Peter's idea that cruising is like sampling a location and coming back at a later date to spend more time... I did that with my kids when they were young with a cruise to the Hawaiian Islands. The kids like Maui for the beaches and the wife and I liked Kauai for the rain forests. We've spent additional time at all of the islands. Good plan

🌴, so on my first ever cruise which was a Disney Cruise, me and my niece did the seadoo excursion and we stopped on the back side of Castaway Cay and the tour guide was from the Caribbean and he picked up a conch shell and got the meat out and eat it raw, he said locals do that all the time. Those islands depend on our tourism so folks start booking those cruises I got mine booked!
As soon as I seen the hat I was like “noooooo he just got that hat” man that happened to me with a Mandalorian hat my last time on a cruise I was so mad 😂
The Iguanas are beautiful lol I lived in PR for a long time and they have them too, some people eat them just like in the states people eat raccoons and possums
This Vlog series definitely made me choose Royal Caribbean as my first cruise experience. I hope we get a light cruise like this whenever we decide to book

Ohhhh that bushwacker drink sounds great, and you can't go wrong with a pain killer lol I don't know how many different iguana species there are. In Flores Guatemala they were HUGE, like 100lbs + huge. The locals eat them. BTW, bacon is made with pork belly. Your appetizer looked amazing. Good thing you have that fridge in your stateroom for any left overs I am so hungry now

I don't know if it is your style or pacing but you could do a hundred cruise videos and I would binge watch them all. Oh! And keep the content long! It works.

Yea!! The 360 camera is really neat, at first I thought you had a drone with you! You guys were cracking me up with the iguanas. My daughter went to St Thomas a couple of years ago and she said iguanas and chickens were everywhere. My dad used to have a place on St. Croix. One year, my friend and I took the ferry from St. Croix to St. Thomas and when we arrived, it was so early nothing was open EXCEPT Bumpa's! We had THE best breakfast there. I got a little teary looking at your footage. We actually hated St. Thomas, it was TOO touristy and we ended up taking an earlier ferry back to St. Croix. My father has since left the islands and moved to the desert, and while that's a whole new world to explore our west, I really miss the Caribbean! Thanks for this.

Oh my gosh, you's are the BEST cruise ship vloggers!!! After this series is done I am going to go check to see if you vlogged your Disney cruise. Also going to check to see if you vlogged your St. Thomas trip because that place looks really cool, too! (Runs to check Trip Advisor for resorts.)
We went on our Disney cruise before we had a channel so sadly no video. But we will be going on one next year. The St Thomas video is from our cruise, it was one of our port stops. We have been there before on that Disney cruise. But the only thing we did that was the same was paradise point.
I just found y'all and am binge watching, and thank goodness I did, I lost my best friend, my parrot, Mardi a couple weeks ago and am so lost without him so I'm glad to have found you to keep my mind off of things.... He was my EVERYTHING!
There's a huge history of pirates in st Thomas. The island across from where your port was is called water island. There was a fresh source of water on the island that pirates would use and intercept ships leaving st Thomas. Also, if you ever go back, I recommend taking one of the boat rides that goes to honeymoon beach on water island. It's beautiful.

@@OrdinaryAdventures Wild iguanas and chickens are all over the place on island. We get them all over the yard. My favorite at Gladys is the soursop colada. Their curry is outstanding. Actually the original location was on the other side of the same alley. They had a big fire and reopened across the way.

Conch taste best raw. It’s just a big snail. When I was a boy and my family and my best friend traveled to the Bahamas. We dove into the ocean and caught the conch snails. We will pull them out of their shells and eat them raw. They tasted fantastic. The shells are gray. And the snails are gray. If you ever eat a colorful snail from the ocean it is more than likely poisonous.
They should tell guests disembarking the boat about the wind and to hold onto your hats. And that giant lizard is an iguana. I live in Fort Lauderdale and they are all over my area. Update: I see someone told you already that they are iguanas. 31:14 By the way, those are brave iguanas. They're used to people. The ones around here run away fast when humans aproach them. But I heard they can bite hard.
I got lucky and had grandparents who decided to use cruises as excuses for family vacations after they retired so I’ve been on a lot and they’re all on Royal Caribbean except for 2. After chops became a thing we would always go once. The filet is the absolute best and so is the cheesecake. If you’re talking value for money, I always tell people to take a cruise. Everything is included and you get to see a few places. I’d say the only mandatory extra is the drink package and there is the unexpected expense at the end is the tips for all the staff like your waiter, cabin steward etc.
Man and you rock the bucket hat Peter. Soon as I heard you lost one but two on this trip was bummed out. Charlie if you find that hat or any of your Iguana buds do. Take good care of it and rock it as Peter would. Oh an don’t float away with it. This could be parasailing for you if it happens.
That is too funny!!! I was on a cruise and it took me forever to find the perfect hat. Yup, wore it and it landed where yours did. Never found another!

But generally it isn’t monitored what kind of shark most people actually sell and get served to eat, so as a general rule it’s usually safer to just avoid shark all together! Especially since shark meat contains high levels of mercury, which can be very dangerous! I’m a conservation scientist so it’s just something I like to share to help educate people! And I wouldn’t want anything to happen to you guys!! I love your videos so much. You’re national treasures, like the comment said in your live the other day, and I want you safe haha

I vacationed in St Thomas about 10 years ago and I still think about the tuna salad sandwich I had at Bumpa’s. Lol. It was very tasty!

My dad used to have a place on St. Croix. One year, my friend and I took the ferry from St. Croix to St. Thomas and when we arrived, it was so early nothing was open EXCEPT Bumpa's! We had THE best breakfast there. I got a little teary looking at your footage. We actually hated St. Thomas, it was TOO touristy and we ended up taking an earlier ferry back to St. Croix. My father has since left the islands and moved to the desert, and while that's a whole new world to explore our west, I really miss the Caribbean! Thanks for this.

Oh my gosh, you's are the BEST cruise ship vloggers!!! After this series is done I am going to go check to see if you vlogged your Disney cruise. Also going to check to see if you vlogged your St. Thomas trip because that place looks really cool, too! (Runs to check Trip Advisor for resorts.)
We went on our Disney cruise before we had a channel so sadly no video. But we will be going on one next year. The St Thomas video is from our cruise, it was one of our port stops. We have been there before on that Disney cruise. But the only thing we did that was the same was paradise point.

There's a huge history of pirates in st Thomas. The island across from where your port was is called water island. There was a fresh source of water on the island that pirates would use and intercept ships leaving st Thomas. Also, if you ever go back, I recommend taking one of the boat rides that goes to honeymoon beach on water island. It's beautiful.

Awesome you found Gladys's, we've been there twice, stumbled upon it on my 1st cruise. Did you meet Gladys herself? She sings Sinatra songs as she delivers your food. She is a character and an awesome personality.
We saw her working but didn’t want to bother her, especially after the server told us we couldn’t film anything beyond our selves and food. But she seems like a lovely person.

My favorite at Gladys is the soursop colada. Their curry is outstanding.
Actually the original location was on the other side of the same alley. They had a big fire and reopened across the way.
We used to cruise March then oct go to island we likes in eary 40 s did for 20 years so many changes on islands enjoy keep traveling our Italian one cancelled covid so glad did lots travel young good for yous

Conch taste best raw. It’s just a big snail. When I was a boy and my family and my best friend traveled to the Bahamas. We dove into the ocean and caught the conch snails. We will pull them out of their shells and eat them raw. They tasted fantastic. The shells are gray. And the snails are gray. If you ever eat a colorful snail from the ocean it is more than likely poisonous.

They should tell guests disembarking the boat about the wind and to hold onto your hats. And that giant lizard is an iguana. I live in Fort Lauderdale and they are all over my area.
Update: I see someone told you already that they are iguanas. 31:14 By the way, those are brave iguanas. They're used to people. The ones around here run away fast when humans aproach them. But I heard they can bite hard.

I got lucky and had grandparents who decided to use cruises as excuses for family vacations after they retired so I’ve been on a lot and they’re all on Royal Caribbean except for 2. After chops became a thing we would always go once. The filet is the absolute best and so is the cheesecake. If you’re talking value for money, I always tell people to take a cruise. Everything is included and you get to see a few places. I’d say the only mandatory extra is the drink package and there is the unexpected expense at the end is the tips for all the staff like your waiter, cabin steward etc.

Man and you rock the bucket hat Peter. Soon as I heard you lost one but two on this trip was bummed out. Charlie if you find that hat or any of your Iguana buds do. Take good care of it and rock it as Peter would. Oh an don’t float away with it. This could be parasailing for you if it happens.

We have no plans to eat shark but this is not 100% true: not all sharks are endangered, some are bred and harvested for food.
@@OrdinaryAdventures totally get that! But generally it isn’t monitored what kind of shark most people actually sell and get served to eat, so as a general rule it’s usually safer to just avoid shark all together! Especially since shark meat contains high levels of mercury, which can be very dangerous! I’m a conservation scientist so it’s just something I like to share to help educate people! And I wouldn’t want anything to happen to you guys!! I love your videos so much. You’re national treasures, like the comment said in your live the other day, and I want you safe haha
