I wouldn’t blame the app. Usually when there’s connection issues it’s due to you having too many devices and apps trying to use the radio antenna for your Bluetooth. Basically is congestion. You’re review so far is the only one I’ve seen mention connectivity problems
Yes, I can confirm this. From using the app with my Jabra Elite 45h, it is unable to connect whenever the headphones are already connected to 2 other devices, so I have to make sure I turn off the bluetooth on one of those which I'm not using at the time. It's a bit annoying, but it will solve the issue.
I have both too, and as a self-certified wireless headphones enthusiast, these are my thoughts
Sony: better anc, more consumer friendly soundsignature (bassy and clear), physically lighter
Jabra: better battery life, sweat/water resistant, better mic (use it with a jabra link 370 on your pc and it will improve the mic even further for MS teams/zoom etc.),
Sony targets a more general demographic with the quirks and features of its headphones so a lot of people are for sure more inclined to buy them. Jabra on the other hand targets a more specific demographic: work and play headphones. It has a very good mic (the sonys on the other hand have a very bad mic), is water resistant, and has a really well tuned sound signature: bright sounding. A lot of people say that it's lacking that "UMPH" that most people are looking for in bass, but to me, it was fine. The punch was just enough for me. It has better mids and highs than the Sonys. The ANC is good, but it's nowhere near the ANC quality of Sony (and even bose).
So to sum up, if you want a more consumer-friendly headphones with better sound quality and ANC, go with the Sonys. If you want a more versatile and productive headphones with a good enough mic for work/calls, go with the Jabra. Personally, I like the Sonys more, but Jabras are definitely the better deal

i use the jabra for work ( car detailing shop) so lots of machines on, air compressors etc... itd a year on from this review and maybe their has been some updates.... but mine have never dropped connection once. I love the simple twist and put on my head feature, the idea of have to put my phone to nfc on and touching the pod seems long. The app again ( 2020) is rock steady, i picked up my jabra 85h for 129.00!!! which makes them a total bargain and at that price point nothing can compare imo. Great review. Also a point missed in the video, call quality with them is BANG on....

Have the xm3s. Sound and ANC are outstanding, but.......after few month, they begun to make cracky noises. So i brought them back, got new one.... Now, after few weeks, cracky noises again! For 300€ Headphones.....also the right earcup makes scratchy sounds. I‘m thinking about to buy the jabras now. Sry @Sony maybe next time.
Jabra cost only 200 Euro in Germany less expensive.
@@tiffanyc9608 no i don’t. I bought the Microsoft Surface Headphones. Absolutely happy with that device. ANC, comfort, sound and the controll is awesome. The buildquality of the jabras wasn‘t very good. Cheap plastic and the anc wasn’t really good.
I have had the mx3 for a week, boy ol boy ol boy, after tweaking the eq a lil bit these sony wh-1000xm3 is the shaaaaaaaat, I did not do the software update because some people says there are bugs in it . In closing which do I like better x3 or my girlfriend, you make the CALL. DAMN GOOD VIDS MY MAN.
Yep Sonys a bit better overall but Jabras are substantially cheaper here in the U.K.: I picked up a pristine pair for £125, about $163, with 2-year reseller warranty. I don't think anyone will be able to argue that wasn't a good buy!
There’s some great deals on the 85H now. Just picked up a gold beige pair on Amazon Warehouse, Used - Like new for £92. Not a mark on them. Just a slightly dented box. Bloody good cans for that price 👍🏻👍🏻

Watching your past video helped me decide on a pair of Oneodio (OneAudio) headphones, the brown ones. With the fact wired headphones sound usually better than wireless, I dont mind having a good wired pair for home use and small wireless earbuds for travel since portability is important in that case.
Great video, I watched this because I saw a new sealed box pair for 150. The only problem is I think my wife may kill me since I just bought a pair of Beats Studio 3s. Not to mention my Focals, my Panasonic RP-HD605N, Skullcandy Venues, AKG N 60's, JBL 65 NC. Maybe she won't notice....
which one has the bigger inner oval? it looks like the Jabras are a bit bigger. I am asking because I have huge 👂and I tried the Sonys, they were light and soft (I liked it) but my ears were a tight fit in the cups. Could someone let me know if the Jabras are bigger or smaller than the Sony?
The Jabra headphones are on sale and the Sony ones have been replaced by the XM4, if they fixed the app though the Jabra might be much better value now
I have 85h and anker soundcore life q20, but I will return Jabra and keep q20.
I listen a lot of music, different genres and I could not tell any difference between 85h and q20 with anc on. q20 without anc sound has a little more bass, on some music it is nice in others it is ok. 85H has an equalizer on android and mac you can change a little bit how they sound but I could not say that there is a big difference. Call quality including noise suppression was very similar. ANC and passive isolation was a little bit better on h85. For me anc does not make a big difference in the end I can hear the voices around me but they are more soft. The only think that I missed on q20 was the possibility to pair 2 devices. For me both are comfortable, I think 85h fits better on smaller heads and I have the impression that my ears are a little bit hotter with 85h.
I would like to hear a sony or a bose to see the differences.
The fabric may be nice but to be honest the black isn't that much better at keeping a clean look than the beige. The beige get dark spot - the black gets light spots. The ideal color is a dark grey. The navy blue is nice and should keep a clean look much easier but doesn't fit everybody and/or every outfit.

Actually they don't have the necessary rigidity to stay in your head during sports, neither in gym. Good if you don' t want too much pressure in your head, but not a good point for gym...
What if the jabra's were $150 cheaper instead of just $50 cheaper like they are now

What's crackin' JDL? I got the Jabra's, but I'm still wearing my Nura most of the time. I know you found the experience with them dissatisfying, but I haven't quite found a headset that tops it. The Crusher 360 has the bass, and it's awesome, but the Nura has those beautiful highs and in my view they're more prenounced. I love your vids though man, keep rockin'.

I have the Jabra 85h and I haven't had these issues. I updated the firmware as soon as I got them.

Hi. Did Jabra fix these issues with disconnecting app? I have jabra 75t that works very good. But I need bigger headphones. I have two options jabra 85h for 175 (1111 DKK) usd or Sony xm3 for 236 usd (1499 Dkk ) . I live in Denmark and I just calculated the prices from DKK.

The Sony would probably be the best for that. They have more bass as well as the sound profiles within the app.

May i know though which is better on the ear for listening to music minimum 2hours, my concern is I want to listen to much or watching shows using it for hours and I want to know if which one is comfortable to ear for hours of using, like which one is totally fit on your ears or has space, which one gets warmer to your ears, do you feel sweat near your ears or something after longer hours of use. I actually returned the Jabra headset because i felt the Sony is better. For long-term comfort I really like them I once had an 18 hour layover at an airport and never took them off. Of course I need to adjust them a few times.

ya you can. I saw a jabra elite 85h video of a guy using them on heas pc. Jabra has said it will work very good on both phones and laptops. But he used a
stationary PC and it worked

Okay, i'm gonna say this. They do work with the TV, but it takes some tweaking to get the sound you want. But it's pretty cool to hear surround sound on Netflix :)

@@nikolozchitashvili1015 Well, I mean, they are NOT optimal for watching tv, but they do the job nicely =) Currently using them for PC, and they work great for both RUclips and gaming with the help from software. Unfortunately, the tv won't let me change the sound through the equalizer.
