I break it down into one simple principle. I'll try to state it in simple, unobtrusive terms, but I can't guarantee it won't offend anyone: Women have rejected their traditionally defined roles in society (I have no problem with that, it's just a statement of fact), yet somehow expect men to keep fulfilling OUR traditionally defined roles in society. How does it benefit society to obligate men to their traditional roles while simultaneously absolving women of any respective obligations? It doesn't. It just creates more asymmetry.

Since my wife died 7/29/24 and she was 9.5 years older than me & right now I’m 47. I look 35 due to my wife teaching me skin care.

Society calls guys like me 40 y/o boys. And it is somewhat accurate. I'm living my life having fun and doing things I want to do, including compensating for things I lacked when I was young. And yes, I could be called a boy, because men mature mentally with responsibilities (which other than my job I have none), facing hardships, leadership and being a vanguard for a familly or a group of people. All these qualities are considered toxic masculinity by modern society. So I figured, why bother.
Plus due to my life experiences, I live my life avoiding problems. And after sitting on the bench and watching the relationship game from outside, I concluded eventually that modern women bring along a lot of problems...

If I ever went to one of these, I know I would be rejected but I would only do it to break out of my shell. But we have nothing like that in my small town.
I make six figures and I’m not in ungodly terrible shape, but an inch shy of 6’. I have never been to one of these but know I’d get rejected by the majority of attendees. I don’t need or want to go, but most of the women attending can’t hold a candle to their expectations flipped back on them, body weight to height ratio, income, professional career, and even if you have some physically attractive trait, hair length, weight, face, teeth, cup size, and that doesn’t even go into character, cooking, etc. I can do those things for myself even if I am not pretty, lol. Tall people have always seemed intimidating to me which is ironic since my fiance is 6'3". The early days we started dating he was so sweet that i didnt see his height at all. He's still very sweet and kind when it comes to me im very lucky.
One reason I have never attended one of those events is because I was looking for a relationship and that just can't happen in a few minutes. Being only 5ft 5in tall and being really skinny would not help much but the big thing with a lot of these gold chasers is I never made over 25 thousand a year and could live comfortably off that. The biggest problem with the world today is everyone is always chasing the bigger better thing while I am comfortable living a simple life and people think I am strange because of that.
