The Accord has always been an affordable comfortable dependable sedan. Will you be testing the 2024 Honda Accord LX or Accord EX non hybrid models? Just curious. Thanks Dietrich! Kevin
@@CarDietrich I can certainly understand that! Regardless you do a fantastic job....keep up the great work/videos and Happy Easter Dietrich to you and your family! Thanks again.
I love the comfort of the accord. I love the body design of Hyundai kona but was concern about reliability. It’s high off the ground, easy to get in and out. So I just had to get the hrv. I just love the instrument display in the hrv. It reminds me of my civic.
The newest version of the Passat is very big, very comfortable, ok to drive and not my favorite car in the class. Reliability is not quite as strong as its Honda/Toyota/Subaru competitors.
45 mpg city 50 mpg highway (depending on a traffic and road conditions). You can't beat the sport hybrid mpg unless you want to go to a compact / lighter Camry or Prius. This car runs like butter around corners and has a full 5 star safety rating all around. Toyotas have a N/A on their Side Safety Rating. That was a No Go for me.
If you want to say the Accord has lost its “special character,” that probably happened a few years ago or a few generations ago, depending on what that really means to you. What’s “special” about this new Accord is how purely competent it is, and how well it does everything you ask it to do. I had driven it about 300 feet before I decided it was a better car than the 2023 Camry SE I drove last year, or my own (top of the line) 2021 Subaru Legacy XT Touring. It was just that obvious to me. If you want the best midsized sedan for the money, this is it. There’s no question in my mind about that. That’s what makes it special.
It won't be a shame that you've only put about 6k miles a year on your Integra when you sell it in 10 years for about the same price as the MSRP sticker.
Man you don't know what you are talking about!!! I love my 2023 Honda Accord Ex Platinum Pearl white With All black interior that I purchased on May 30th I paid cash 💸
The amount of hand fidgeting and jerkiness was SO hard to watch. Could feel my body jerking left and right through the screen lol relax bro, smooth movement is all you need Edit: just noticed your throttle modulation holy hell dude please fix your driving. If anyone in your life has said they get car sick when you drive…it’s you, not them.
I think when I’m filming these things my subconscious is hyper-focused on keeping the car centered in the lane? But comments like this have made me pay attention more to my driving and I still kinda do it when I’m not filming. I dunno. Strap a GoPro to your head and film yourself driving, you might mess with the wheel more than you think
I put down a deposit on a Sport-L and paid about $1600 under MSRP with no add-ons. So not a bad deal for the times
Where do you live?

If I can get my hands one on and the time I would consider reviewing a non-hybrid Accord. So many cars, so little time!

Do you still like the Passat even though it isn’t made anymore? How is the reliability for a Passat? Thank you!

What MPG are you getting on this car?
It's beat the EPA estimate... I'll have that video up tomorrow

So I may be wrong 5:00 but I’m almost certain that the Touring comes with a frameless auto dimming mirror.
You may be correct, but this was the Sport
This is another car for the tall. So comfortable to drive.
Do you think this gen Accord has lost its special character compared with past Accords?

This car or camry hybrid or camry gas or accord gas?
If it’s a lease or shorter term ownership, Accord Hybrid. If you’re trying to put 300,000 miles on it, gas Camry
@@CarDietrich , fantastic! Thank you much!

I won't lie there's a part of me that already wants to trade it in for an Integra Type S, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it
I would NOT pay a markup for a CR-V. That's crazy.

So "Sport" mode = noise mode? 😂
Pretty much, yes
I couldn’t help to notice the amount of steering wheel shaking you’re doing with your hands
Yeah I always do that.
Anxious?

@@CarDietrich I’m going to try that. I feel like I would keep my hands one position but that’s just me.
Well, you are “Faultless” so I’m sure you will be perfect
