Thank you Gert, I love your improvisation of Amazing Grace and especially on this wonderful organ in Den Haag. We all need the Lord's Amazing grace. So enchanting.
Lovely SpirIt-inspired playing, Gert. Thank you. "The Lord has promised good to me, his word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be, so long as life endures."
It is my favourite song. I love Amazing Grace with organ too much. Your rendition is the most wonderful. I show my sincere and maximum appreciation for your wonderful performance. Thank you.😂
I am STUNNED!! What an AMAZING improvisation of "Amazing Grace". Gert, you are truly a MIRACLE! I have heard many improvisations but never one as BRILLIANT as this one! This is one I will want to hear many more times. Thank you, Lord, for Gert!
Wow! A gentle reminder that strengthens our faith. It also touches my her art. I never heard it done this way before. Thank you, Gert, for sharing this wonderful piece of Music with us.
I remember a TV program with the young Arlo Guthrie and Pete Seeger. Arlo gave some history of "Amazing Grace". A reformed slave ship captain wrote he once "sailed on bloody seas" and "amazing grace saved a wretch like me". Then they both sang it. The program was on Public Radio a long time ago, but that's how I remember it. Hearing Gert's improvisation jogged the memory. From Chicago, U.S.A.

Compassie met Oekraïne is in jouw Spel zo mooi !! Voelbaar . Dankjewel Gert. Rinse
Gert! I didn't know you played the bag pipes! It must be the Scotish in you! You looked very busy pulling all the stops by yourself, but at the same time you looked so relaxed. Loved it.
practise loads of practise, i myself play organ too and i must say the first time i played organ was a mindblowing thing. i kept looking at the pedals to see if i had my foot on the right pedal. after a month or two of playing at home i didn't need to look at the pedals anymore, nowadays i just look at the music and don't really look at my hands with simple bach chorales. With the registers i'd say is just knowledge of the instrument, i can switch registrations really fast if i know where the right registers are i wanna use. its ofcourse still impressive but what gert does here is a show of how long he has been playing, nothing special. no discredit to gert though
Gert, your music never fails to send my spirit soaring heavenward, but never so far I can’t hear you!! You’re absolutely amazing sweetheart and your skills with the King of Instruments 🎹 is unequalled.
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Cor 6:21 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive with Christ - by grace you have been saved - and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Eph 2:4-9
I don't like the style. Repeating the same theme just adding stops isn't really that inventive. I like the one's you've done where you hide the melody much better than this, to the extent we don't really know what's coming.

He doesn't answer.

Bagpipes on the organ....fantastic. "my richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on all my pride"
"Amazing Grâce" bien arrivée jusqu'à mon cœur ❤️ Merci Gert c'est si beau 🎶💕🎶Quel orgue et quel son majestueux !! Beaucoup d'émotion..

Wonderful improvisation of a beautiful piece of music that kept the basic structure of that tune while adding to it.

Talk about “pulling all the stops out!” Great organ and music
Wow❤. Beautiful. We love you in South Africa 🇿🇦
BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE 😉
Bravissimo !
Amazing play!
I still don't understand how it is possible to synchronously play 2 feet, 2 hands and handle the registers as well.
And no sheet music!!! All from memory.
Genius. A God given gift.

That's practice and brain training
@@wouterattheorgan yes a gift that's been exercised as I can see that you have too. :)
That was a brilliant arraignment and performance of a great hymn tune!!! The reed stops especially in the first part really sounded like bag pipes. .
omg thx!!!!!
Wauw geweldig mooi.
Another great performance. What skills you have.
Prachtig!!!!
Bravissimo !!!
Wonderful play , thanks sincerely☺🙃 !!
Thanks so much !
Der Meister hat gespielt! Herrlich!
Grüße aus Dresden!

AMEN!
COOL
Zo goed!!
The opening verse registration sounding like a bag pipe is genius!
This is what the mean by "Pulling out all the stops." Genius. in blue jeans.
Oui je suis d'accord avec vous 🎶
could it be possible that the organ is slightly out of tune? because i tried to play E-piano to it but one of both was half a tone out of tune
👍👍

Which stop(s) did you use for the bagpipe sound?
Dulciaan 8ft

Orgel klinkt als een doedel zak.
Begin is lelijk.
