    For years I had 10-12 chickens, only for eggs. They were all kind but one decided that she loved me. During the day they roamed the property but, when I came home from work that one chicken flew into my arms. I also had a peacock who would sit on my lap and preferred to eat out of my hand.

      I have one like this, Her name is Roo. She was the last egg in her clutch to hatch, so mom had abandoned her. I kept her in a box beside my bed under a heat lamp until she hatched a week later. But by then, she was too far behind her siblings. I just kept her in the house and hand raised her. She refused to chicken, but I kept her close to the window so she could see her family outside. She finally started venturing out when she was about 6 months old, and she started hanging out with the others during the day, but come sunset when they made their way back to the coop, she would come running up the sidewalk to the back door and wait to be let in the house 😂. She would go to her box, where I had set up a piece of cedar across the top, and she would sit with us and watch tv until we turned the lights off and then she would go to sleep. She finally stopped coming inside at night, and instead she chooses to bed down in the back of our Gator, which is in the shed beside the coop. She will be 3 on 12/31/24, and she will still come in the house and look for me when we have the back door open 😂. She will get up on my shoulder and just ride around while I clean or do dishes, just like she did when she was little.

    I love these animal reunited videos. I worked with US army vet that served in both Iraq and Afghanistan - he was an IED dog handler - he and his unit were on patrol when the Taliban threw a grenade and multiple guys threw their own bodies on it to save the rest. He is only alive today because of it. He was able to get his German Shephard moved to the US with him since he retired.

    It won't make it seem any better but part of socialization among wolves is to lick inside each others' mouths- it's a sign of trust. Just guesswork, but I assume they can detect hormones excreted from the salivary glands and probably be able to tell whether pack-mates have eaten recently or if they should start proactively hunting.

      Wrong. Dogs are descendants of wolves that people have softened up for domestication and sometimes bred in awful ways. A wolf is not a dog, my friend. If you see one, don't try to give it or biscuit or ham samich, or you might find yourself missing some limbs when the pack shows up. Your welcome.

    If I am not mistaken, that elderly couple that went to visit their chimp, ended up getting attacked when they brought him a birthday cake and one of the other chimpanzees or maybe two of them somehow were able to get over to the couple and I know at least a man lost like a lot of his face and got attacked by the monkeys, they raised, but by his companions. The guy live, and for some reason doesn’t blame the other monkeys like I get the one that you raised but dude lol and the lady I think you’re referring to. It was her best friend. They got mauled and torn apart while this lady watched the 911 call is heartbreaking. She might’ve got injured. I don’t remember, but I get the love for these animals when I don’t get is the people who get so complacent with how they are with the animal they raised as wild as they may be, but you’ve always got to at least beyond and ready for anything if that’s the life you choose. I mean I don’t trust a lot of people. 😂

    Heart warming and heart stopping. I've volunteered at wild life sanctuary's, and once working with Lion cubs, 3 and 5 month olds, I went into their enclosure with a bandage on my arm. First big mistake! Even though I had been working with them for a while and they were OK. This time they watched and stalked me. My next big mistake was bending down to clear out their pond. They were on me in a flash, I was able to fight them off with some help, it left me with a few minor scars, mind and body lol. My bandage indicated weakness and I was easy prey even for cubs. The cubs had never been in the wild, but their instincts are finally tuned. All animals are unpredictable, so to stand in front of a charging adult Lion takes a special type of human being.

  • @indigodragon0613
    @indigodragon0613 24 дня назад

    Like with any culture, bonding with any animal requires you to adapt to their way of communicating. Wolves lick mouths as a sign of submission and affection. Elephants are incredibly aware of their own bodies and would sooner trip and die than squish a human who has always shown them kindness.

  • @maozedong8370
    @maozedong8370 2 месяца назад

    People assume non-human animals are stupid, they are NOT. If you have ever had a cat, you can tell the difference for instance between playfighting and actual fighting. These animals are aware of their strength and how much of it to use at a given time.
    I used to playfight with my cat, but whenever my face got close to his paws, he would refuse to bite or touch my face, only my arm regardless of the mood he was in. Stop assuming these creatures are stupid, I assure you humans are far more dangerous and unpredictable animals to be around.
    Like with most lifeform, they are just trying to live their life. Respect them and communicate with them on THEIR level and you have nothing to worry about. Problems only arise when people disrespect other animals, fail to understand how they communicate and hold them to human standards. It makes no logical sense to do that. That is solely an ego thing.

  • @clarakam3858

    Animals are pure. They atack if they are hungry, they atack if they are scared etc. They will never be mean or atack just because like humans😢. Some humans kill only because they like it😢 sick. An animal will never make fun of another animal with an handicap like some humans . My kid with autism has animals us best friends because humans are to shallow or to mean to be friend with a human with special needs , so i choose animals before humans any day ❤

I will help any animal how I can and when I can. If these people want to reunite yes, they take that chance. But I've seen and heard more good than harm coming from it. I'm all for animals reuniting with their "past loved ones". They need that just as much as the human.

But alot fo these animals have life long bonds and they aren't going to tear apart the people they love. A lion hugging its owner, safe. They are just big cats. I mean, yes, they could indeed kill you. Doens't mean they will. Most of these animals have very few incidents of turning don't he owner. Again, with the exception of the Chimp. Them turning a is a bit more common then the rest.

    While this is all cute and all and it shows that the animals remember us for the good things we do... But it does not mean that when you come face-to-face with a wild animal that this is going to happen... The meeting is probably going to have a more gory representation... In most cases animals don't care about us or want to attack us, so they just move away, but when you get between a mommy bear and her cubs, you going down hard... Videos like this can make it seem fun and cuddly... And that is not a good thing for anyone's health.

  • @grimgrinningtracy9157
    @grimgrinningtracy9157 2 месяца назад

    I'm not scared of any of them that I would bond with and would happily cuddle with the wild ones. I respect the capabilities of a wild animal and understand the situations that will trigger an aggressive response, but humans are no different. Animals do not attack unless given a reason to, scared or defending young, humans can and will hurt or kill you on purpose for no reason at all. You are hearing one instance with an animal and incorrectly assuming all will do that. You also hear of things everyday about humans, anyone can get hurt on accident in the home, in their car, by your own household pet or at work more easily than by an elephant. You have created or have been taught your own fear of animals, I am the opposite, I see them as friends.

    11:50 I've been told that letting dog's give you smooches on the mouth is generally, "White People Shenanigans" 😅
    But I also know plenty of white people who think it's nasty too though. I'm just not one of them 😆
