I'm so glad Nick Maley looks so good and is still so positive. The hurricanes wrecked his museum and he had to rebuild and Covid killed the tourism so thankfully he's bouncing back!
@@OrdinaryAdventures The museum got beat up decently a few years ago and just as it was repaired the pandemic halted all tourism there. Glad it survived, I look forward to seeing him again out there.

@@OrdinaryAdventures For something that expensive. There is a proper way to present the drink. The snifter should be warmed over a china teacup of hot water before pouring the shot into the glass. The snifter is then set at an angle over the china. This warms the cognac and the angled snifter reduces the alcohol evaporation. Sniff, swirl, and sip the cognac to get the bouquet.... just awesome. I've only had the pleasure of having this once in my life at an open bar. There was no limit on the drink so that is what I ordered. lol

You should come to Navarre Beach and Pensacola Beach area. See how the water compares. It looks very similar. There are days the water is a bit more green (Emerald Coast), but others it looks more like the water there. Could be the camera, though. You guys are so fun!
7:40…What’s the truly freaky thing is on those times when they have a big enough jet actually Taking Off from that runway right next to the beach….the jet wash can actually knock folks backwards fifty or sixty yards if they’ve got an A380 or a 747 taking off

Back in the 60's my father took our family to lax we would sit on top of our green station wagon and the planes were that close! One of my favorite memories! Wow! Almost blew me off my chair watching!!!the artist was so interesting! And your fancy dinner blew my mind WOW!!!
I swear that the aroma from your dinner, was eminating from my 10.5 tablet.😃 I watch your vlogs at night after eating my dinner, and as I've previously mentioned my mouth salivates. So tonight, I kept some sweets/candy nearby; made no difference whatsoever!
The airport in Kodiak, AK is similar. The mountains are so close to the water that they had to build out an extension. The planes either back up so the tail is over the bay, or back up so the tail goes up to the only road. Cars have to wait because of the jet wash. So similar....except for the weather. And the freezing water. And the eagles. And the bears. Gotta go, super hungry from watching you eat!

Glad you got to visit Nick. We went in 2017 and had a talk with him as well. Very nice gentleman. Happy to see his place didn't get damaged (or too damaged) by Hurricane Irma (2017). Brings back memories.
Coke Zero used to be my jam but a few years ago I stopped all soda in favor of carbonated water (Waterloo is the way) but I do really like the new Coke Zero branding.

My husband and I went on an Alaskan cruise seven years ago & we ate at a French restaurant on board that reminds me of this restaurant. It was SO good! And by far my favorite restaurant we went to. Their signature martini was absolutely delicious. And our waiter smelled SO good! I wanted to find out what his cologne was and buy it for my husband!

I did enjoy Saint Martin a lot where are you went. But CocoCay is a true magical experience, and I know you two would love it because of your Disney affection. 😎

Hello Peter & Kitra - The Maho Beach plane flyover is awesome; been there, done that. It doesn't compare to Washington DC's Gravelley State Point Point Park. It's right off the only road from Reagan National Airport, you can't miss it, but sure Ubers/Lyfts/Cabs pass it by.. You can park, no fee, bike, walk the Mt.Vernon trail, or just sit and watch the planes depart/land. The planes incoming and outgoing are SO MUCH closer & scarier than Maho Beach; plus you have a beautiful view of DC. Maho Beach is ok, DC's Gravelly Park trail I highly recommend if you ever travel to DC. Thx Mary

The airport in Kodiak, AK is similar. The mountains are so close to the water that they had to build out an extension. The planes either back up so the tail is over the bay, or back up so the tail goes up to the only road. Cars have to wait because of the jet wash. So similar....except for the weather. And the freezing water. And the eagles. And the bears. Gotta go, super hungry from watching you eat!

Glad you got to visit Nick. We went in 2017 and had a talk with him as well. Very nice gentleman. Happy to see his place didn't get damaged (or too damaged) by Hurricane Irma (2017). Brings back memories.

My husband and I went on an Alaskan cruise seven years ago & we ate at a French restaurant on board that reminds me of this restaurant. It was SO good! And by far my favorite restaurant we went to. Their signature martini was absolutely delicious. And our waiter smelled SO good! I wanted to find out what his cologne was and buy it for my husband!

I did enjoy Saint Martin a lot where are you went. But CocoCay is a true magical experience, and I know you two would love it because of your Disney affection. 😎

Hello Peter & Kitra - The Maho Beach plane flyover is awesome; been there, done that. It doesn't compare to Washington DC's Gravelley State Point Point Park. It's right off the only road from Reagan National Airport, you can't miss it, but sure Ubers/Lyfts/Cabs pass it by.. You can park, no fee, bike, walk the Mt.Vernon trail, or just sit and watch the planes depart/land. The planes incoming and outgoing are SO MUCH closer & scarier than Maho Beach; plus you have a beautiful view of DC. Maho Beach is ok, DC's Gravelly Park trail I highly recommend if you ever travel to DC. Thx Mary
