Selling wands is from a more "recent" update of that time, it's kinda the devs balancing a gold farm exploit and making it legitimate, the exploit allowed you to farm near unlimited amount of gold if given enough time, basically, if you threw a wand into a pool of pheromone, a "friendly" ghost noita would spawn and pick up the wand that, in terms of visuals would appear "charmed", and start shooting at enemies, the exploit was that you threw an empty wand in the pheromone so the ghost would drop it immediately as "npcs" drop empty wands, so the wand ends up in the pheromone again, creating a cycle of spawning ghosts that immediately attacked each other, the ones who died would drop gold, the devs then patched it so every empty wands be converted into an amount of gold nuggets relative to its tier, thus the ability to sell empty wands. The pool doesn't even need to be big, just enough to properly submerge the wand, the biggest "concern" is to have a "clean" bottom as powders or other liquids can prevent the selling, on the other hand, if the selling "vat" is tall enough, the wand will ve sold when it's falling through thr pheromone
I've been trying to complete a pacifist run for a few days now. It's frustrating because I feel like it's mostly RNG as you need to find both a lumi drill and freeze charge/field before you reach Kolmi. On my closest attempt I had everything I needed, but died in the temple of the art because I got electrocuted by a shock trap (while invisible btw) and fell into a lava pit. Haven't raged at a video game that much in a long time...
I think the last statue may not have the health because you can abuse it with essence to power. Since it adds 10% of nearby enemies health as damage, and the statues have 30,000 health, that's a free 3k damage per shot to kolmi just for kicking the statue out to the arena. Might set a bad example for newer players that all they need to beat the game is find essence to power, slap it on a spark bolt, then stand on a statue to 1 shot the boss.
Tablets sometimes negate trick kills because of the projectile component (this you already know). When you hold the tablet out it must remove ownership, but I don't see why it would eliminate the projectile. I'd guess that the slimy boy was killed by the tablet "projectile" rather than the tablet "physics" and thus was not a trick kill but still didn't count as an owned object.
@@ЕгорКолов-ч5с While I think my explanation is plausible, I see now that the damage value that killed him was 8. I tried to replicate a non-trick kill with a tablet in my existing game but the numbers still seemed to be higher than that, so yeah I suppose that's right.
"Throwing" an item gives it the projectile damage, this is true of all throwables, like the broken wand. But dropping it from your inventory doesn't give it any projectile damage, so all damage it does is purely physics, which ensures it's a trick kill. As below, the guy killed himself from the small splash damage of his spit, therefore not a trick kill, but not dunk's kill either. As long as you never 'throw' the item, like having it in your hands and clicking, it should always count as a physics kill. Kicking loose objects only ever provides physics damage so that's also safe. (Unless you accidentally kick the enemy directly)
@@Winasaurus Yes, it was clear after the fact that the monster killed itself. I think I replied on my phone initially and was able to see the damage better when I replied. This was a part of a larger discussion at the time (for me anyway) about how damage is determined and attributed. There's an ownership aspect to projectiles, although I don't see how it's determined in the code, which distinguishes between "shooters" and "player" the former of which is probably the 'owner' who is susceptible to friendly fire and gains credit for kills (such as when an enemy kills the player, it is credited in the player's stats). This also determines if a run is pacifist or not. In a tablet-oriented video just before this one by FuryForged he asked a question about the tablet kills (I don't remember what the question was), which were sometimes physics and sometimes projectile, the supposition being that the rigidbody and projectile hitboxes were not the same shape. I volunteered to run a test where I removed the projectile from the tablet in the code and, sure enough, it only did trick kills even when thrown since throwability is different from the projectile. I assume the shape is based on its sprite? There are also references to it being used as a "projectile" and a "bullet" in the physics so IDK... I didn't make it further than that. Anyway, here I was speculating that dropping the tablet removes ownership but still activates the projectile component and would thus still sometimes give you unattributed projectile kills. However, according to what you're saying, we have since found out that dropping an item doesn't enable the projectile component. I still wonder, does it also eliminate ownership? I'd guess it does, but I'm not sure. To test you'd need something that does non-projectile damage that is still attributed to the player (so... not physics damage). It's been a while since I've played so I'll leave those discoveries to you.
This is very sad. When I read pacifist run I didn't want to look up any guides and thought it was about getting an ending without killing anything. So I got the kantele to end the game on mountain shrine, triggering but not fighting Komli. That was one evening wasted :(
im pretty sure the blood from picking up the wand was the same from regular wands, (this is a guess) i think that the game replaces that yellow-gold tile with blood when you pick up a wand, and since the chest placed a wand as if it was on the stand, so when you pick it up it just sets the yellow-gold tiles to blood (no i dont actually know how it is made im just guessing dont start being condescending im sick of youtube comments)
thats so odd with the blood thing, you started a new run and your wands didnt have that large green magic circle go out from them. i think the game glitched and when u picked up the pacifist wands they produced the circle that causes the alter to bleed. because u picked up the perk and it had a gold circle which also indicates you are pacifist (cuz its red when u kill something isnt it?) just checked its white

nice new editing style, dunk!
Nice edits 😁

I'm on a pacifist run irl. Never killed anyone. I swear!
you should try trick kills, they do not count
If you throw a heavy object in their head it doesnt count as a "kill" just a tip to avoid getting jail time if you get caught 😊
