The band is A'Studio, the group that originally performed this song in 1998. Batyr Shukenov (who died in 2015) did the vocals. It has been said that Dimash did this song as a tribute to Shukenov (a fellow Kazakh). That would explain this zhoktau-like song (zhoktau = a song of weeping or lamentation, a memorial song done by Kazakhs). The lyrics tell the story of a love that is desolate, nearly without hope....a suitable topic for such a tribute to a fallen person. Then, there is Dimash's masterful use of gesture, posture, and voice, to bring life to the lyrics, to reinforce each phrase by his actions. Sinful Passion is stunning and ought to be considered one of Dimash's interpretive masterpieces. I could listen to it a hundred times in a day and never tire of it!

Since he is the only being on earth so far who unleash cathartic reactions on a collective basis, there is no getting around it. Well there's several videos of the Dimash that he didn't sound like human that one was one of them. I'll let you know later. There's a song called strong Autumn or late autumn when Dimash sang when he was in the contest in China he chose that song because he said the song really really moved him so he sang in Chinese. And he was the best of the best I highly recommended, I believe this was the song when he sang he had over 1 billion plus viewers in China Dimash is incredible. But now I'm looking for a vocal coach or singer who will actually do the English version of this song because I really really respect and admire this song. Dear Lucia, thank you so much for Your reaction. I never subsribed to somewone, I usually do not participating in any voating etc.. I am from Russia and i opened Dimash for myself not so long time ago. And since I've seen him first time... I can not help to watch him again and again. Usually, I just listen, or watch reactions for Dimash. But Your reactions for him are so hornest and beautiful... I cannot recommend it enough. Dimash has, as it were, a black belt in singing -- a new marcial art he actually developed.
I love quite a few singers but no one does to me what Dimash does. Since he is the only being on earth so far who unleash cathartic reactions on a collective basis, there is no getting around it. How does Dimash manage to improve something already perfect is a mystery to me. And I am inclined to leave it as such.

OMG you reacted to one of my favorite, I don't think he's a human when he sings. Only when he's not singing he's a human. He probably practice on the moon, & flys ufo to travel.

Well there's several videos of the Dimash that he didn't sound like human that one was one of them. I'll let you know later. There's a song called strong Autumn or late autumn when Dimash sang when he was in the contest in China he chose that song because he said the song really really moved him so he sang in Chinese. And he was the best of the best I highly recommended, I believe this was the song when he sang he had over 1 billion plus viewers in China Dimash is incredible. But now I'm looking for a vocal coach or singer who will actually do the English version of this song because I really really respect and admire this song. I'm not a music listener or a singer but when I heard this on RUclips from Dimash it changed my life. And that's how I run into your RUclips Channel, because you were doing reaction of Dimash.
