Thanks for playing my mod! Seems like you've encountered a bug in which enemies were duplicated on clients in very large amounts, causing lag. That was fixed in v0.12.4. I'm also impressed that you managed to find a new (as in nobody had reported it yet) bug with duplicating tablets in the first 10 minutes.
It's a fantastic mod. Thanks for putting the work in and making it! The entire community will appreciate it. Yeah, there's slowdown and such, but we all had a lot of fun. Haha, well Alias and I have been breaking this game and finding bugs for years, so I'd be surprised if neither of us find anything during this session. I can't wait to see where the mod goes from here!
FWIW. My friends and I have put maybe 6 hours into this mod and have not seen these issues. We only get the occasional desync with wood platforms spawning in for non-hosts late. Here is the steps for running that mod: * Launch game via steam (ensure mod enabled) *launch noita proxy * join/create lobby *launch run (you can pick up old saves with friend via continue, it doesn't have to be a new save. You can also give friends a copy of the save file so they can jump into a run in progress exactly where you start.)
I honestly think they faked it and this is local with some LLM stuff going on, just too many particles to keep track of and it looks REALLY suspicously glitchy...
@@metadata4255 LLM is large language model, not really capable of generating video. Haven't seen the video fully yet but I can't imagine even training a dataset of VERY new video generation being able to do anything like Noita.
It looks really promising, would be cool if there were options to turn off and on item duping and shared health, and the latter could have a respawn mechanic, maybe every holy mountain or full heal But that's probably asking too much, gotta be content with the cool mod
I've found this comment again and can say that we finally got there. Items aren't duplicated by default, and also there is an alternate game mode with respawn mechanic.
This mod has a second game mode where each player has their own health level, but when you die, the bot takes control of your character and attacks your teammates with your staffs, and in order for you to revive, your friends must defeat you. As for me, this option is much better and more fun
Yeah, but that's on the same computer. This is through the internet. The fact is: there are a lot of great Noita mods out there and in development and they all should be supported!
@@Proud_Knight That was my decision, or perhaps a promise to myself, there likely is a deeper psychological reason. The thing youre asking for, vast majority of people couldnt answer. Its parallel to preference

God I love modders.
Where can we find people who want to play this mod? Is it in the discord? :)
Do you take donations? Where can I throw money at you for your work on this mod? SHUTUP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

With the stains, if you customise your sprite it will require the UV map to be regenerated otherwise stains will break, unrelated to the cape.
My friend and I have had so much fun with this mod and have gotten us way more mad at each other than I think any other game

Tbh author priority rn is dealing with actual issues and lacking sync in some areas. A bit early for feature creep
@@notkarma2984 You're right, it's just an exciting thing with a lot of promise, but they gotta focus on the basics

@@intquant nice! good job!
I was just talking to my brother about this the other day!
shared HP is a genius solution to avoiding waiting to respawn somewhere an hour down the line

Im actually in shock. I cant believe this is real.
Fucking awesome!
That's not healthy.
Finally, Awesome! I know there's been a pvp mode for a while, been hoping for co-op

yo i was just looking up a multiplayer mod and this was JUST released omg pog

This mod is black magic and its amazing.
You might look at the Icenine mod, for shenanigans

absolutely amazing
No fucking way ! This is epic !
I had an idea for Noita multiplayer where all processing was on one machine and the players used an RDP or VNC style protocol.
Wasn't "couch coop" trying the same?

You can drop dynamite??
how does it work on the same computer
youd have to use something like nucleus co-op, though im not sure how to split a mod into running on both running versions of the game
@@Miguel_Nunez633 there's also something called iota multiplayer
There's a newer program called entangled worlds, which they seem to be using. It's a true sync that isn't a couch coop.
there's a new mod called iota for that my friend, the shared camera does get in the way for secondary players tho
add friendly fire
I hoped i would have a chance to try this mod with someone before it got reviewed by main Noita channels... too late
Why? What's the difference between doing it then and doing it now?

yeah this mod is not close to finished yet but it's the best we got

Don't disrespect the hat. It was given to me by a friend who died in the military.
The mod might have a Trojan Horse, DON'T install it.
How did you conclude this

No it doesn't. It's literally open source, you can check the code and compile the mod yourself
