    Oooooh the old stack, excellent results, I have my convoy's c8 for more than 1 year and they are still working, with 12 chips, greetings matt!

    Your videos has been invaluable to those who DIY. Could you make a video on different type of drivers and why you would use one vs the other? I interpret the linear drivers as fet drivers which means the only thin that regulates power are the stacked fets and non programmable? A video of all these types of drivers would be amazing.

    Going to be doing this in about a week when my package arrives. Wad wondering. Does it matter which 7135 chips we do this on? As in my driver has 8 already. I can just add 2 onto 2 random 7135s and it'll be fine right? (Aside from battery fitment of course)

    Can I run a pair of T6 LEDs from them and would it be more efficient than a single LED?
    My driver has 8 extra chips on it. Good tip on the middle pin I've kept mine intact. I have half a dozen of these. How would I heat sink a 16mm driver?

    Hello Matt. I would like to ask for your opinion and help Mr. Matt.I have a torchlight, but the battery spring from the drive has come off or is disconnected.My question is, if I want to reattach the battery spring to the drive back to the original, do I need equipment such as solder paste and solder? I really appreciate your help.

    Thank you, for the instructional video. TerraL** cost for the same result about $64 Plus for their unit.
    Now it’s possible, to use this chip board and obtain the same result; at a fraction of the cost of above!
    Thanks once again for your hard work.

    Hi, I had a problem with my diving flashlight.. the flashlight suddenly dimming and shut down after few minutes. It's not flooded but I saw some sparks when I closed the end part of the flashlight after putting the batteries before I used the flashlight.. I changed batteries but still the flashlight won't turn on. I opened the flashlight to see if there's a visual damage to the driver.. there is no damage. I wonder if the driver was busted or the LED? How do I repair my flashlight? Thanks

    Hey Matt, Could you possibly show us how to boost the acebeam w30. I want to try it on my own but I don't know where to start. Also maybe even show us if a RLT collar would work because theoretically there is no reason it couldn't. I know RLT collars are nowhere to be found but I figured Matt Smith would have at least one. Love the your vids btw

    • @istenniyMefistofel
      @istenniyMefistofel 4 года назад

      acebeam w30 - laser pumped flashlight. Lasers, unlike LEDs, do not particularly like overcurrent. I would not risk it on such an expensive and complex device. Moreover, you have more chances to break it than to modernize

    • @istenniyMefistofel
      @istenniyMefistofel 4 года назад

      but if you try and get the result - share the video, it would be interesting. How to see the acebeam w30 inside. Although I still do not recommend you to do this

    Witam mam pytanie. Posiadam latarkę astrolux ft03s. Rozebrałem ją wyjąłem sterownik bo chciałem zobaczyć jak to wszystko po złożeniu z powrotem okazało się że latarka nie świeci. Rozebrałem ją ponownie myśląc że coś się rozłączyło. Wszystko jest na a latarka nie działa.
    Jedynie w trybie ładowania świeci.
    Czy mogę uszkodzić jakość sterownik zrobić palcami zwarci? Jak tak to jaki kupić sterownik by pasował do latarki.

    I've seen people use all three legs to solder, what is the right approach?

    • @Lumencraft-
      @Lumencraft-  5 лет назад +1

      When I remove them from the board I splash the whole chip with liquid flux. Get the tail piece hot and then very quickly jump to holding my soldering iron across all 3 of the front pins. When I solder more chips onto the exsisting ones I bend all 3 legs downward and solder the tail pieces together. Then I solder the two outer legs. You don't need to solder the center one because its electrically the same as the tail piece. If you want to give yourself some extra space you can break off the center of those three legs by bending it up and down. This helps keep accidental bridges from occurring on the tiny pins when you solder.

    Any ready made drivers that have easy access to strobe mode?

      This driver can have strobe memorized in some groups and also have it start as the default in others. asflashlights.com/-diy-parts/75-10-amp-capable-17mm-led-driver.html

    I have a rechargable bike light off ali using 3xl2 chips. I was hoping to increase the driver current but dont understand the circuit, theres a 8 legged chip which is unmarked with a ao7t connected to it, would stacking on this increase current?
