The reason we breathe through the nose is so it keeps the air moist and not too hot/cold. Also the nose filters though debris to prevent it from getting to our lungs.

I'm a mouth breather because I'm a bad detoxer. I noticed everyone who had asthma as a kid has a collapsed lower face. I wonder of a homeoblock can open up my mouth and throat. My singing teacher said I have issue opening up my throat and now I think It might just be too small compared to others.

Great video. So can this mouth breather face be fixed in adults by mewing (assuming the adult has the room to mew)? Don’t the cranial bones mostly lock up post puberty or can you still slowly restore proper facial structure overtime?

    • @JawHacks

you can expand the alveolar bone but yes sutures are mostly fused at adulthood. mostly soft tissue changes and muscle toning as an adult

I just finished over 3 years of hard mewing with an overbite and crazy narrow maxilla and mandible, started at 21, im now gonna be 26 in June, and when I tell you I wasted the last 3 years trying to mew my jaw forward… it doesn’t work once your an adult. Point blank period, once your an adult, surgical procedures are the only thing that’s gonna help you at all, and for the love of God, DO NOT REMOVE YOUR FUCKING WISDOM TEETH LIKE I DID THINKING YOUR GONNA HAVE MORE ROOM IN YOUR MOUTH🗣 it literally made my ADHD worse & now I can do nothing but save up money until in a couple months I have enough money for 30% down payment on MSE + MSDO with Dr. Yousefian. And I hope he can even do anything to me with my overbite idk how that works. If I were you I would immediately start getting money together for a surgical procedure. Looking forward to paying to talk to Ron for his advice on insurance options & see what he thinks of my non existent chin

@@robertimmanuel577 If the mouth "wasn't designed for breathing" then it would not be incredibly easy for us to breathe through our mouths. Instead, it IS incredibly easy. Eating through the nose, though, is very difficult. I'm not saying that mouth-breathing is healthy (it is very harmful), but I am saying that this "mouth-breathing/nose-eating" analogy sucks.
