. I'd love for you to learn through this process but posting it would basically be posting my video on your channel that would be considering copyright. I like the hustle but my intention to get videos on my videos and that would unfortunately take away from all my efforts. Thank you for reaching out Marcelo. Best of luck to you my friend.
@@fajitv9970 i understand your point, i will leave where it be, best of luck to you too.
You're very good commentary
Now you have to see tourner dans le vide. It's a story.
This year she sings parle a ma tête wich is the start of this story

Well i thought it was time lapse, becouse it was like she was kicked from childhouse, and the old men crush into her, i think hes her father, also women and men in the car it looks like they had fight. she recognise that women in other time, it might be that she was her mother, so she cross her time like weather..

Thanks for the comment! I see what you're saying. Not fully French :)
She is French (she was born in Paris and as far as we know, she has always lived there), with Algerian, Egyptian, Indian and Cambodian origins.
It is a little deceptive to say that she is not French...
