Julie I will FOREVER be grateful to her for being so kind to me when I called her as a child. She was so sweet & humble and nice to me when she could have just easily hung up on me. She even sent me an autograph picture. I believe that is why she continued to be so successful & get much work after the ABRUPT & devastating cancellation of the NMMC. Thank U Julie

Julie Piekarski Probst is still famous for being a mouseketeer in the New Mickey Mouse Club.
Had Jimmy and Roy been around, then perhaps it could have been successful as well just like the original version of the Mickey Mouse Club.

I remember very well seeing her in these series, Three's Company and the Facts of Life, when I was much younger.
Please do give me thumbs up if you enjoyed watching this clip of her going from a dancer to a mouseketeer. ©®

The lost girls should never have been cut from TFOL albeit I did like the addition of Jo. Missed Sue Ann and Cindy.

But I’m sure you are aware the show was not going to be renewed for a second season without major changes. The ratings were too low and it didn’t become a ratings winner until it was re-tooled to the format we came to know. Sue Ann and Cindy were good characters though. Really all the original cast was good, but based on test audiences NBC felt it was too big.

Just got into watching re-runs of TFOL on Antenna TV. It's a crying shame her and Julie Anne Haddock's roles got cut way back after season 1. The 2 cutest blondes on the show, and they got axed! Makes no sense to me!

I felt the same way, they were my favorites. Everything about the show changed after they got rid of the original cast. I thought the writing got really silly after that, the original shows were the best in my opinion.

They had to cut down on girls because the audience couldn’t focus enough on any specific characters, and they had to find the right combination of girls to make the chemistry with the smaller cast work, which is how we got the final four.

@@serenatwilite4005 I liked the first season and thought it was very original but the ratings were not very good and NBC basically said re-tool or be cancelled. There wasn’t any way the show could remain as it was in the first season, unfortunately, and it only became a hit once the changes were made.

Haha... please. Most people don't know who 80% of the contestants are either until their bio is presented. Julie wouldn't be any different. Though I do think it's a bit sad that she comes across as clinging to her past for self worth in her adult years. It almost comes across as though she idolized her youth in a vainful way.

@@stalkerstomper3304 she is interesting and enjoyed success as a child actor/ performer. She is reminiscing not clinging to the past. I find it interesting. She was GREAT on"FACTS OF LIFE" as SueAnn, the giri from Kansas City (my home town.) This profile video interviewed her didn't they?

@@stalkerstomper3304 I think she is one of those very rare child actors who actually enjoyed and has respect for their past. She managed to grow up and be a healthy adult free of alcoholism or drug addictions. She has my respect for that alone, not many accomplish that. Considering how hard she works doing charity work as an adult, I don't think she's relying on her childhood for her self-worth.
