You did not switch profiles, within profiles you didn't select "SAVE" to activate the overclock, you still had it on default which is why you saw extremely similar numbers

My DS4 gives me an average of 0.55ms and 1800hz polling rate. I ordered a better usb cable as I've been using a random one so i'll see if that makes a difference. I have a PS5 controller too so i'll test it and see how it compares, but I'm happy with the results so far.
Your polling rate is to high is should only be overclocked to 250 poll rate within hidusb as setting to 1000 will actually set the poll rate to 8000 on the ps5 which games don't support and you'll have all sorts of issues. The guy making this video should of done a little more research

So for the Kingkong2 controller it doesnt really work, but it does help, it doesnt lower the latency, but it makes it more consistent, without this delay jumps between 8 and 12 ms every input, now it sticks at 10 ms.
the only issue with ds4 is that it runs as an overlay so the clicks are less delayed but the stick inputs are delayed. kinda like running exclusive fullscreen vs not running it. the only way to reduce the delay is to use the "hide Ds4 Controller" option but it bugs out at doesn't launch into exclusive mode. the latency is consistent but its delayed
Is there any other software that supports the ds4 that would give less delay? Cause i OC the ds4 but the right stick feels heavy and like exponential almost and my sens is so slow and turning is too hard because even on console it felt smoother and way more consistent

I’ve been using this overclock method and DS4 windows with a DualShock4 for about a year now, consistent reading of 0.5ms and a total night and day difference in game, especially the joystick feel. You should actually set it to 250 not 1000 poll rate as the ps5 controller will 4x the poll rate and you'll actually encounter some issues within games.
Setting it to 250 worked way better for me too and I checked the polling rate, still getting 1000ms+ with the polling rate tester he recommended after setting the rate to 1000 in hidsubf

People using hall effect controllers are getting higher input delay. I think your analogues are too "computationally heavy" on the controllers actual signal limitations in the circuitry or your input polling rate is insanely high on such controllers like the CR40/AM40 or whatever, the 8bitio, or sonicom halls. The magnetic field themselves might be having a slight effect on surrounding electrical current heading towards and away from the stick modules and buttons on the controller or distorting the bluetooth waves. Honestly i think halls are a gimmick for gamepads and if you want something better than the stock potentiometer stick, how about you switch it with a mouse nub or one of those micro trackball modules. Some ppl get a big trackball but honestly the closer in size it is to a bearing, the more sensitive it is which is great because you want a shit ton of dot input in a short amount of time to calibrate it with.
I wish the PS5 left analog stick was in the same location as the xbox. I'm one of the very few people that like to play with a controller+mouse combo on PC, and the position of that PS5 analog stick makes playing with that combo pretty much impossible.

i just compared my xbox elite series 2 and my ps5 controller. the xboxs response time is around 7.2-7.5. as the overclocked ps5 controller is 0.22-0.01 response time. overclocking the xbox controller makes no difference.

i just tested it and my ps5 controller came with a 1ms response straight up. No need to mess with any overclocks. The only problem is that my results very between 0Hz and about 1.5hz. Average score is 1.1hz. So very inconsistent. I am running it through Bluetooth. Is it possible that something might be interfering with the signal?

A good tipp is by problems, disable seurce boot on the bios

It's unfortunate that the only two hall effect controllers I'm aware of can't be successfully overclocked.

With hidusb and ds4 windows software, i have gotten 0.6 ms latency on my dualshock 4 controller over bluetooth. Yes "BLUETOOTH" not over wire.
I got 1ms by default in DS4Windows in bluetooth 5.0 (Amitosai MTS-BT5PRO) with my dualsense controller
