it is also recommended that you level up jean up to 90 due to how EM scaling works

Why is it important to lvl to 90 for em scaling? I always see people say that but don't get why? Like why would a lvl 80 Jean not swirl as high as lvl 90 with the same em?
@@bridgesbane7032 swirl damage scales only on level and elemental mastery, so the higher a character’s level, the higher swirl damage they do. I don’t know what the difference is between a level 80/90 and 90 anemo character is though… I wish I did.
@@bridgesbane7032 unlike your conventional source of damage that can deal extra damage from crit damage, swirl scales with EM and character level since it does not crit.

Raiden National is very easy. You do Raiden's E, then Bennet's E->Q, Xiangling's E->Q, Xingqiu's E->Q, then Raiden's Q. You attack with Raiden until her Burst ends, then when it ends/when it's about to end, you press her E again, starting the whole rotation again.

7:03 One thing to notice is that it doesn't really matter what aura is ON the enemy to swirl pyro because you swirl pyro from YOURSELF similar to Gooba swirl. Just make sure that Jean is on Bennett's burst while using her ult and you get one tick of swirl damage because VV only works when holder triggers it on-field. This is one of the reasons why Kazuha isn't recommended in Sunfire overvape, there is no reliable way to consistently swirl pyro.
I didn't fully understand that you meant. In the video at 7:03, there isn't any pyro swirl; only electro and hydro swirl
@@Shenron557 Look closely at Jean's HP bar until the anemo symbol appears and pyro symbol dissapears. The anemo from her ultimate swirls the pyro on Jean onto to the enemy. You can see a pyro blast at 7:07. Sevy switched out too quickly to see the pyro swirl plus there is an ICD on display. Jean swirls 10 times during her ult with Bennett but it shows only 5 due to display ICD.

Hey, this was a great video. I've watch alot of guides on how to build characters but this is the first I've seen that actually shows how all those characters work with each other. The "to the point" combo list was also very useful since I'm more of a visual learner. Hope you do more of these in the future and keep up the awesome vids.

I’m so glad sunfire teams are finally getting some attention. Jean is an amazing unit to play with, so overlooked. and I used the Jean bennet combo on a lot of different teams.
What is the point replacing Xiangling to Jean? I mean... the damage is pretty worse on this team, and Xiangling need Bennet on the most teams, so unless you are using Sukokomon on the other team, I can't understand why people would replace Xiangling (free character) to Jean.

@Rei Zero Jean's raw damage won't be as high as Xiangling's, but having a VV Anemo support like Jean can DRAMATICALLY buff other character's damage.
Rei Zero Jean is used mainly for VV buff, and her burst and bennet burst creates a very good combo. Extra healing and cleanse can also be very useful

My personal solution to deal with lighter enemies that get thrown out via Overload is just to use Jean's Hold E to gather them up in one place and then throw them all together to sunflare them.
I think vid's like this are very helpful. Not a lot of Genshin content creators makes guides about specific teams and how to play them like this. Now if only Jean will finally come home next time I lose a 50/50...

I don't have Raiden (still debating on getting her) but I've been studying this comp a lot since I got Jean and Bennett~ Hope this comp becomes more popular because I heard it deals a lot more damage than Raiden National and it's much more fun (+ challenging) to play...

As someone who got FreedomSworn from the weapon banner, Sunfire Jean is even more fun than ever, plus the weapon looks gorgeous on her.
I think It was made for Jean
Because it doesn't suit Kazuha Aesthetically
@@desertdust6969 It was made obviously made for Kazuha. A lot of Signature Weapons don't fit the character they're made for aesthetically, but rather their visual appearance is made to fit a set theme. Look at Venti, Kazuha, Eula, Ayaka and Yoimiya. All of their weapon's effects match them *perfectly,* but none of them fit the character aesthetically.
Plus, Jean has no use for EM outside of a Sunfire team, which was made up by the players.

Mihoyo can change Stats however they like whenever they want
But Design they cant just change
So they just Launched Freedom Sworn alongside Kazuha, instead of Designing New Weapon for him by just changing it's attributes to fit Kazuha
Also the Name of the Weapon "Freedom Sworn" doesn't mean Anything to Kazuha
While Jean is Acting Grand Master of Land of Freedom

Freedom sworn suits Jean's summer skin a lot, i'm thinking they didn't have a kazuha sword model so they just gave freedom-sworn kazuha stats lmao

I used this team for Abyss 12 both this time and the previous, and it's amazing against those Ruin Graders. Two big chonky enemies is like the perfect sweet spot to get obliterated by this comp. This video still helped me learn something new though, which is that I should use Jean to swirl hydro and electro for the VV debuff before activating her burst. I had not been doing that before! I assumed they were getting swirled throughout the duration of Jean's burst and didn't realize I needed to swirl them specifically.

Nice guide, SunFire is what carried me through the whole game when I started back in November 2o2o until I changed my team later and got Kazuha, Raiden and Kokomi. Having Bennett and Jean soo pumped up even helped me and a friend to earn our tripple maguu kenki boss cards when the event of the four bosses came in, without sunfire we wouldnt have earned those cards and I still need to invest more in my Bennett and Jean to crown them both.

This seems fun to play with! Good thing I already leveled up the necessary characters. I never tried specific rotations like this before so it's gonna be a challenge for me but it really does seem satisfying when you pull it off.

raiden sunfire overvape is not consistent like raiden national for sure, Xiangling is broken af but some special case sunfire maybe better like first half 12-2, overall raiden national is absolutely better
@@dhann_i8 if u want to experience new playstyle just go for it, upgrade your Jean and give her 4 piece VV w/ tons of EM
@@dhann_i8 nope, national team has pyro resonance, xiangling bennett battery each other, Xiangling snapshots, and you can stack attack, crit rate, crit damage without worrying about em or er

The only time I've seen Bennett+Jean used together before was against shields like the Abyss Lector, constant pyro swirls ate away at the shields. So this was an interesting video, I don't think I'd run this setup myself (loving my taser setup with Yae right now)
I just realized that my old abyss comp with beidou as the electro main dps was quite similar to the team comp you showed in the video! My team was beidou, bennett, jean and xingqiu. I really liked the team because of how beidou and xingqiu synchronize so good in the same team, and with jean being my 1st ever 5 star, she is special to me.
oh also btw, my jean is on a standard dps build and not an em build.

I run this team in Abyss all the time, and it's honestly one of the easiest and highest damaging teams I've ever used. It makes the first half of the current Abyss cycle look like a daily commission hilichurl camp🤣

@@paarthchauhan9252 I like to run a comfy monopyro team with Yoimiya, Xiangling, Kazuha and Tankfei. Running this team frees up my XL while having good damage/being easy to play
Might give this a go. Been playing since launch, got Jean last month from permanent banner (after 2 Qiqi, 1 Diluc also last month) and Raiden at launch.
Been wanting the former since launch, the latter to be more than a sub DPS, and both in one team.
I can't wait to get Jean so I can try this team. It looks so fun!

i love raiden shougun i just got her and omg its amazing what i just found out tho is that when her e is active and you use yae mikos e all 3 turrets (1 or 3) the slash still activates and like hella electro auto damage its amazing
One of my favourite teams. Characters are always full hp, works great with Ganyu too

That is a cool team, I did not know that jean had a place in a meta spiral abyss team. Many tier lists and anemo character videos I watch put Jean as undesirable. However it is just another reason why bennet is one of the best characters in game XD. Great video I learned a lot about genshin game mechanics.
I love how not only is this really good damage but also makes all your characters effectively immortal lol
I built this similar team with Lisa and Kazuha, when Kazuha was released. I still use it to this day. It's less convenient compared to Raiden coz Lisa is an energy liability, but the team is really fun.
I think this Overvape Sunfire team uses the same foundations as the Sukokomon team, both relying on tons of reactions. They both look fun as well, with their respective pros and cons in battle.

Definitely gonna try swapping Raiden for Yanfei. lol Free Viridescent Venerer pyro swirl, that's gotta be good considering I have trouble fitting in anemo characters to swirl Yanfei's pyro application in between rotations.

Skyward Sword is also a great sword for zinqiu, it gives ER so he mitigates some energy issues (and with raiden, there are no issues) but also has a better base ATK and small crit rate to boost his build potential ratios and ATK. As a hardcore Xinqiu player I have done a loooot of work to get a very powerful build (C4, 7k swords at base, no food no buffs no resonance)
That’s my favorite team also because it has a very high survivability. Good DPS and Jean has very good scaling at level 90. The only issue is that it takes Xingqiu plus Bennet.

For a very longtime my second abyss team was some form of Sunfire Jean. I tend to put either sucrose, fischl, or diona with them, Sucrose to put the enemies in the circle, Fischl for more damage, Diona so that I don't get yeeted by something
ooo interesting team. I'm currently enjoying my time with Raiden + Yae + Sara with Bennett XD never thought I would enjoy electro characters tbh. Last year, I completely ignored electro ☠️

i've discovered this team by randomly putting them together bcs of their broken damage as a duo (raiden and xq & jean & bennett ult) and been using this for 3 months. this team is very good even against any world boss due to the provided healing and the broken elemental bursts buffed by bennett's ult as well. 10/10 would really recommend (although in this case i made jean dps instead of em build).
Sunfire Jean have been around for a very long time, but people tend to avoid it bc it needs two healers and most of them only had Bennett, Barbara, and Jean. Now pretty much everyone have Diona too.

Oh wow I use a variation of this team as on of my main domain teams, I don't use it on abyss because I need two teams and my best built characters are here. I only change xingqiu for xiangling although now that I think about it I do use xingqiu in there once in a while.

About getting the vv shreds for pyro: even if the enemy doesn't have pyro, wouldn't the vv proc when Jean swirl the pyro from self?
You're welcome! :) The VV doesn't reduce resistance if she only swirls it on your character, the Pyro aura has to be on the target enemy for the res shred to take effect on them.

I have almost every character I wanted thus far except Jean. I mainly wanted Ganyu but also Keqing (got both during Ganyu's rerun), Yae Miko, and now Raiden Shogun, but I got a little to ambitious on Standard thinking I'd somehow get Jean, I instead got C1 Keqing, C1 Mona and another Skyward Pride (first one went to Noelle) and now I'm basically F2P broke and starting back from where I was when I started playing in April lmao
