He's actually doing a really good job at answering the questions without giving it all away. Just general advice or if the question is direct then only exactly the answer (or encouraging experimentation). Also really liked the pro-tips for muscle memory and wand design grammar for easier play.
@@Ulmaramlu Oh for sure, I've just found when teaching noita that its a challenge to answer without being to cryptic to the point of frustrating for the people I teach
Yeah same, I learned a lot of stuff that I didn't know! The explosive shot stacking I had no idea about, same with the arrow spread(which I should have thought about considering I know how chainsaws work)
That is basically the main use of freeze field. It stops fire and lava, it blocks off treasure, and it gets you killed the second you get hit with a bullet unless you have the gas blood perk.
No matter what people might say, without your execution you wouldn't have won this run. There were several instances ESPECIALLY right at the end where you narrowly avoided death. Though you're probably unaware of why that is. You had good advice, and got lucky sometimes, sure. But you capitalized on all of that and won in a game designed to kill you. Tons of people wouldn't be able to do that even with far more hand holding than you got. Much respect. 🤘
@@nitenite8946Thank you SO much! It’s hard to tell how difficult a game like Noita is when your first run goes how this one did, haha. I’m just happy to do myself and Alias proud 😅 I hope to make more Noita content in the future! Thanks again!

I love how at the start he asked "what's the point of the game". Personally, I think that's one of the few games where the point is to just have pure fun
maybe take him up the main dungeon again once he can dig out and has the means to kill the alchemist (and travel) - and then either go parallel until he can tinker everywhere and is fire/explosion immune and then go into mushroom caves adjacent to the pyramid to show him some crazy spell things :)
Likely very well. I coached a friend of mine during his first playthrough, and he also won first try. Having someone who knows what they are doing in the backseat REALLY helps, especially if they have over a thousand hours.
Oh my god. As someone who's been playing since beta, I actually learned a couple things that are going to WILDLY boost my game. Like I didn't know about something so simple as switching to another wand resetting the cast order of the wand. I've wasted so many charges of ridiculously valuable spells when I entirely did not have to!
I learned the hard way too, I fell into lava and was too slow to get to my water and ended up throwing my flask and trapping myself under the lava with a ceiling of rock.
New to the game myself so this was informative and entertaining. It's definitely interesting to watch one person with great knowledge in a game tutor someone with none.
nullshot blackhole to extend it a lot :) tempted to backseat more, uselessly, ... but stopping the fellow from collapsing the HM and using blackholes to dig out to edit more might have been more OP than necessary at this point xD
I was coming in skeptical of this, never expected him to survive even if he was warned of some dangers, he definitely had good gaming habits to avoid simple death, I had 50+ failed runs before i got to the end
Omg I just realized eat you veggies is now a potential healing method with the introduction of mimic fluid. Because of the oatmeal. Tho now that I think about it, wudnt rrly be that great
That's absolutely nuts! Great calm and collected coaching, and amazing, very cautious, yet I'm pretty sure very experienced (from other games) playing. Amazing duo. And the fact that you have 1 death even if you win, I've never seemed to notice that, even though I've got 170 hours. Spectacular video guys!
interesting to see someone set up their key binds for the first time without a real idea of what to use or why you might want to do it a certain way. I usually only map the main wand in slot one to R for changing back from anything else quickly along with water potion in slot five to F. I used to use left click to kick but now I use middle mouse bc of a mod that adds alt fire spells.
I tried not to throw all the crazy stuff at them but I regretted not learning to avoid mouse wheel about 100 hours in and it took a long time to unlearn my bad habits.
Im fairly new to Noita, die a bunch, then come here and see a guy one shot it! lmao. That perk combo was such luck, combined with skill and a tutor, damn.
I would love to see a long run guide! Ive beaten the game myself without supervision and i know how to wand weave. But i have no idea how to setup for a long run or all boss run
I seriously wanna be able to toggle adhd on and off on command. In situations where I'd be like "Too much is happening, shots everywhere, enemies, bombs. I need to chill in a corner with some nice relaxing hyper ventilation for a while", this dude's like "Oh, so modifiers are a spell's best friend" so fucking chill n curious in life n death situations😄 edit: okay, getting to the jungle was the hyper ventilation point.... he got there on his first run. I've gotten there TWICE (out of 100) I'm learning a lot from the guidance
How can i apply to be next? I have beat kolmi a couple of times, i've beat the dragon... and thats about it. Alchemist gives me nightmares. I've never seen the lake boss. I need guidance, alias. Help me overcome my fear :(
I had never taken the personal forcefield before, it didn't make sense for me for it to be strong since it also increases damage taken. if it's too strong, projectiles won't hit you anyways so then the negative doesn't mater. Makes no sense haha Guy is 2 perks in and it looks so good already
Magicraft is like noita with the spell crafting but in more of an isaac style layout, it's a good time. I might do some recording or streams of it soon!
Record / post your second game with no coaching and no Alias. Think it would be and interesting to observe the difference for the folks who watched this play through. I laughed audibly when you said something to the extent of "you've given me so much knowledge that I would of learned in probably ten runs." That's a massive understatement in my opinion. There is so much to this game that you learn by trial and error. After several hundred hours of playtime, I still lack the game knowledge to understand all the perk nuances and wand-building skills necessary to create the wand you used in the last few levels. Just let it sink in that the amount of people with the Noita "Victory" Achievement as of posting this is 9.7%...
Sveth is planning on recording a few more rounds of noita on his own and then we'll be going over the gameplay together as a followup video. I'm super curious to see how well he does! I can't fathom he keeps his perfect winrate.

It's super tough to strike that perfect balance. Regardless Svethlane had a bunch of fun and we''ll be doing some hands off runs to follow this one up.
If he stops now, he will forever have a 100% winrate in Noita. A phenomenal feat!
