This version of Mazinkaiser is a welcome addition, not just because of its design and attacks, but that Shiro Kabuto now has his own Mazinger to fight with

The final close up to Kaiser face after the Kaiser Sword is a must, and here it was awesome. Admittedly, the second horizontal slash was a bit weak but the DK totally saved it.
This version of Kaiser was one of the things I was most hyped for in 30! Mazinkaiser has always been my favorite robot of all time! The only thing that annoys me is the lack of the "shoulder slicer" kaiser blades. Other than that, I'm very happy on how they treated my boy!
since this is based on the OVA Kaiser, he doesn't have the Shoulder Slicers or Kaiser Nova. But all is well since we finally got Final Kaiser Blade again, which while imo is not as visually stunning as Kaiser Nova is still probably one of the coolest attacks in anime history.

Gotta say, I was excited for SRW30 Kaiser's attacks, and I found them lacking, compared to SRW X. The Rust Tornado was just boring, the Photon beam felt like it had much less of an impact, and I miss the holes the Turbo Smasher Punch left on the enemies, not to mention the lack of the Kaiser Nova. I do appreciate the return of the Final Kaiser Blade, though. It may be a decision to make the attacks less over the top, but come on, one of the things we WANT to see in these games is the over the topness of attacks that can destroy several galaxies used against a single grunt enemy! ...And seeing how broken some of these robots are, the "Destroy several galaxies" thing isn't even that much of an exageration, or an exageration at all...
Nope. Mazinkaiser first came out in Super Robot Wars F. Banpresto realized that Mazinger Z would start seeming weak alongside the other upgraded robots, so they asked Go Nagai to make a stronger version. He agreed, and soon enough, Mazinkaiser was born.
This guy really needs his DK. Slicing in half and Melting but no DK. The Weak animation for Rust Tornado gets one. I especially don't like How Final Kaiser Blade slash was so god damn Choppy. More noticeably then the rest of his attack.
Well, to keep with the Infinitsm artstyle, it's probably gonna be from that line. With Getter Arc being made in CG, i really hope that when it joins we'll get a Final Dynamic Special.
haha I used the live version as the theme I liked the SRW L version...its a mix of the OVA and the Ankoku Daishogun version it has both Final Kaiser Blade(And Kaiser is much closer to the explosion than this one), Shoulder Slicer and Scrander Boomerang
Kaiser Nova is just objectively better final move material. maybe it's just the animation but for buildup similar in presentation to Kaiser Nova to just come to pulling out a sword and swinging it twice it's just so underwhelming. even Dann who ONLY has a sword is able to make his finisher flashy, that last swing might not be a super-powered up sword attack but you can FEEL the power behind it
I hate that there’s no Kaiser Nova. It seems like some Mecha are missing really good iconic skills in this game and it disappoints me. Maybe they weren’t able to finish implementing them before the deadline? But they could have just did a dlc to add them later. Not sure why they chose not to.
dude Zero almost all of them has DK. the one whe you wanna have Mazinkaizer is have that combo team atk with Mazin emperor but sadly we didnt have it either in this with Great, like SRW J.

Because his V is also his Z2/3 so you miss his Z era voice actor, Go replay V, some people don't like the multi-dimensional tales of the Z saga, V and X and prefer the simpler Stories of Alpha and T.
I'm pretty sure Kaiser is completely optional, his Side Mission comes up after Infinity's Finale I don't remember the mission name but it should be obvious from the forced deploy slot.
You need Infinity's Finale completed and 180 kills between the Mazinger Pilots (Koji/Tetsuya/Shiro). You might also need to have progressed with the OG story enough.

Gridman's Fixer Beam, if I remember correctly, is some kind of...MAP ability?...like the stuff in the 3DS games, most likely because it wouldn't do damage to the vast majority of the enemies in the game. Kaiser Infitism is based largely on the OVA version (hence why the fists are black instead of blue), so it not having Kaiser Nova isn't a surprise; W was the only game where OVA Kaiser had Nova, so it was more of a "special occasion" than something we should come to expect.

After watching infinity, I can say they did a great job translating that style to Kaiser for 30.
I do always love when the Rust moves are Dynamic Kills, but yeah, it's a little weird to not have Fire Blaster as one.
Yeah for some attacks its anticlimatic. But the worst if a move was a DK and they removed it.

This design is the same one that the Infinitism model kit line uses, based on the Mazinger Z Infinity movie.
