The destruction of sleep architecture, gains, and spiking of estrogen, was enough for me to put the booze aside forever. 6 months clean now and have never looked back. Every journey starts with putting one foot in front of the other and refusing to go back to the old bad habits and the old self. I made a decision and made it up in my heart and in my mind that I will NEVER dig up the dead version of me and continue to look forward no matter how hard things in life get. I remember when I was at 6 months sobriety and I remember thinking that I had never felt so good and it brought me to shed tears of joy. You sharing that is also inspiring. I like to hear when someone had a downfall but the comeback was greater and stronger than the setback! I appreciate your support! I’ll keep them coming.
