We have a RoadTrek and we love it. One thing we did was paint the van all white. Most places never know we are campers. Just looks like a van. We can park after dark most places. A hotel is great. If the van still looked like yours we would have been approached and sent on our way. Get ready for bed. Go to a car lot. Park in the back go to bed . Leave early and go get your coffee . Never have to do a Walmart again if stuck in a city .
We live in the van part time and so far have not had an issue finding places to sleep overnight. We use freecampsites.net and follow our gut feeling on where to park the van. Oftentimes there will be 5 vans/rvs parked in one area and we park with them. Strength in numbers 😀

I do as well! The magnums have great torque and fuel economy (at least the 318, for what it is). And I also love the styling of the van! Mine definitely needs a good detailing.

This is a nice set up. Right now we travel in a 1995 GMC Conversion camper but I am interesting in a Class B for more ways of east travel and camping where ever we please. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for your complement! I love the setup. I highly recommend a class B as it’s all built out for you, I just found my favorite floor plan and a reputable model. I also always loved the magnum’s. Grew up with a 5.9 magnum what a wonderful engine in my dad’s truck.

Hopefully prices on RVs and Cars will budge soon!! If gas prices go way up RV prices would probably go down during that time. Although Class Bs could stay solid because they are the more economical of all the RVs fuel wise… Thanks for watching please consider Subscribing!!

You can usually go to your local fire department n get a free smoke detector.
Go to your local truckstop. In the section with all the maps you'll find a truckstop guide book. It's $5. It'll save you lots of headaches having one. It will tell you where every truck stop is n what they offer. Fyi paid parking doesn't apply to you.
Get as much solar n battery as you can. You can never have to much power.
