also i use a bursh called a furmornaitor i might have spelled that wrong but its very good for my long haired cat and i can use it for my dogs and short haired cats aswell
I wanted you to know that I watch your channel with my elderly father every night. If there isn't a new video we watch old videos as his memory is short. He grew up on a farm in TN and goats and chickens are his favorite! He also enjoys your gardening and cooking. Your channel brings him joy and I thank you. Your family is precious - God bless you all.
I raise pigeons and he’s actually looking for a nest and calling for his hen to come. You can give the some pine needles and they will build their own nests. They’re also monogamous.
Indeed. pine needles and twigs will make them happy to start their nest and actually encourage laying eggs. but there is also sometimes the oddballs in the mix. I used to raise pigeons too and i've once before had a male pigeon cheat on his female while having eggs, with another female. as well as the pair splitting up to pair up with others when given the choice. 😅
When they build a nest they'll start laying and when they start to mate Dusk will start wing slapping you to protect his wife and he'll be on her like white on rice lol... she'll get no peace except when babies are in nest. I miss my pigeons. I'm so glad I get to watch you guys with these beautiful pigeons ❤
Is there anything Kevin CANT build? That cheese press is awesome. Oh my gosh I cracked up for so long at Kevins “anything from the trolly?”. Loved the video (like always) can’t wait for the next ❤️
Oh my goodness, genius hack!! I can't believe I didn't think of it myself. Ughhh the cutting board in front of your vacuum sealer. Raising what you are sealing will result in using less bag material, plus stopping any possible wrinkles when your bag is nearly too small. Brilliant!! Thank you sooo very much!!
For a prickly cat, I'd suggest investing in a matt-breaker, clip the front claws but leave the back claws for self defence - and treats, lots of treats. if you've got a metal comb for Salem you can use it to get a barrier between her skin and the matting. also do not be afraid to scruff her if she gets pointy. 15+ years of dealing with a fluffy pointy cat. 😅 also a slicker brush - and maybe a towel - for restraint purposes...
I just recently found your posts and OH WOW! How wonderful y'all are! Brings back some AMAZING MEMORIES from my childhood. I made sure I made great grades in school, because that was a requirement for me to be able to spend summers with my Granny and Granddaddy. Granny had cows, goats and several breeds of chickens. I never got to make cheese but I collected fresh eggs, plus milked cows and goats and churned butter after collecting cream off the top of milk. I am now almost 67 and have the churn we used. One of my TREASURES. Granny also had veggie gardens and fruit trees. We harvested and canned. She also had a diner and I loved working there by her side. So many totally precious and amazing memories. Thank you all for sharing your life with us. My love to y'all from your biggest fan in North Texas.
I know a line breeder who kept every doeling born on her farm, just to see what she’d look like as a first freshener. Even if they were full sisters, because they don’t inherit all the same genetics. This breeder was able to improve her herd at a fast pace. Now she would often evaluate her milking does and keep only the best of the best.
I wear gardening gauntlets when I brush my long-haired cat who hates to be brushed! They really work, especially when I hold him between my legs when sitting on the floor. I praise him and give him treats to keep him calm during the process. Have a pair of safety scissors handy for knots that need to be cut rather than brushed. Good luck!
Nest should be OFF the ground. My brother had white fan tails and Homing Pigeons and ants got to the babies so the nesting box was moved up n we had Babies survive.
I remember hen I was in high school I would come home and watch y'all's videos, I love your amazing and sweet family and fur babies❤ I can't believe that the pond is 4 years old😅😅
Congratulations on your cheese, it looked great! Next try something short aged like butterkase or Caerphilly, ready in three weeks 😉 I hope my book arrived.
4 years wow that went quick, can’t believe I’ve been watching for 8 (Luna babies were soo cute), are you ever gonna get ducks again? X Edit: as ik u answered the questions about getting sheep again x Edit 2: that colourful pigeon looks like a chicken I had called Elmo, she was a lemon sablepoot x Edit 3: Blair is sooo cute 🥰
Have you considered keeping both Fay and Blair due to their good genetics? And then re-homing Hazel instead? And/or hold on to both of Olive's doelings for a good period of time in order to properly assess them to make sure you chose the best one.
Hazel have pretty good genes too actually and is quite tall for a nigerian wich is good to improve the line I think if daphne only have boys they will consider keeping them both
*Tilly's thoughts* make good choices they said....... *Tilly's actions* walks off like she understands while thinking about what mischief to cause next
maybe when you get all 4 does you are looking at to keep 1 - one of the critera is who did better at the goat shows overall so take all four and see how they go
Next year consider putting some of that murky pond water in your garden. I used to put the water from my goldfish fountain into mine. My tomatoes were amazing that year. Home made fish emulsion!
Thank you for keeping me up to date & the explanation of the class. That really refreshed me backed to my families farm. Ours was pygmies but very similar.
I remember when you built the pond...woah! Willow loved running all around it. Your cheese looks awesome. I have only made Mozzarella before. Loving the baby goats!!!!
Could you use one alge eater like a plec or would it be too big? Let’s the mama goats trim the plants and them give them a lil cut and than after power wash
I always wait until after show season to determine who stays abs who goes. Hearing the feedback and opinions from the different judges is always helpful.
Honestly, wouldn't reccomend it. Turtles make a huge mess, are very sensitive (would have to come indoors over the winter), would probably need a basking spot, and don't offer much benifit other than being "cool"
Turtles are HUGE waste-producers, and so are Koi. They already have koi. Why add even more competition for the catfish, which are being raised for food?
Hey Weedems🎉👏 the Pond is clean Whoopi! Do you ever see Babies hiding in the Rocks when you refill? I see what you mean but the coloring on the more White Blair has my vote 😉. That went well the Goats All look great ,👏. Gouda is my favorite ,how did your Havarti come out. That's next in Favorite! Your doing so well with the Cheese you've learned. So much 🙌. Happy Swimming in your clean Pond 🐦. Thanks good video 💗. JO JO IN VT 💕😄
We went hiking and camping with our American Lamancha goats. It was so much fun. It was so much better than our pack donkeys who are stubborn and try to decapitate the heads of any animal that gets near them, lol.
I have the same rolling cart. I have a bad back and use it to bring my grocery store stuff in from the car. Loading it up instead of making a ton of trips helps.
Hack for brushing a feisty cat…lots of catnip & treats! - Anyone care to bet that they will end up keeping more than one or at least come extremely close to doing so?😂 -It would also be really awesome if Blue Cactus ended up taking one of the doelings from the doe you got from them!

It’s crazy that the pond is that old it felt like yesterday.
For real I did not think I had been following them for that long
Agreed - it’s so freaking cool though. Those koi fish too omg 🧡🧡🧡
I can’t believe it has already been 4 years since you got the pond! Time flys
Oh, goodness! 4 years?! No wonder I think these folks are family!
Sorry for all re-upload! So many technical difficulties today! Happy Friday:)
Not a problem! So happy to see that everybody is doing good! 👍
No worries
No problem you gotta do what you gotta to 😅 I hope y'all do so good on y'all channel, continue to do good 😅😆
Not a problem exited to see what you do today
also i use a bursh called a furmornaitor i might have spelled that wrong but its very good for my long haired cat and i can use it for my dogs and short haired cats aswell
🤣 “Every party has a pooper that’s why we invited you” - Kevin after catching poop barehanded 🤣
HE REALLY CAUGHT IT IN HIS HANDS 🤣🤣

❤
we took our smelly crazy buck to a goat show baby🥈🥇🏅🏆🟣

I've been following the channel for 4+ years and I just love the way your family lives.
4 years??? Wow! Didn’t realize I’ve been watching you guys for that long. I started watching when willow was born.
"Hairy udders are okay" needs to be your next t-shirt design please lol.
The three T’s Tatum, Tilly, and T’Fern 🤣🤣🤣
Good for you learning to be a RESPONSIBLE, breeder and actually improve the breed. What breeders of all animals should be looking at. 💞
Is there anything Kevin CANT build? That cheese press is awesome. Oh my gosh I cracked up for so long at Kevins “anything from the trolly?”. Loved the video (like always) can’t wait for the next ❤️

I'm so grateful my cat is too lazy to have attitude 😂
My cat never lets us groom him. Fangs and claws start going even before a brush is seen. I gave up.
Have you seen MaryCarl's (Cog Hill Family Farm) fan tail pigeons? She's raised a few babies by hand.
Mary Carl is one knowledgeable young lady isn't she.
Faye has a perfect “5” on her left side. Too cute!

Dawn and Dusk are so very cute and have such cute names. The babies are adorable and have cute markings.
11:46 it looks like the goat in the background has a number 5 on it lol

“Hairy udders are okay…it’s okay.”
I don’t know why this made me laugh so much 😂
Faye's white patch on her left side looks like a number 5, that's so cute! 🐐
You guys are the best farm family ever !
"The three T's! Tatum, Tilly, ------& T-Fern" This made me laugh so hard!
That’s going to be hard to chose. I get the Blair looking so unique, it Faye is very cute and matches her cuteness name. Little Faye.
14:14
Raven and Napoleon have quite the profile pic LOL
How has it been 4 years?!? Wow. I’ve been watching you for longer than that. 🥰

Wow, I never noticed that '5' marking on the side of Faye, it's amazing!*! 😮💗

THANK YOU FOR RETURNING THE VIDEO!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Little Faye has a number "5" on her left side! SOOOO cute!!
Has it been 4 years? Damnnn I remember Willow being so little jumping in that empty pond.
Dawns little hops were everything I needed !!! 😍
What a fun video today! So much going on at the farm! :D
I think the pigeons are my favorite animals that you have on your lil farm!! 💖💖💖
Gabapentin from your veterinarian will help Miss Pepper be chill enough to be brushed and maybe even bathed.
Hi guys am from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
Am super fan of your Chanel and your fam 🙏
I Always watch all the videos 🤩
God bless you guy’s and you house and farm
One of the black doelings with white markings looks like she has the number 5 on her left side! Cute!
“the 3 t’s. tatum, tilly ........... and tfern 😸”
Those pigeons are gorgeous!❤️
You should definitely keep Faye, she’s so beautiful and her genes are amazing. Plus she’s stealing everyone’s heart😂❤️
Shes intersex so they won't be keeping her, but she will still have a happy and healthy life
Congratulations on your cheese, it looked great! Next try something short aged like butterkase or Caerphilly, ready in three weeks 😉 I hope my book arrived.

The pigeons have such funny personalities
I can’t wait for more baby goats I hope you get some more doelings 🤞🏻
Her 🐟
I love how they have kinda learned to not rush out the gate when you let them out of the milking station😂
Thanks for this WE&R family. Loved the whole video. ESP the sped up one of the pond fill. Your creatures were wondering with curiosity.🤣❤️
You guys should have gone with the names Cloak and Dagger 🗡 for the pigeons. That would have been sooo cool! But Dawn and Dusk are cool too 👍🏼
“Ti-fern” 😂 21:25
maybe when you get all 4 does you are looking at to keep 1 - one of the critera is who did better at the goat shows overall so take all four and see how they go
Tilly is my favourite one ❤️ I started watching you guys when you got her
Next year consider putting some of that murky pond water in your garden. I used to put the water from my goldfish fountain into mine. My tomatoes were amazing that year. Home made fish emulsion!
Awesome video, you take such good care of everything ❤️. The animals are so cute. Nice looking cheese
I think you should keep Blair, she's strong and would be a good improvement
wow the pond looks awesome Its really really clean and the baby's are so cute
"Anything from the trolley, Dears?" & "Go wash your hands!"
Thank you for keeping me up to date & the explanation of the class. That really refreshed me backed to my families farm. Ours was pygmies but very similar.
“Those little catfish becomes…… dinner👹” made me laugh

16:42 I appreciate Kevin's SNL reference.
The tree over the goat pen looks so cute!
I can't belive Kevin cought the Poo!!!!!!
Loved the video - great job guys !!!
The pause before Tfern, 🤣
This looks like an Aquascape Pond? Nice 👍🏻 😉
That’s so crazy!!! It does not feel like it has been 4 years
*That would be a great habitat for turtles. Have you ever thought about adding afew smaller size turtles? Ones that won't mess with the fish.*
I would only recommend native species tho bc they are outdoor
Honestly, wouldn't reccomend it. Turtles make a huge mess, are very sensitive (would have to come indoors over the winter), would probably need a basking spot, and don't offer much benifit other than being "cool"

Danielle congratulations on the ads!!!!! Happy Easter!!!!🐰🐰🐰🐰💜💜💜💜💛💛💛💛🐰🐰🐰🐰💚💚💚💚

"Tfern" LMAO, good one!
Nice video! Make sure you guys are pine straw, hay, skinny sticks for the pigeons to build a nest. The male will carry it to the female. 👍
The pond looks amazing 😍
Y’all should really keep the “cottontail” one it is soooo cute 🥰
OMG I can’t believe y’all got sponsored by Walmart that’s awesome you guys!!
Aww keep both they are so beautiful
Absolutely love your kitchen 😍
Maybe you could add a couple two by fours in the pigeon cage for perches off the floor?
You guys should try growing Crappy, it's a delicious white fish. Great video..
I thought I saw this video earlier. Then I went to watch it a couple hour later and it wasnt there, so I thought I was going crazy lol.
We went hiking and camping with our American Lamancha goats. It was so much fun. It was so much better than our pack donkeys who are stubborn and try to decapitate the heads of any animal that gets near them, lol.
Cleaning day! Gonna be nice to swim afterwards
I have the same rolling cart. I have a bad back and use it to bring my grocery store stuff in from the car. Loading it up instead of making a ton of trips helps.
I was wondering why you couldn't use algae eating fish to keep from having to empty the pond???
Hack for brushing a feisty cat…lots of catnip & treats!
- Anyone care to bet that they will end up keeping more than one or at least come extremely close to doing so?😂
-It would also be really awesome if Blue Cactus ended up taking one of the doelings from the doe you got from them!
“Make good choices” and “have a good day” - all things I also say to my animals on a daily basis 😂
When you said 4 years I was like what😳?! I really been watching you guys faithfully for longer than that😭😭
Beautiful cheese! Can’t wait to see how it taste!
What rocks did u use as psvers in the bottom of the pond? I'm looking to do something similar in the shallow end of our pond so tge kids can play.
Ferns grandbabies were born! Little Fiona is officially a freshener!
