I FINALLY did a metal cover of this theme! It's one of the most fun VGM classics to play and I've been itching to do a cover of this forever. I had this arrangement in my head for a while where I wanted to treat it as kind of a folk metal / melodic death metal style. Using that Kirkhope-style riffage during the thrashy part at the beginning, then going into a straight up riff fest for the meat of the song. I'm super happy with how it turned out and I hope you guys dig it too!
